them and then the hirelings. the Drow Minty is either giga bugged or unfinished so she basically doesn't exist. Karlach (red b***h) doesn't have an end to her quest. Pretty much all companions besides Shadow and Frog fall between not fleshed out - completely unfinished.
The Drow Paladin was basically added as a full companion in the 11th hour so there's no real quest line for her or tons of dialog. Presumably it will be added at a later date, but right now it's an incredibly one sided trade off to get her as a companion, considering you end up losing Karlach, Wyll, Halsin, Minsc, and Jaheria in the process of recruiting her.

We're about to finish up act 2 and she's hardly said a thing since recruiting her at the beginning of the act while being in the party the whole time.
You can get every companion in a single playthrough using a few exploits. To get Minthara on a "Good" playthrough, you have to save the Tieflings with the Shadow Druid Questline, then when you enter the Goblin lair, release Halsin but tell him to wait in the prison. Then kill the 2 goblin leaders, but never talk to Minthara, just leave her there.
After that enter the Underdark and progress as normal, Minthara will be in the Moonlight towers as a prisoner, and you can rescue her there. Then to get Halsin you do the Thaniel quest and he joins, and you don't lose Wyll or anyone this way.
And honestly it's not really an exploit, Minthara even has voice lines for everyone in camp, even the ones that are supposed to leave when you recruit her.
Of course it isnt, they intentionally designed this because they know a significant portion of their fanbase would rather cut off their own arms than accept a true tradeoff with consequences beyond 80gold/20xp vs 20gold/80xp.
You can get minty to join you without genociding the grove but it bugs her out even more than she already is. Minty is completely unfinished and bugged and not worth playing for except to see her scene in act 1.

It kind of makes sense he got Halsin, both him and Gale seem to basically auto romance when you talk to them for some reason. Gale only finally left me alone when I partnered up with Shadowheart in Act 3. It's crazy because there wasn't really any way to shut it down past that first "let him teach you magic" thing and all the women seem to have clear romance/don't romance options.
