You have to use kek+ to have tokens, the good units & building customization. And having noble titles locked under LoL+ is one of the reasons I hate it beyond belief.
There is a decent feudal system, with a temporal/religious separation, and even some barebones Tzarate/Patriarcate to simulate Eastern European states. But they were never fleshed out...
Dev added a desertic continent, Paradisia, but no Iqta kingdoms or empires.
No tribal kingdoms, no nomadic hordes, no early firearms, but cannons are ok (as the dev says).
The dev has to choose. Is this a medieval sim? A renaissance one? A modern/baroque one? It really boggles my mind sometimes.
But until you play as a shit tier village, like I do, these problems really are not noticeable.
You can be a low nobility (baron, viscounty, lord) and medium (county) and high (duchy) without lol+ so it's ok.

It would actually be pretty cool if the regalia spawned on Africa and instead of giving it to troony A ortroony B we gave it to Godson and made him a Cecil Rhodes style king of all spearchuckers, even if the troony mods immediately deleted him because some non troony stole their precious maguffin
I wish village production were severely nerfed so there were like 10 villages for every town because 90% of the population was rural in those days and one little village of 2000 people could not supply a giant town of 20-30k with all of the meat and grain it needed.
But since managing 10 different villages would be a nightmare, what if each territorial org had (potentially) multiple population centers so that the population of what is now, for example, a low nobility could be split over a far larger area (like 200 arpents radius) instead of concentrated in one little 25k clump. There would be one primary municipality (urban) and a bunch of member municipalities (rural). It would still feel like managing one domain because all these municipalities would be part of the same domain, and thus they would share finances, inventory, and personnel. While a unit would belong to any individual municipality, which means that each muni has its own immigration rate, it could still go to the primary muni and be trained as a soldier, a builder, or anything else that is compatible with its home muni. Thus even if 50% of your dudes lived in villages, you could still recruit a big army should circumstances demand it. The only restriction is that a unit could only do autoactions in its home muni so that the population is forced to be spread over the land.
there's obviously other stuff to consider like temporal and spiritual spheres, and how all the religious stuff would work, but the tldr is more total rurality and fewer domains

would what work? what are you even trying to do? put everyone under a single vassal tree? if so, the easiest way to do that is to make 1 out of every 7 starting hamlets into a lordship and use it to vassalize 6 villages, then put those 6 lordships under another lordship and so on until you have your entire vassal tree.
You can't just control every single domain from a single account, so good luck on controlling 150 domains. If you were planning on just sitting everyone in a single domain and sieging outside of ballista range, I don't think that will work either, because sibling vassals under a single parent don't aid each other if one is attacked (I'm pretty sure).

The old way of doing supply chains between domains is obsolete. Generally you can now sell 100% of the product from domains A to the market and then just auto-buy it all back from the market in domain B. It may be less logistically satisfying to do it this way, but it is a hell of a lot easier.

cities are only useful for having a big population for a big army for medium and high nobility, cities are worse in towns in every regard except this. So if you aren't some top player with lots of vassals cities aren't maintainable while towns are I think

Ulrich von passau’s tickets have some old chronicles. Bellota, Aimery, Torrenova tickets cover some more recent history.
In the beginning there was a man with a dream, his dream was to live on a beautiful island.
This dream was shared by some Russian brigands, so he and this fellows ran away to frosty Nessos instead to make Ingerland.
Mark Brexit and his people having now settled near some Tileans under the powerful local warlord Noah Buck the Schoolboy and his henchman Arborea the Very Chinese were in great danger, so he turned to the Russians for protection.
The Arch Duke and his jolly Ingerlish men served Goose well, and drove the local Tileans of Logres back, but all this was undone when the Goose Emperor was sniped by the nefarious Tilean Midget, who came over with all the host of Samothrace after successfully lobbying the God Moderator to a change to the malus rules.
Thus Goose died, and his hat was stolen by Normandy, and the Empire of Thule was gone forever.
With the Russians in disarray the Russophiles such as Brexit were greatly weakened as a faction in Ingerland, and a rival arose to vie for leadership - Sneed.
Sneed had a vision of a world where Russians were not Sneedful.
Around this time a calamity for Ingerland when Grug died, but Brexit took some measure of revenge, slaying the Schoolboy Noah, though some say he just went back to school.
Whatever the case may be, Ingerland had lost faith in the Russian lover Brexit, and decided to follow Sneed and became vassals of the Pikeys of the Empire of Roma.
Thus the Roma and the Ingerlish launched their gypsey crusade against the Tileans together, but they were alas brutally crushed at Laterano.
Once again it was the Tilean dwarf Hawkwood who was the bane of Ingerland,
Now so many Ingerlish lords lost their armies or died at Laterano that it can truly be called the death of Old Ingerland.
The Empire of Roma did not last long either, the Tileans pursuing them to Old Africa and their emperor literally killing himself in shame.
Sneed saw which way the winds were blowing, and he bent the knee to Tilea
This bending of the knee did not sit well with his fellow Ingerlish, and thus the First Kingdom of Ingerland under the Tileans lasted mere days.
The victors of the Ingerlish Civil War sent Sneed and his most loyal men packing, and under Benis the Ingerlish regained their freedom and their dignity.
New Ingerland was safe only for as long as the Tileans had other enemies, and thankfully they still had the Etolians to destroy, and so Ingerland hunkered down and built its walls and armies.
Shortly before the drowning of the world the Tileans left Samothrace and crossed Nessos to take the new island Orient, and Ingerland could only look on and pray for their own new land.
When Frigos arose with Occident a new chapter for Ingerland began, but I will let the New Ingerlish tell you why they vassaled under Arborea, the former Tilean of Nessos, or why there are so many former Etolians and other non-Ingerlish who are quintessentially Ingerlish now, or why they are under Bellota and not Benis now.

The skill threshold for performing an action may have risen in the last two years or so i think, so even if you give your bricklayers hammers, they should not interfere with the carpenter's work.
But even if the quality of the finished building remains the same, hammers/chisels provide stonecutting skill, which should reduce the time required to build, so it's worth it

siege effect changes with distance to central market, they may be trying to game the system by getting most of the money instead of the enemy, but it doesn't help with the happiness malus so idk
Distance has no effect on siege effects. It's because sieging affects tokening (can't token a besieged domain before waiting five minutes of the action/movement), so self sieging is basically to gain some control of tokening instead of it only being an advantage of the attacker
