It's objectively great. Great art, well detailed backgrounds, great music, great sound effects, very responsive controls, comfy exploration and challenging optional content, a frickload of content and yet a low price.

It has the same problem as all metroidvanias. It's just a lot of really boring, tedious backtracking. Even worse is the way the mapping system functions. It's just annoying really. The boss fights are great though. I would have enjoyed this game a lot more if it was just a straightforward 2D action platformer. Metroidvanias are overrated.
