Character creator is a great investment for vidya publishers releasing their game on Steam. Give players anxiety about the fact that they'll have to live with the character they create for hundreds of hours of gameplay, give lots of fine details to adjust in the character creator; the players will expire their 2hour refund window before even setting foot in the game.

What's your guys high score on the new 190 something hp Commander Zhaik? Mine was 42 hp after getting extremely lucky and his minions missing about 10 hits in a row on my guys while the protection vs good and evil I put on the mindflayer and the fairy fire on Zhaik made it so they were both rolling twice on everything and taking rolls that favored me. I also hasted the mindflayer with the speed potion, but it didn't help that much. Anyone manage to kill him on tactician?

I wasnt able to kill the mindflayer on the ship because he turns on you after the commander dies, and hes too tough to hit, plus 2 cambions spawn and come in to murder everything. Does the mindflayer drop anything good?

No, 5e does NOT work like that. You get slots based on your combined caster level.
It was confirmed by devs that you gain spell slots at full level and can heighten spells, but you can't take higher level spells than any individual class would allow.

Always use Vulkan. It's like DX12 but better. DX11 doesn't use all of your CPU cores properly. DX11 is fallback for extremely old GPUs that don't support Vulkan extensions required.
IDK for EA Vulkan is always skipping for me while DX11 is smooth like butter. 6700XT and 3440x1440@160hz.

Vulkan Crusader Kings 3 doesn't work for me on 3070.
Nvidia gpus are shit at vulkan thats why nvidia wants you to use dx12 for rtx.
So the way multiclassing spell slots seem to work is half your combined caster level (1/2 for paladin, ranger etc, 1/1 for wizard, cleric etc) rounded UP. Normally it would be rounded down, hence if you go from pally 1 to pally 1, warlock 1, you will magically aqcuire 2 level 1 spell slots.
Although this does give multis a further advantage (and favor certain builds), it's not quite game-breaking.

Probably still sorlock, although going 7 levels in pally for +5 to all saves and whatever other aura bullshit you get is also compelling.
It should just be your net caster level. "Full casters" provide their class level to caster level, "half casters" provide half their class level to the caster level, and so on.
Sorcerer for metamagic. Bard is also an all-around good class.

Doesn't need strength at all. If you want to be a melee warlock take pact of the blade at level 3 and Charisma will be your attack and damage modifiers. You have to use eldritch blast until then but you reach level 3 fast.

yeah I just did it got kinda lucky but basically start by dipping weapons in fire, kill the ads, dont run too far forward to trigger ads, have 2 characters pick up nataloid vessels, throw them behind the commander, use a fire attack to make them explode into a fireball, use shadowheart to cast and maintain the +2 ac channel on the mindflayer who is tanking for you. Each fireball explosion from the thrown nataloid vessels will cause a lot of damage to both of them. I tried to use void bulbs to toss him into a pit but they arent real pits. In mine shadowheart died but whatever we can just res her later probably. And use all your lacerates, rush, pommel strikes etc on him. I was playing with 2 extra characters btw for a party of 3 + shadowheart and gith girl.
