There are build discussion, easter egg finds etc. in the /vg/ cyberpunk thread. But they are usually most lively after a patch with changes to the combat/perks. So there was a ton after 1.52 came out. Right now there is nothing new to really talk about untill a new update drops. Some people have over 500 hours in the game so we've pretty much talked about everything there is to talk about. Right now the only things remaining are the waifu wars and waifu posting.

It is a good score, a bad score would be 5 or below. The way people talk about Cyberpunk you would think it had a 1/10 userscore. A lot of those reviews are just left there from launch aswell. If you look at the recent user reviews its all 10/10s.

I didn't try streetkid but nomad made 0 sense. When you're corporate, Jackie is your childhood friend and the story makes sense. When you play nomad, it's like "here's your new best friend" and BAM instaforced. Absolute dogshit storytelling. It took them 9 years.
Wtf no its not, you meet up with Jackie and then he just assumes you're best friends. There was no development or build up, it just cuts right to it. It felt extremely forced. It takes less than an hour of gameplay to get there. The fricking side missions have more relationship development. At least with corpo it makes sense with the backstory.
V and Jackie are two mercs cut from the same cloth. They meet as part of a random gig which goes south but they work well together and manage to escape. This pretty much sets up their bond right away. How the frick is this forced or bad story telling? Literally just making up shit to complain about with zero merit.
Jackie pairs up with the nomad and mistrusts them until Jackie sees V is a very competent criminal. Jackie decides to team up with V based on this, then it has a montage of their relationship forming over SIX MONTHS. That is the build up. Jesus, put down your phone next time and pay attention.

Even if I lived in the fricked up dum dum moron land you seem to be king of and it WAS good, why the frick did it take two fricking years to get there? I’ve been playing it for the last couple weeks.
It was still hard to get used to the clunky interface.
I almost gave up after a couple of objective points glitched out on me.
But I just cleared out the map, every fixer gig, every cyber psycho and every side quest.
Now I’m doing the Tekimura missions.
Everything turns around after you upgrade to double jump and the ‘friendly mode’ quick hack.
I’d rank it up there with the Ezio series. It’s no Farcry 2 tho.

My only gripe is the messy, unintuitive interface. The hardest part of the game was closing the cyber psycho missions.

Although I did encounter multiple bugs (animation glitches, failing to pick up random items, quests and dialogues rarely not advancing, among other things), thanks to the fact that I have a high-tier PC so I guess i could brush it all off with a "works on my machine".
As others have mentioned before, it lacks player agency, where only an extremely small amount of quests provide actual choices, such as the prologue quest which was featured in the 40-ish min gameplay demo, the Taxi questline, and the final quest(s) where you storm (or don't storm) the company HQ. All other quests' choices are either absolutely nonexistent, bereft of weight as it never gets brought up again, or all the choices railroads into the same path (like the Voodoo Boyz questline). It's rushed and the Fixer gigs are horrible. They call you up out of the fricking blue, they dump some shooting or maybe rescuing on you, which would be fine if this didn't put up the majority of the game.
Calling this game "Open-world" is a ridiculous overstatement. There's nothing to do in Night City. Compare this to GTA V where you can go play multiple sports. RDR2 has random horse races, events and card games. Even Skyrim has random encounters and wandering merchants.
You are supposed to be in a city of crime, where committing actual crimes are either heavily discouraged by spawning police officers right behind you or not existing at all beyond scripted quests.
The amount of missing advertised features are infuriating to a NoMansSky level. Car chases are scripted down to the seconds, Bounty levels, social statuses based on clothing and vehicles (yea they said that), multiple apartments, entire map zones missing, character flatlines and trauma teams dumbed down to story elements, "deep" police systems including corrupt officers... honestly I could go on and on.
Bugs can be fixed, key features are much harder to replace. This game is plagued by bigger issues than bugs.

Its one of my own personal favourite games of the past 10 years. Its funny watching shazamtr00ns malding as it dawns on them how fricking irrelevant they are.
Everyone now knows that Cyberpunk is a modern masterpiece. The only ones seething are PS4 trannies who can't play this amazing game on their dogshit hardware.
Got it as soon as it was availeable to torrent but b4 that i watched no dumb coverage, gameplay, trailer otlr other hype type videos abt it.
And fricking guess what? I liked it, a solid 7.5/10(mb 8 if my mood was better xd), shure it was as buggy as a bethesda title and the performance was beta build game tier bad but nothing out of the ordinary.
Moral of the story:if you want to enjoy gaming dont feed into the hype, the preorder cupture and the onions fanboys, just ignore all that shit and play the release product(preferably pirate it and later buy if you like it) so youll have no preconceptions of the product and and regret/obligation to play bc you potentially wasted a bunch of cash.

My only real gripe was the pretty short main story, lack of true rgp elements(the game was more of an action game with rpg style leveling) and the godawfull difficulty scaling bc i just steamroll the game on medium or am forced to dump 100s of rounds into enemy heads on hard(i fricking hate bulletspungy enemies in general).

I didn't try streetkid but nomad made 0 sense. When you're corporate, Jackie is your childhood friend and the story makes sense. When you play nomad, it's like "here's your new best friend" and BAM instaforced. Absolute dogshit storytelling. It took them 9 years.

The whole game is fantastic really. There isn't a single sci-fi adventure this gen which is even fit to lick the shit off Cyberpunks boots.
Wtf no its not, you meet up with Jackie and then he just assumes you're best friends. There was no development or build up, it just cuts right to it. It felt extremely forced. It takes less than an hour of gameplay to get there. The fricking side missions have more relationship development. At least with corpo it makes sense with the backstory.
V and Jackie are two mercs cut from the same cloth. They meet as part of a random gig which goes south but they work well together and manage to escape. This pretty much sets up their bond right away. How the frick is this forced or bad story telling? Literally just making up shit to complain about with zero merit.
Jackie pairs up with the nomad and mistrusts them until Jackie sees V is a very competent criminal. Jackie decides to team up with V based on this, then it has a montage of their relationship forming over SIX MONTHS. That is the build up. Jesus, put down your phone next time and pay attention.

It's a pretty good game but after finishing it I've not had any urge to go back and replay it again.

I’ve been playing it for the last couple weeks.
It was still hard to get used to the clunky interface.
I almost gave up after a couple of objective points glitched out on me.
But I just cleared out the map, every fixer gig, every cyber psycho and every side quest.
Now I’m doing the Tekimura missions.
Everything turns around after you upgrade to double jump and the ‘friendly mode’ quick hack.
I’d rank it up there with the Ezio series. It’s no Farcry 2 tho.

Alright Anon, I'll bite.
Although I did encounter multiple bugs (animation glitches, failing to pick up random items, quests and dialogues rarely not advancing, among other things), thanks to the fact that I have a high-tier PC so I guess i could brush it all off with a "works on my machine".
As others have mentioned before, it lacks player agency, where only an extremely small amount of quests provide actual choices, such as the prologue quest which was featured in the 40-ish min gameplay demo, the Taxi questline, and the final quest(s) where you storm (or don't storm) the company HQ. All other quests' choices are either absolutely nonexistent, bereft of weight as it never gets brought up again, or all the choices railroads into the same path (like the Voodoo Boyz questline). It's rushed and the Fixer gigs are horrible. They call you up out of the fricking blue, they dump some shooting or maybe rescuing on you, which would be fine if this didn't put up the majority of the game.
Calling this game "Open-world" is a ridiculous overstatement. There's nothing to do in Night City. Compare this to GTA V where you can go play multiple sports. RDR2 has random horse races, events and card games. Even Skyrim has random encounters and wandering merchants.
You are supposed to be in a city of crime, where committing actual crimes are either heavily discouraged by spawning police officers right behind you or not existing at all beyond scripted quests.
The amount of missing advertised features are infuriating to a NoMansSky level. Car chases are scripted down to the seconds, Bounty levels, social statuses based on clothing and vehicles (yea they said that), multiple apartments, entire map zones missing, character flatlines and trauma teams dumbed down to story elements, "deep" police systems including corrupt officers... honestly I could go on and on.
Bugs can be fixed, key features are much harder to replace. This game is plagued by bigger issues than bugs.
I'm glad there are still sensible people on this board

The state it was in at launch left a bad taste in my mouth. It wasn't performance problems, played it at max settings but it was shitty AI, LOD issues, shadow pop-in, everything resetting just because you look away from it.
Also the three paths was supposed to be an actual feature, not just one quest. They even made a separate video for it.
I would have refunded it if I wasn't so hell bent on giving CDPR a decent chance since I liked all the Witcher games, but ultimately I dropped it after 10 hours. I might give it another shot some day but still can't shake the shittiness even after a year and a half.

Got it as soon as it was availeable to torrent but b4 that i watched no dumb coverage, gameplay, trailer otlr other hype type videos abt it.
And fricking guess what? I liked it, a solid 7.5/10(mb 8 if my mood was better xd), shure it was as buggy as a bethesda title and the performance was beta build game tier bad but nothing out of the ordinary.
Moral of the story:if you want to enjoy gaming dont feed into the hype, the preorder cupture and the onions fanboys, just ignore all that shit and play the release product(preferably pirate it and later buy if you like it) so youll have no preconceptions of the product and and regret/obligation to play bc you potentially wasted a bunch of cash.

My only real gripe was the pretty short main story, lack of true rgp elements(the game was more of an action game with rpg style leveling) and the godawfull difficulty scaling bc i just steamroll the game on medium or am forced to dump 100s of rounds into enemy heads on hard(i fricking hate bulletspungy enemies in general).
