You gotta go hard into speed. Yagoos will plain and simple out damage whatever shields and defensive skills you got so buff speed and outrun them and even then they'll eventually catch you.

Just like with any streamer, it's just a matter of finding the one that appeals to you the most, and considering your complain, it's also a good reason why I can't stand FUWAMOCO, their voices are way too forced and even infantile to listen to for long periods of time, same with Calli who for some reason sometimes uses this very "sweet" voice that obviously comes as too forced compared to her other streams or songs.
Karen Calanni has a history of being a garbage person in general so she goes too far in the other direction by letting that leak into her character work.
And Mori is a pretty lame character in Holocure too since her death skull stops being able to consistently cause chain reactions on harder stages, especially once you are using Halu. Perhaps the beetle will help with that.

Yes. Every character has a unique primary weapon, 3 unique skills (that usually interact) and a whole set of weapons that combine and evolve into more useful versions. You will definitely get more out of it if you know anything about the streamers, since everything is a reference, but it's definitely fun regardless.
It's pretty fun, it does lack the secrets of VS but makes up in having more variety.

More likely they wouldn’t get permissions since the dev is a recluse that you can’t really contact directly. Cover has gotten permission for far more questionable stuff like the wiener game or other things outright pornographic.

Just like with any streamer, it's just a matter of finding the one that appeals to you the most, and considering your complain, it's also a good reason why I can't stand FUWAMOCO, their voices are way too forced and even infantile to listen to for long periods of time, same with Calli who for some reason sometimes uses this very "sweet" voice that obviously comes as too forced compared to her other streams or songs.
Karen Calanni has a history of being a garbage person in general so she goes too far in the other direction by letting that leak into her character work.
And Mori is a pretty lame character in Holocure too since her death skull stops being able to consistently cause chain reactions on harder stages, especially once you are using Halu. Perhaps the beetle will help with that.

Sacred Flame makes your gorilla paw effect weaker too (1.3x rather than 1.4x) so if you have some critical bonuses it isn’t worth it. For example the Snow Queen super collab gives +20% crit which will let you ignore the -20% from Gorilla Paw while still getting a full 1.4x multiplier.
I prefer snow flower sake + focus shades over snow queen.
Yeah, just an example. Jingis in particular is incredibly overpowered and overshadows the others in my opinion. Grab a full meal and you can just yank hard modes. It’s just a shame that it gets functionally no benefit from size increasing effects, though with healing based characters it gets even more absurd.
Jingisukan is good but I don't think I need healing in this game, also holy fire makes the multiplier weaker but you got the 20% crit back
You can pick up crit from other places, I prefer the damage multiplier which stacks with crit.

Late-game has so much visual clutter you can't even get on screen with enemies to hit them and have to snipe them off-screen while your 50 different status effects you applied in one hit do a combined 0.0000001% of their hp per 10 seconds.
Can't take a calcuated risk to trade hp with them because hp is unreasonably rare.
