This is actually what made me drop the game. The narration being in your usual first-person VN prose by itself will always be painful, but Tohru is such a huge fricking homosexual self-inserting into him is if anything a testament to the collective mental illness of otaku. The motherfricker literally has no opinions on the world and the extent of the thousands of his words in the script can all be surmised to "he a good lad", so vapidly good it stops being praise by the time you're done with the common route (a baffling one tenth of the entire game).
The sex scenes are really bad, too, due to this fact. They constantly wrestle between the really fricking dirty and who's experiencing them. It all reads like a subvocalized, written interpretation of the global pedo's mental gymnastics that get absurdly boring right after the first few scenes.
Such a shame the art and flawless atmosphere went to waste with a disgustingly middling script afraid of having any personality.

how does this work, anyway? its summer in the normal countries, winter in the australia, but where is the line? somewhere in the ocean it just goes from ice to hot? doesnt make sense, there needs to be a smooth transition, so is it spring and fall somewhere? and when it rotates to normal countries being winter, from where does it transition? the east or west? and while it is transitioning and it is spring in the normal countries, is it winter and summer in the off-countries? plus isnt australia just a small country? compared to the normal countries its like 20% at most, so does winter and summer shrink and grow as it rotates around?

The planet is split into 4 parts. In each of those it's either Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring. Over time those seasons rotate.

The effect of seasonal climate is affected by a lot of different factors.
The British Isles are actually VERY far up north but they are much warmer than places on the same Longitude in Canada because sea and wind currents pump heat into the region all year around.
The closer you are to the equatorial line, the less seasons actually matter. There's almost no difference between winter and summer near the equator.
Local geography is also a surprisingly large factor. Plains and valleys have completely different temperatures over the year, even when they are right next to each other.
