Actually I feel the opposite. I used to be so burnt out on video games before I got a real job and started focusing on a career. Knowing you have 1-2 days a week to game makes it feel more fulfilling.

    Sleep 8 hours
    Work another 8
    That leaves 8 to yourself.
    How is it impossible?
If you spent 2 hours less shitposting on this god awful site you would have 2 hours to play vidya.

      >Sleep 8 hours
      >Breakfast and personal hygiene 30min
      >Commute 30 min
      >Work 8 hours
      >Commute 30 min
      >Dinner 20 min
      >Wash dishes, do house stuff 1 hour
      >Personal hygiene 10min
That leaves 5 hours to yourself assuming you dont have more stuff to do that takes even more of your free time (gym, doing groceries, longer commute, working overtime, cleaning up the house, doing laundry, etc)

People underestimate how long they stay surfing the web, homie I stopped for 1 week and finished a full-ass JRPG without changing anything in my daily routine. Get off this website if you want to play vidya.

If you have a job no, if you have a family for sure.

Luckily* that 2nd one doesn't seem to be in the cards haha...

If you are truly passionate about something, you MAKE the time to do it one way or another. Regardless of how tired or busy I am, I always find time to play vidya, even if it comes as a detriment to other things. Same thing with the "i have nothing to play" Black folk who have 1000 games in their backlog - if you actually fricking cared about vidya, you would already be playing them, instead of wallowing in your misfortune here with other people who dont play games

On average you will sleep 20 years in your lifetime, do not waste this time
Work towards a multi-phase sleep pattern so you are able to get more done whilst you are awake
Neet or wagie, 20 years is a lot of time that could be used to get things done

have kids, raise them in a strict amish like religion (but don't be religious yourself), get twice the work out of them.

I was on vacation last week, today is my last day before I have to go back to work. I'm really sick of working, totally checked out of life once it became clear I was never gonna have a wife and kids.
