I think they're all good and getting into bitter debates over whats your favorite is gayer than when zeldagays argue for thousands of posts on which abbreviation is best
>how dare you compare the games to each other debating their stong and weak points!!!
I guarantee you that is not the kind of discussion that will end up taking place.
good on its own, kinda shit compared to others SH. >no bosses >immortal enemies >reused levels >annoying b***h >first half too easy due to health regen
Origins is cool. Hated the "everything is a weapon that breaks instantly" combat though.
An SH area taking place in a theater was pretty cool. Also the music in the final hotel area is one of Akira Yamaoka's BEST ambient soundscapes.
It's not a bad game. One thing that really irked me was the sound design. In a game series widely praised for amazing sound design, SH4 comes along with its stock-sound-effect burping nurses.
bear with me, cause it might all be shit, but I remember reading this thing a long time ago that inferred that burping was some kind of sign of disrespect or something in japanese culture, so the connotation of the burping sound didnt translate over well into english
It's the closest to an actual Resident Evil style survival horror game when it comes to shit like item management. It's better then the sum of its parts for sure, though the second half of the game being the first half again with an escort, unkillable chaser and your safe space now hurts you/you need to constantly exorcise it, it just becomes so fricking stressful that I just don't really wanna play it anymore, which is probably the point but whatever.
Not even close
But I do think it is a quintessential American horror story. The atmosphere and background, and overall simplicity give it a great unnerving vibe that is also really easy to take in
It plays like actual dog shit, but I will put it on in the background often when I’m doodling or something
tldr; it’s a little horror story with awful gameplay
unfinished asset flip and muh gurl power crap

kys centrist gay
The best game is the one you can afford
>the one you can afford
laughs in pirate
My isp charges me money for each gb.
Mine doesn't. I sometimes download and delete hundreds of gigabytes/terabytes of stuff just to put a strain on them.
Oh I have to pay
you already said that
VPN?
>all of them
Are you including the non-Team Silent games?

Next you'll tell me that RE4/0/CVX is the best RE game
re4 is the best re game.
Unironically it's the second best game in the series after 1
I like silent hill 2 the most
Same
personally I liked Origins a lot
Fine game felt like a psp doesn't have bad games wait it's also on PS2 and 4 is on the bone that should be sayan all

Is origins perfectly playable on psp?
Yeah, totally fine.
So when does Tommy Wiseau show up?
Right on the cover
>youre tearing me APART Eileen!
I love it but SH4 has big flaws. But I guess each Silent Hill game has obvious flaws
What is it about /vr/ that attracts so many autistic contrarians?
>it's the best game in the series
graphics = 10/10
music = 3/10
history = 5/10
gameplay, controls and replay value = 1/10
nah, its boring and annoying.
>music = 3/10
>history = 5/10
How are you this much of a homosexual. SH4 has some of the best songs the series has ever gotten.
>music = 3/10
How can you say that when it has tracks like these
And especially this one, which is arguably the best song Yamaoka made for the SH series
Sure, there's some filler and it doesn't flow as good like SH2 or SH3, but it's pretty good
Bases taste, anon.
The first game is the best one though.
It's not a bad game. One thing that really irked me was the sound design. In a game series widely praised for amazing sound design, SH4 comes along with its stock-sound-effect burping nurses.
she's so cute

Can't say the best but definitely the most innovative one. It was the last try to save the series before it transformed into Silent Hill 2 rehashslop.
