AR is the future and it basically needs to be like that apple thing that just came out but at 2/3 the cost with a 12+ hour battery and as small as a pair of glasses.
We are a decade away minimum from AR/VR being viable.
we had that, google glass. Literally a pair of glasses that just projected the HUD onto the lenses, and had MORE functionality than the apple vision pro.

The VR community did not successfully gatekeep from bad faith influencers and toddlers with zero standards. They were baited with lower and lower MSRPs where now video is sent to the headset through USB 3 and Oculus fans slurp it up.

For what it's worth I really enjoy my PSVR2 unit lol, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 were both fantastic, Moss and Moss 2 are both genuinely super fun and cool games that I'd love to see be continued, Kayak VR and Beat Saber and that mini golf game, and Saints and Sinners, even like some of the demos I played like Horizon. Also Gran Turismo 7 fantastic too lol. I know most people here are poor and struggling living paycheque to paycheque and can't afford it, but I'm rich and so have no problem with the money I spent on the device

Just don't expect the PSVR2 to be much sharper than what you see with it on PS5.
I've tried it on PC and it's very bright but still has that low resolution blur which it has when used on console.
A cheap headset with eye tracking would at least open up mods. Selecting items to gravity glove to you with your eyes would be great.
