This has been a busy month for SCS, with both West Balkans and Kansas releasing just over a month apart.
Yes, this is the only time anybody was excited about Kansas.

What's the point? America looks equally ugly everywhere.
But Europe looks the same everywhere. It's all forests and commie blocks, and cities with unpronounceable names that I never heard of before.
You think anyone is supposed to know how to pronounce Arkensaw without hearing it first?
yes
>unpronounceable names
You're one to talk
You can't pronounce Webster, MA?
What the frick of course not. That thing has 3 consonants in a row, what the hell am I meant to do with that?
I'm just waiting for Louisiana.
The next two states are Nebraska and Arkansas.
At this point, they will likely prioritize South Dakota or Missouri over Louisiana. Besides, the entire West is done, and they're in the middle of the Great Plains.
keep on truckin'
Haven't bothered with West Balkans as it clashes with promods. Might try Kansas, thanks Dorothy.
How much better is promods, than the official thing?
just bought it. let's get comfy
How many of the DLCs do you have?
If you don't have connecting states, you can't drive there unless if you fast travel. And the map shape is completely moronic anyway, unless if you buy them to square it off (and there is no reason to not buy them all anyway).
I have all the state dlc
What about for Euro Truck Simulator 2?
all country dlc except for west balkans
Then get it.
The community challenge is still ongoing for that. But the community challenge is also for Road to the Black Sea, meaning you need to make deliveries to or from 30 unique cities, 15 from each DLC, to fully complete it.
I drove to my town and was a bit disappointed that I could only go around the outskirts but they did have the place where my dad actually goes to get jobs irl so that was pretty cool.
Man at least you can go to the "outskirts" of your town, my kind of famous tourist/celebrity city is completely missing even though the main highway that runs through it and by it exists in the game
where the frick is the uk rework
jesus christ that map is from like 2010
wake me up when they hit the east coast in 2030
They should have started in the East Coast to begin with (namely New England), and made it be a 1:10 scale at the very least, and then gradually worked their way south and west.
Maybe for American Truck Simulator 2.
West coast is better for trucking. Cars weren't even invented when all those east coast cities were founded and designed.
>love ets2
>a long trip ends up feeling boring
I'm so fricking depressed I can't enjoy ets2 anymore
still, the comfiest game ever with rain at 100%
Then it's time to start ATS
I'm waiting for roachland for ETS2 and southern Canada for ATS
>still no dirt or wear on trucks and trailers
sad
A good tradesman looks after his tools
>Excludes Lawrence
Kansas bros, we're going home.
The amount of truckers I've met that play this game while doing their layover never ceases to amaze me. Some people were just born to truck.
truckin and frickin is all i crave
My dad turned 69 (nice) last week and he's been trucking for like 30 years and shows no sign of stopping until he's literally unable to.
The older truckers are the best, always super entertaining to talk to and extremely patient. It's funny how even the guys who retire eventually make their way back in doing shorter hauls/part time local work after a few years of being bored at home. There's just something about it that clicks for certain people.
>Take time off from work by pretending to work
yea i've met alot of irl truckers that play this game on the convoys. honestly the most chill boomers you will ever meet.
MAN > every other truck
prove me wrong
Not with that baby engine
>no lot lizard DLC
no buy
Oh boy, the excitement of driving through flat farmlands.
Think of it this way.
If you skip Kansas, you'll eventually have a massive hole in your map.
I hate how they fricked up the sky. Lost all interest in the game this week. Also the new farm DLC looks like it was made by aliens.
I don't think we're in Kansas anymore
>want to drive from my state to the other side of the country
>on the east coast so by the time they get to it, it'll be at least 2025
welp
>2025
More like 2035, if we're being optimistic. We only get about 2 states a year.
Hopefully since Texas is long out of the way, we get to see 3 states, and they start bundling them.
I don't see what's in it for them to bundle anything until they get to the pissant states like Rhode Island. No one is crazy enough to pay $12 for that.
I think we'll start seeing 3-4 states now that all the Large states are done. Texas was huge and took a lot of time to do, but once they start doing Louisiana, Kentucky, Carolinas, etc, those are all pretty medium sized states so they can get those out faster.
It's definitely going to be a shitshow when they have to try to figure out how to fit Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont etc into the map though kek
will we be able to drive to alaska, even though we have to go through canada
