Absolutely yes. I got into P4 through the anime as well, and it’s fun and does a good job with the characters, but it can’t even begin to capture the atmosphere and coziness of the game itself. If you enjoyed the anime, you will like the game.

Hard is actually a challenge and it's extremely fluid at 165hz on PC, p5 is a joke on hard so even if the mechanics are more ironed out they don't really serve a purpose since you can grug smash trough the game with no effort.
persona 3 is the only nu-persona with any semblance of challenge so if difficulty is how you decide on best gameplay that should be your top pick. even still, you'd be wrong.

I personally never found p3 challenging, nor the AI to be as moronic as people seem to emme about. I'm not saying p4 is SMT levels of hard i'm just saying that some bosses require you to pay some attention.
Then again i played the JP version of P3 so the teammates are probably waay smarterer than the US version
Some bosses being harder in 4 doesn’t make 4’s gameplay better, it makes 4’s difficulty better. Gameplay is a holistic consideration of many different factors, including UI, level design, and difficulty, among other things.

His crush is a kind of unhealthy leftover from his repression. Kanji was attracted to her like any guy his age would be and it made him uncomfortable and becoming attracted to her as a girl lets him take control back and re-contextualize his prior stupidity. He'll get over it as he grows further away from the person he was.
She looks really attractive and sexy yet in P3&P4 every character says that she looks ugly and old, it's almost like Soejima designed her without knowing what kind of character she's supposed to be in terms of personality.

Non Non Biyori is a great example where Hotaru is introduced as a ten year old, but every other character says she "looks like a 20 year old model". Makes no sense.
