I disagree. Witcher world is much more plausible in its scale. Novigrad with its surrounding wheat fields etc. seemed like a very realistic place. Only thing that took me out of it was when they lit pyres in the middle of a city mostly made out of wood.
However Skyrim was more interactive as a open world game. Geralt can't even sit down in a tavern unless its a cutscene.
I legitimately don’t understand how people still enjoy such a game with such bland and boring combat with no weight to attacks or magic. One of the most overrated games of all time. Mods are the only reason to even bother playing this game. Vanilla is trash.
Been so long and I still don't get why this is GAME of the year. Take out the story and what are you left with? If you're not invested in the story or characters the game is a fricking mess
Witcher 3 has a better story and characters. Skyrim has better world building and lore. W3 has better DLC and music. Both have atrocious gameplay.
