Why is this something to be pissed over? PPL's presentation is cheap as frick compared to the Nintendo Puzzle Collection version of Panepon. They should be asking for that instead, since that's what PPL was originally.
I'm wondering if they'll release that eventually. They have the ROM for it somewhere surely, and they're open to releasing unreleased games like Mother 1 and Star Fox 2.

Had this game as a kid. It felt like shovelware. There were a million variants of this game back in the day, especially on SNES, and this one practically identical to them. Japan has better options that can explore instead of being brand prostitutes.

Grass is always greener on the other side I guess, the game is great but it's only great because the original Panel De Pon 64 is great, the visual changes aren't really that important, they should be happy with the original. They also have the Japanese version of the snes release, so they aren't hurting for ays to play Panel Do Pon to begin with.

I mean, they did give the SNES Panel de Pon to western NSO with absolutely no translation, so it does seem pretty silly that they wouldn't do it the other way around too at the very least. Panel de Pon isn't exactly a game you need to be able to read to enjoy anyways, unlike stuff like Custom Robo or SMT.
