I hated how they added Yoshi's voice to the GBA one.
GBA version is fricking unplayable
It doesn't tint the red coins
Possible red coins in the SNES version are tinted red
In the GBA version you just have to blindly collect every coin, it's such a fricking awful mistake
>Too casual to not just pick up every coin. >But apparently not casual enough to just use the magnifying lens item.
What a miserable purgatory you exist in.
yeah sure let me fricking pause the game to use the stupid moron item i never had to before, that doesn't destroy the pacing or anything
Less memorization/item use/tedious collectathonning of every single yellow coin = better yes. The SNES version was thoughtful and had the full care and attention of the original designers behind it. The GBA version is a botched portjob by people who could never care or understand YI as fully as the original devs.
White balance is different on the SNES and there's texture on the brightest bit of the clouds. Beyond that Yoshi has a voice in the GBA version and the red coins aren't tinted. There are a number of other problems. The biggest has to be screen crunch though.

I can't stand the gba version cause it shoehorns in yoshi's voice. There's probably a mod to fix it, but I'd rather just play the version with more screen real-estate anyways
It was like LTTP on the GBA where they ruined it by adding Young Link's voice. Just because the GBA had more room for voices it wasn't necessary to put it in just because and it didn't even make sense because Link in LTTP is not as young as Young Link is.
I hate whenever I want to look up some gameplay footage of the SNES one and it's the awful GBA one.
>not portable
>portable
hard decision
you can emulate both, system is irrevlant
Except SNES version has a larger resolution so you see more on the screen.
Typical Switch tendie.
have a nice day.

cope
Enjoy your inferior version, zoomie.

Spic
Right with the left palette patch
I hated how they added Yoshi's voice to the GBA one.
Left which is what right would look like if it could pull it off.
They look the same.
This, absolutely no difference at all. You people are dumb as frick.

Left, because it looks and sounds so much better.
For me it's the portable version with SNES recolor

Does it fix the red coin tint? If not, still unplayable! Sorry GBA gays!

>wasting item space on that
Those spaces are for the +10 and +20 Stars items.
The one with more levels.
For those who don't know, the new levels in the GBA version were made by the fricking devil. They are EVIL
Still not as bad as Kamek's Revenge.
id take them over the cave that never ends
is there a patch that backports them to the snes version

Console was always a superior experience to handheld until that weird era where no one was making 2D games for consoles anymore
Left.
>no HUP HOOOOO
>no washed out colors
>sound is superior
>Left.
>>no HUP HOOOOO
That's a good thing. Yoshi's original sounds will ALWAYS be better than his stupid homosexual voice.
soulless

>van gogh tier backdrop on the left
hmm hard choice
