there's a lot of reasons why it took him so long for chapter 2. but now that he knows what the frick he's doing, chapter 3 and onwards shouldn't take as long. i suspect that we only have to wait 1 - 1.5 years for the next releases to come out. he has also said that a good chunk of chapter 3+ was complete, so that might be a factor to consider too
He wasn't going to originally iirc, but then changed his mind and released this chapter for free just to do something nice (and probably to rebuild some hype)
He did something right considering he gave the homosexuals on Ganker something to talk about for weeks. Shouldn't be considered unusual since gays have no standards.
the game does have an absolutely insane level of detail though
it's quite incredible how toby manages to fit a frickton of relevant dialogue and tiny secrets in such a seemingly simple and small game. the creativity required for that is insane
