I don't care what else they worked on. If I don't like the art, I don't like the art. Even if their previous game was literally the best game ever (which it really wasn't), that still doesn't make the art of this game any better.
That said, as long as the game itself turns out to be good I don't really care that much about the visual style.
I fricking hate the setting. Dunno why, but Indiana Jones clones are so boring to me. I'll definitely give this a miss. Shame, because Shadowrun and battletech were good. Was hoping they'd be forced to make a battletech 2 with a budget it deserved.
>generic shitty cartoony artstyle that every basedgame uses nowadays >weird mystery meat mutt (is he supposed to be Arab? who knows) >checklist team diversity >almost guaranteed to be NuCom gameplay >Paradox
I liked the simplistic cover system, the quirky weapon classes (sniper rifles are for interruption rather than damage dealing, shotguns are very accurate but bad against armor, pistols carry the most ammo, melee weapons ignore armor etc.), and the overall setting, but it's just so bare, especially since you're expected to replay each part a bunch of times. Eventually you max out your team and get gear that gives you all the perks, and you're just ticking off randomized encounters.
If HBS is going to make a new XCOM style game I would have preferred another Shadowrun installment. Maybe in Denver or the Free City of Constantinople.
I'm not wild about the art style, but I'm always up for some turn based tactics and the Indiana Jones style setting looks fun.
the developers worked on shadowrun as well, so give em some slack when it comes to art direction

AFAIK they don't have the license to Shadowrun or Battletech anymore, so it's no surprise they're working on an original IP instead.
>Indiana Jones clones
How many of those have you even played to get sick of them? Pathway gave me an itch for that kinda stuff but the game was a dud.
>Brendan Frasier
>Jennifer Lawrence
who's the brown guy?
Young Yul Brynner when he still had hair?
Ugly Black person
>rat faced mystery meat
sigh
Is it just me or is the gameplay "Empire of sin but in a dusty tomb"?
I don't wanna play a Pixar movie

>man I wish tactics squad games made a comeback
>there's a trillion of them now but they're all 2AP nucom clones
Fricking monkey paw shit
this exact game was made 4 years ago
This game sucks, tho.
true, theres barely any strategic/tactical depth to this game which sucks

I like the concept but hate the design
that said, it's HBS so it's gonna be shit
Does Kiva still work for HBS? I hated everything she did to BT. The events were moronic and unfun. All of her ideas were stupid.
>horrible characters design
>atrocious humor
Little hope for that one
