I'll start by saying I’ve missed you guys. I'm not the usual OP but since I did not see anyone else make the thread, I did so. For me, Korea Time has always been the right balance of comfy and hype. Today's matches:

Those are some good players, and I reckon Mini and Best will probably dominate today's matches. Which they deserve, they're good-ass Protosses. But I'm also silenting rooting for Piano.

I was joking. Firebathero and Savior were my favorites though. I know of Best, but that's it. I haven't watched in a while though.
The only names I remember are Boxer, Flash, Stork, Jaedong, Bisu, whitera, yellow(?), reach, july...

Yeah, I just read the last sentence of your post. Bisu and flash are still around, more or less. Stork was in asl last year, I think.
Jaedong is back. Stork announced his retirement after ASL 12 I think.

God I'm starting to become like Tasteless myself, my belly is like way larger today than what it was 7 years ago. I'm scared. It's part of the reason I've been trying to get some more regular cardio in my exercises. Also pumping some iron as well, because if I'm gonna get big, then I should at least get some fukken' muscles as well.

I am curious, how come no BW player has sponsors? Like surely some org would pick up someone like Flash or Larva to improve their brand. I know SC2 pro players typically have orgs behind them.
Or is it just an ASL thing saying that they can't show any non ASL sponsors?

Diversity droneified devs can't accept the fact that broodwar is better than SC 2, blizz*rd won't help broodwar.
They don't need to. Melee players get sponsored by some of the biggest orgs in the world and that's even factoring in that Nintendo stopped ESL/Red Bull from running a Melee tournament series.
That's a minor bw problem too, after many years only DeWalt was able to inflict pain on a korean (Barracks) and only 4 or maybe 5 players can defeat Dewalt.
Modern E-sports = inclusion and bw is not inclusive to scrubs like us...
nu-zzard doesn't help any of their games to be fair, even the ones they're still putting money into

Isn't the caster forgetting some other great protoss? Can't remember his name, though.
Who did he mention? Mini, Rain, Bisu and Snow are the only four current protoss I'd consider serious contenders.
The rest are at a level where they'll eventually run into someone that's simply better than them and lose.
