It's a downgrade game with downgrade miniatures (compared to the previous edition) in a stupid scale with failcast equivalent siocast.
I'd bet solid money in a few years time (at best) it's either quietly shuttered with warlord finally giving up on wasting their time with the 2000ad license or we get yet another attempt at it with a new version/minis.
I mean ffs they didnt even have a judge dredd mini in the starter!

Nice. Here's my starter set judges and a few gangers hiding in the back. I put Judge heads on my Necromunda Enforcers, so they'll make a good set for Dredd. I should really get a game of that in sometime soon. Maybe I can bully my wife into trying it with me.
Thanks. I need to get around to finishing the paint on them. These aren't Arbites, they're Necromunda Palanite Enforcers. I probably wouldn't bother head swapping Arbites, they already look like Judges.
Source for the heads? I have 9 arbites without helmets and I might just do what you did basically.
They're the Dredd Heads from GreenStuffWorld. Highly recommended, they're great quality, and on sale right now.
They got a good reaction from the Munda club here. I had the idea of painting all of my Judge-adjacent figures appropriately as they'll work for Dredd, 'Munda or as MaxTac for Cyberpunk.

That’s kinda what I figured. Getting a box of enforcers or arbites would give me many judges and many options.
Nobody else plays it around me.
And it’s hard to find except online.

The 2009 stuff wasn't that good looking.
The resin isn't bad.
The starter set has a rule book, the rule book has the rules for dredd and anderson, use those miniatures with their rules, easy.
The Stallone movie hurt him in a bad way.

I intend to start either Judge Dredd or the baron's wars fantasy game over the summer
I decided to start it this summer. Gonna grab the dredd and maybe SJS gerhart models next.
The Gerhart model is pretty sweet. I like that they come with on foot and bike mounted versions.
How does it play?
Small scale gangs in scenarios or narrative campaign gang play.
Advanced small scale skirmish. It has placement and facing rules.
Good source for cyberpunk terrain?
A 3d printer.
Mantic makes some decent stuff and it’s much cheaper than GW.
Etsy or eBay.
Should have the judges painted in the weekend.
