I always thought Lego Island seemed comfy to live on. Pizzas must be expensive though, seeing as they have to import all their food. Maybe Mamma grows tomatoes in her garden or something.
I haven't gone back and played it myself, but I have skimmed through a longplay. Do yourself a favor, and don't ruin those memories.
I still wouldn't say the game is bad, but my younger mind definitely filled in a lot of the gaps with imagination. It's effectively an activity center with a free-roaming world to explore, and little else. I still think it's a fantastic game for kids, but as an adult... the magic is lost.
You can never truly go back to Lego Island.
even as a kid i felt the game was lacking things to do. I was always disappointed that the cave was just nothing but a dude talking to you and certain areas like the living spaces on top of the island were not walkable and stuff like that I thought the graphics style was pretty cool.
if you ever replay this you have to do it on a crt monitor. so many old game memories aren't even inaccurate, it's just that the games look like dogshit unless it's on a crt monitor. the lcd gaslighting is a crime against us

This,
I remember when the first version of Minecraft came out and people said it was like playing with unlimited Legos but I did that shit as a kid 10 years earlier.
I don't know whey the game isn't more remembered, pretty sure it came free with my cereal.
I played Lego Racers, Creator, and this Harry Potter Creator game. I remember being spooked as frick on one of the castle interior maps because there were creepy attic rooms you could fly into and I thought I was going to see a ghost or something.
Creator was such a buggy, broken piece of shit. I think I only played it on a Windows ME computer and it never ran well. I also couldn't get it to run later on my own XP computer, shit was just fricked.
It sounds weird as frick but GTA V always gave me Lego Island vibes. I guess it's the being on an island with racing and jetskis and all the side activities. It's like Lego Island for the adults who grew up with Lego Island.
The closest we had in recent memory was Lego Worlds, Lego Ninjago and those Lego Movie games
As fricking buggy and limited as Lego Worlds was it was my shit for a little while. I'd kill for a Lego game with a similar concept but done more expertly adventure mode never ever

SUCK MY DICK

why did you ruin the song for me
because there was no way anyone could actually understand what the woman was singing in the OG low quality version.
I knew what she was saying
"tock by tick" is easy to hear
Are you hard of hearing I understood every word of that song just fine
COME HOME
Let the nostalgia groove flow through you anon
my memories this game feel more like a dream than reality. I remember something about a spooky cave with skeletons and I remember watching sunsets

I refuse to replay this simply because I don't want to override my younger memories.

because it ran like ass and the controls were horrible and it didn't run at all on newer systems.
its haunted now
I miss when Lego games were actually good and creative, not the bullshit same shitty game with a different movie skin that is pushed out nowadays.
I played Lego Racers, Creator, and this Harry Potter Creator game. I remember being spooked as frick on one of the castle interior maps because there were creepy attic rooms you could fly into and I thought I was going to see a ghost or something.
based and legopilled
>he never saw them

FRICK all these franchise tie-in games, original LEGO games are where it's at.
