I forgot to say that the banners used to be time limited sparks but they updated so that you can spark at anytime so the chars themselves are sparkable even if the banner is gone just you cannot roll for them in standard banner.
It's pretty typical mobile game stuff. The story segments are 3D scenes (and even early on there was a story illustration which the Ryza series has been lacking in.) Otherwise, you get waves of turn based battles with a team you select before starting a gameplay segment. Each character has 2 attacks and there's a charge meter to use an item. The turn order has icons above them for buffs/debuffs and a special attack. The turn order can be affected based on the move used so there's a little bit of strategy to make sure the enemy doesn't get them.
synthesis involves you farming the mats to start the recipe and then choosing two specific characters you've pulled and a crafting item that provide certain crafting traits. you chain these together based on the color of each entity and then rely on RNG to see if you get the best tier of traits.

I forgot to say that the banners used to be time limited sparks but they updated so that you can spark at anytime so the chars themselves are sparkable even if the banner is gone just you cannot roll for them in standard banner.

What's the gameplay like
It's pretty typical mobile game stuff. The story segments are 3D scenes (and even early on there was a story illustration which the Ryza series has been lacking in.) Otherwise, you get waves of turn based battles with a team you select before starting a gameplay segment. Each character has 2 attacks and there's a charge meter to use an item. The turn order has icons above them for buffs/debuffs and a special attack. The turn order can be affected based on the move used so there's a little bit of strategy to make sure the enemy doesn't get them.
synthesis involves you farming the mats to start the recipe and then choosing two specific characters you've pulled and a crafting item that provide certain crafting traits. you chain these together based on the color of each entity and then rely on RNG to see if you get the best tier of traits.

Not really. It doesn't really do fanservice the way most gachas do and relies on the existing brand to make money.
