Konami were supposed to reveal their new slate of Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Castlevania projects at E3 2021, but they pulled out of E3 at the last minute. They've been in a holding pattern since.
Konami don't want to pay to have the footage re-licensed because they're working on a new remaster collection which will have the offending footage replaced.

I play HD version of MGS3 and i can confirm theres a nightmare sequence

Sounds lame, but that native widescreen support and HD UI comes at a price I guess
Widescreen also crops the screen vertically in many places.
