what exactly is your point. you're trying to say hand animated animation doesn't make the game automatically good, right? that's true. what matters is fluidity and style. nobody could deny cuphead has a high amount of fluidity and a high amount of style. that it has phenomenal presentation is an obvious plus for it, but what majes it truly great is the gameplay being quality. cuphead has it all. it has everything you could want as a developer. it's the full enchilada.

The last phase of this boss is the most trouble I had with the game. Apparently the fire bubbles are supposed to shoot out the flames either horizontally or vertically per bubble but it does both at the same time due to shit coding they never fixed. Fixing that would have made him less bullshit.

          Anonymous

I use the charge shot during that face so I can manage to avoid shooting the bubbles. works pretty good.

That's bullshit, I only take damage on the second phase so basically I'm fricked

I went in with Roundabout and just fired from the opposite side of the snout. Oddly enough, it wasn't until after I beat that fight that I learned you could parry on the tongue.

Either of the tracking weapons will do, it will just take longer since the snout will often be pulled away before shots can reach it, but just dodging the dusty bug balls is easy.

I'm using Charge and Spread. Changing it for the basic track shot is going to be a pain in the dick. Are any of the new shots worth getting?

Crackshot is a candidate for the best weapon in the game, being Chaser with better damage and a better EX shot in exchange for slightly less precise tracking

          Anonymous

Roundabout replier here. Spread was my secondary weapon. The electric bolts would seem a better option on paper since it's a long range spread albeit with a slower rate of fire.

Everyone sings praises of the Crackshot, though I'm not too fond about it. More of a Riser user myself, but that'll be a tricky sell for this particular fight. All in all, they're all worth running.
