Haven't noticed this at all yet.
You will, after 25 and up
>Max difficulty
>lvl 45
>Feel like a god
I will say there is some balance issues. Full auto guns feel like pea shooters.
Only strat i like is using the overwatch and oneshotting everything i see.
Have not specced myself for full auto nor melee, but they do feel way weaker.
mantis blades are insane, pure rip and tear
I like the monowire. I can't tell what makes it stronger now, though. Can you really only reset skill points one time?
skill point yeah. perk points can be refunded whenever without limit.
Airdash, double jump, mantis blades, sandy
Everything you could ever want
>1st person melee
I just one shot everything with shotguns. Melee in fps is like a moron swinging his arms at things.
Melee is extremely satisfying in this game. It's relatively fluid too with the parrying, bullet deflect, the great movement and finishers. If you build properly, melee is really fun.
Mantis blades are cool but they’re poor in comparison to katanas and they take up the valuable arm slot. They need something that makes them distinct
they should auto attack, once for balance, when an enemy gets in melee range like the knee versions did to gut a policeman in the cyberpsycho anime teaser.
would give you a reason to have them as a gun build as another layer of cooldown based melee defense. several cyberware do something similar, but with the katana getting the same jump attack and STILL NO WALL HANGING they don't currently do any unique as a melee weapon
Imagine being such a cuck you defend this garbage
what the frick do you mean? he did criticize autoguns and melee feeling weak
>I'm Level 45 on max difficulty and I feel like a god
Did any of you actually play the game?
Unironically none of the meta actually changed, you're still paper and you'll get mowed down if you're a melee focused even with maxed tech armor/cyberware/edgerunner perks
It was like this in the beginning, because I played in the beginning, and it's like this now.
The only viable build are sniper builds where you hide in a corner and one shot everything, which is why you like it so much
That doesn't make you godly, you just have one strat to follow
>Melee and auto guns feel weak
Yeah no shit sherlock
Netrunning is still cool but sniping is king
The problem is that CDPR never figured out how to properly balance the game, which is why 2.0 is a fricked mess of an update with them taking away armor items and instead all you can do is equip the silly body armor items.
It's dumb
>The only viable build are sniper builds where you hide in a corner and one shot everything
You are so fricking bad there arent even words for it, the game is super easy no matter what you play.
We're talking about the very hard difficulty, you easy-modo shitter.
Intel with overclock kills swarms of guys easily but cant take out a boss because they heal faster than you can deal damage. Its kind of moronic that they regen at all
Thats why you take short circuit and burn hacks with the perk and deck that makes them stack dmg when added together. Buy the crit quickhack cyberware. Just dash in circles around bosses with the new weeb dash perk on mouse4 and spam ur reinforced tendons double jump to traverse at sonic speed. Just wait for the boss to burn and ur ram to regen.
>you're still paper and you'll get mowed down if you're a melee focused even with maxed tech armor/cyberware/edgerunner perks
I literally just completed the game as Melee on Very Hard with nothing but my Shovel.
The game is fricking easy. You're just fricking bad.
>you're paper
Your not. I have over 1k Armor. I regenerate more HP than damage I take.
Game is boring and easy.
>MUH META
Stopped reading there. It's a single player FPS you moronic fricking meta slave zoomer.
holy shit how can one be such a bad player
the main downside of Cyberpunk for me was that EVERY single build was too op so after some levels you became god and combat became boring - machine guns, throwing knives, stealth, sniping, hacking, electromagnetic weapons, unarmed, melee. Frick i even did Grenade run.
bro your 3 charge blood pump? your 1000+ armor? your sandevistan? your infinite dashes that increase your mitigation? your 50% healing finishers?
>Unironically none of the meta actually changed, you're still paper and you'll get mowed down if you're a melee focused even with maxed tech armor/cyberware/edgerunner perks
What? I did melee in the original and 2.0 and you're literally unstoppable once you get a sandy if you're not moronic.
I've been having an easy ass time just abusing sandevistan.
I got the one that reduces the cooldown for every enemy you kill while using it, so I'll just use it to waltz up to 4 or 5 dudes, use Rebecca's shotgun to point blank them in the head, and then I can get out of jail free practically with the fast ass airdash bunnyhops, and probably not even have to wait before I can use my sandevistan again to effortlessly reload/mop up cause it'll instantly have at least half of its meter after it runs out, and it lets me toggle it on or off at around 30%.
I've tried sniping and it feels like a noob trap.
Sniping only really feels broken if you are using Netrunner build to ping everything, stun them and then Sniping their head through the walls with the Penetrating Sniper. So you end up being immune to everything while killing them.
literally doing pic related
Only drawback is that you didnt beat the game if you used sandevistan
I know, but it's The World, bro. It's too fun.
I think it's more fun to do Sandevistan shit without the Sandevistan. Use CC quickhacks and adrenaline to tank.
Slow time doesn't make me feel fast.
>Slow time doesn't make me feel fast.
It's not supposed to. The coolness with slowing down time is being able to style like crazy on dudes who can't do anything but stand there and let you do whatever you want.
If you want to be fast, get the air dash. Especially get the legendary perk that makes them free.
Then you want the double jump legs, cause then you can use the DJ to like double the distance you travel on ADs cause it'll carry the momentum forward. You almost don't need to bother with cars/bikes anymore, cause you go almost just as frickin fast but with so much more maneuverability. I only use vehicles when I need to like cross the entire map and I'm feeling too lazy to keep spamming all those buttons that long.
>The coolness with slowing down time is being able to style like crazy on dudes who can't do anything but stand there and let you do whatever you want.
Just do the same shit at full speed its more fun.
>noob trap
Agreed, it's not like the Far Cry games where it's objectively the most viable option 90% of the time, here you have a good (but not great) number of build options that allow you to feel powerful without also being a glass cannon
>you're still paper and you'll get mowed down
kekekekeekekek
>The only viable build are sniper builds where you hide in a corner and one shot everything
Holy FRICK you are bad. Webm related is me at like level 20.
>Inhaler animation
Must be before 2.0, they got rid of that.
No they didn't moron.
There's a cyberpiece that replaces it and has no animation, you have to buy it.
But this is 2.0. I recorded this 3 days ago.
The smart ones are.
That animation is before 2.0 scrub
Come back try again
>doesn't play games
>tries to tell other people what's in them
Find a tall building and jump off
't play games
to tell other people what's in them
average Ganker user.jpg
Different healing items use different animations, as multiple people have said
What's it like being a moron?
Like I said come back when you actually played the game scrub
Okay, what now?
Another one. Not my finest job, but it is what it is.
Dammit, I forgot the clip.
>doubling down
>on an anonymous forum
yeah i can imagine it would be a bit hard if you had just the injector lol
>You're bad
>Posts gameplay before 2.0
Lol scrub
You are a fricking idiot, anon. Don't ever fricking get the mod that turns the game into actual difficult bullshit seeing how you think V is paper.
>you're still paper and you'll get mowed down if you're a melee focused even with maxed tech armor/cyberware/edgerunner perks
Youre moronic. I liteally dont even have to move while enimes shoot me.
t. katana throwing knives
literally just beat the game with melee and handguns on very hard, sun ending. Beat Adam Smasher to death with Berserk and Gorilla arms. Unironically, get gud
>they took away armor on my hat and shoes reeeee
>a bad thing
>level scaling sucks because
you didn't play the game ever apparently. The old balance everything outside of Watson you had to avoid until you got to lv~30 through grind and the "borg frickers" of malestrom were perpetual lv1 jobbers while random hispanics were lv50 red skull enemies(... because ok?!)
They changed XP payout to the point almost every combat encounter you'll get a skill upgrade, perk point, or level and you can get you build fully species out in less than 8 hours. The problem left in the game is the plot and now the DLC moviegame.
I mean the old system, i always missunderstand when they say level scale with no autolevel or autoleve in my own fricked up context of understanding
then you'll be surprised they actually fixed it from the perspective of your progression coming from gear and cyberware/perk mechanics. You can drive down to Pacifica at the start of act2 and slot floppies without shoeless haitians all being "skull" enemies. Now hard marked enemies are hard (heavy machiengunners and sandevistan spammers mainly), not higher level because you aren't supposed to be there yet. Opens up the city a lot. Dogtown shits on all that though and it's pretty annoying what it does to the "world" that there is a thousands strong private army a block from the 20 whole super scary we wuz hackers an sheeit.
you're dogshit and/or your build is dogshit if you think melee is bad. I'm pure melee with pistols, and I basically only use pistols to gimp myself. Melee, at least blades, is completely busted. You can have permanent sandevistan now basically for even more icing.
Max out tech ability. You can't die if you have even somehwat of a brain.
I am playing in Very Hard always, and the game is easy as frick with any build.
pffft imagine being 7 and trying to milk modern garbage games the game is over by level 20 moron
>lvl 50
>use a moronic hand launcher/thrown knives build
>every enemy dies from a headshot or if I hit body the poison kills them in a second
>apogee sandy for any tougher encounter
>You will, after 25 and up
thats a lie.
a t4 weapon with no skill investment is more than enough to clear the entire game and trivialize bosses.
The game is over by level 30 unless you do absolutely every side Gig available.
Black person what, you get more exp by having higher difficulty, you play on easy or something?
lmao you bethesda jeets can barely run starfield, what makes you think that we'll believe you can play cyberpunk?
Just like real life
Im 38 atm and still not feeling it. On hard im still absolutely massacring everything.
Playing on hardest difficulty and the only way you get weaker from leveling up is if you never upgrade/replace your weapons, don't apply the attribute points/perk points and don't apply any cyberware whatsoever.
Even then you could probably get away with stealth.
If you actually use the tools you get you will be an untouchable god.
>throw a grenade
>activate sandy
>activate blood pump
>slice through 5 bar enemies like butter
its that easy
>Level 28
>Me and and my smart submachinegun can solo an entire area
You suck thats all
>Falling for the bait
I'm playing on very hard and I'm a freaking time god at 47.
Hit level 43 today, feel better than ever. If you like shotties, go grab yourself the Headsman print from the car factory. That shit is amazing, literal rifle range on a shottie.
about to hit 25 and the dread simply does not go away for one second
running out of distractions
>it gets worse later, trust me bro
Is this better or worse than the opposite?
>Hit 31
>Actually feel stronger because I've eaten better and worked out more
Skill issue
I am 54 and nothing can kill me. Even if it does, I resurrect to full health. The only way to kill me is insane burst damage doing all my health twice in 3 minutes. None of the enemies have that amount of damage output.
I do miss pre-2.0 where I just oneshotted every mother fricker and I was basically a T-800.
I'm level 56 and I'm nearly unkillable on the hardest difficulty while being able to 1-shot most enemies and 2-shot the rest.
I'm level 37 and 1 tapping everything with a purple sawed off shotty on very hard, maybe if you bothered to read the perk descriptions instead of coming here to complain you wouldn't be struggling so much.
well youre speccing for combat, obviously the game will become piss easy and you 1 shot everything. the combat is completely irrelevant to the game which is nothing but a cutscene simulator
you can run netrunner and never pick up a weapon or stealth and just skip combat altogether wtf are you talking about, you run whatever build is more fun for you.
i didn't use my skill points for 15 levels and im melting everything with smart weapons
oblivion
Tower of Fantasy solved this by letting you use a slider for enemy levels.
So have they added all the content they advertised during development yet? If not how are people justifying paying for a DLC when the base game is still incomplete?
>So have they added all the content they advertised during development yet?
of course not. they promised more than they could ever deliver. NMS and starfield did the same.
>NMS
NMS has delivered on everything they promised by now though.
That's not true and there's a pic to prove.
Already been posted...
I just don't have it right now.
Absolutely not. NMS was and still is soulless trash.
Im having fun on it. 500 hrs
>pay
>he doesn't know
I didn't buy the DLC, but it's really fun.
Skill issue
Are you joking?
The game is significantly easier. On Very Hard, I have to severely limit myself. It's boring as frick. I literally walk into areas with nothing but my hammer and practically kill everything in seconds and never take any damage.
And it's been like this since level.... 10ish. Pure Body. I only have that Sword equipped for it's appearance. I don't use guns. I just throw corpses at people.
Holy shit you can use a shovel
It's a hidden Iconic Hammer. You find it near the end game, but you can glitch your way into the area and pick it up earlier.
It's honestly not the best Blunt Weapon, in fact, I'd say it's pretty shit due to how slow it is and how slow it makes you. But it makes a CLANG noise, which reminds me of Guts, so I like it. And it's a reference to Witcher 3.
Pic related is my main weapon. Pick up corpse, throw it at someone with the force of a freight train, watch them explode into puddles of gore then pick them up and repeat the process.
You're a liar and a shill
Your game sucks
I don't even like the game, in fact, I pirated it. My issue with it is exactly because IT'S EASY AND BORING. Combat is dull and uninspired. AI is terrible, no one reacts to anything.
The only thing good about it is it looks nice and some of the women make my pee pee hard.
Keep coping about your lack of skill though.
Your game still sucks and it's unbalanced as hell
Level scaling blows
Cope
yeah, I noticed
I have 0 points in technical ability, what a way to frick me over
I wont remake though, I am on the last quest of the main quest, I was finishing up the Kerry questline and was about to end the game before the update hit
Level Scaling sucks because it makes the game too easy. But ultimately, yes, I agree. The game sucks.
Level scaling was pathetic content grindlock with chicanos surviving even explosive cause you go too south and zones were they overlevel you
>I literally walk into areas with nothing but my hammer and practically kill everything in seconds and never take any damage.
You would get destroyed on Very Hard
I am on Very Hard, you fricking idiot. I already said as much. Completed the game too. Posted my character above. The guy with the shovel.
>I am on very hard
>Please believe me
>Look at my screenshot
>Isn't even wearing body armor
Just because you're shit, doesn't mean everyone is.
Skill issue.
The pathetic cope of dekinais that only pretend on the interwebs.
skill issue
I played and beat the game on very hard for real and you're full of shit
cope
skill issue
cope
i mean maybe with blood pump, adrenaline, and sand you can dip in and out for quick kills but it feels like on vh you kind of get mulched trying to melee anything. i'm not calling you a liar but i myself found that really challenging.
>The game is significantly easier
>Look at me I play on Very Hard with my eyes closed!
Why must every thread about balance must have some insufferable homosexual telling us that it's too easy even on the hardest setting?
Congrats you're good at a video game
Kek
Chads who are playing on very hard already know that the game is not herder. Just more bullshit and serious. Enemies can 3-4 shots you even with 1000+ armors , imagine an army shooting at you. You can't even pass never fade away mission on very hard
because during the car chase sequence you are already half down and you aren't even playing your build. The best way to do very hard now is to strategize and make an overpower build since they force all enemies to be on the same level as you so now everything's a threat even the weakest one.
Mean while people playing on hard can just be a tank and not do anything and still win.
The game made you invincible during main quest before the heist moron. You can stand still and nobody can damage you. Maybe try that? Happened to me on very hard.
>shovel
>hammer
I kneel
unlive Ganker i actually play the games i talk about. the shovel youre using is called the caretakers spade (witcher 3 reference) and is literally a joke weapon designed to be op. you finish every fight with full health because its ability is that it heals you to full after every kill. cant fool me anon
im playing hackerman with smart weapons and i can kill shit quite fast but i can get killed fast too
so its fine by me
So, dudes, just came back to the game
And I noticed that the update straight up stole some of my chrome, my gliding legs no longer exist
What the frick is this about?
It's highly suggested you remake. 2.0 changes so much, your save is basically corrupted.
It stole a lot of my Iconic weapons, so im waiting for cyber engine tweaks to update so i can just mod in all the ones it stole from me.
Most core mods got updated already. Cyber engine tweaks too.
Just to be sure, a non-combat build is not viable in this game, right?
I am thinking non-combat New Vegas like.
>he thinks CDPR can make an actual RPG that allows this
Sorry bud, you're outta luck with these guys.
CDPR has gone to great lengths into redacting anything that called this an RPG. In fact, you won't find them calling it as one anywhere anymore.
>frick up your build
>get punished for it
dspwooooooow.avif
Sounds like you are choosing a shit mix of skills. They don't help you if you don't make use of them in combat.
What's the old skill tree like? Any pic floating around?
Level 42 now and I still feel pretty strong.
man, frick off dude
i no longer have skills or cyberware
perk points are useless because I lack stat points and I am already an endgame level
frick this garbage ass update
Sounds like a skill issue
I dunno when I played this game a year ago my stealth revolver built felt completely busted from a certain point in the game til the end. Did they change it that much with the patch?
you can no longer put silencers on revolvers because they hate fun
>new moronic edgy ending says that surgery left you too weak to use any implants when nothing leading up to the ending has behaved consistent with that conclusion in the slightest.
no, but seriously, why on earth did I lose several hundred thousands worth of cyberware once the update hit?
its not that I cant equip it, it isnt in my inventory or in my slots
>they tell you to start a new game due to how many changes there are
>moron ignores it anyway
I have 50 hours on this save and am nearly done
How am I at fault for them shipping the update slightly before I am done?
Don't update then?
i didnt click update, steam did it for me
Then turn off auto update? Read updates before they begin?
steam doesn't let you launch the game without updating, shill-kun
Just don't launch from steam then and turn off updates. Run the exe.
It's a DRM-free game, you don't need to run Steam to play it.
You can also download the v1.6 version on Steam, this separated download won't get new updates even if you forget to disable auto-updates.
>steamBlack folk are fricking morons
Wow I'm shocked.
>tell you so much has changed that you need a new save
>you still update the game anyway
lol lmao
literal braindead moron here
>no, but seriously, why on earth did I lose several hundred thousands worth of cyberware once the update hit?
Skill issue. I thought I lost my stuff too then I went to Vik and did that ripperdoc quest that pops up when you load your save and it was all there again.
>anons unironically think late-game combat is harder now
only happens on very hard, that difficulty is broken in general, the johnny car chase is impossible to do because you can't output dps fast enough before you get killed
>level up
>can no longer force open doors
Works on my machine.
I'm running and gunning with my smart shotgun ( sounds ridiculous and I love it ) and smg and netrunning on those homies at the same time and it never gets old
Sounds like WoW level scaling.
>Sandevistan activate
>Throwing weapons into everyone's heads before they can even fight back
>Anytime I don't want to do that I overclock projectile launcher and emp spam with Yinglong
Literal skill issue, the game is way too easy
is Sandevistan specific to any particular build or can everyone use it?
Script kiddie builds can't since it replaces the cyberdeck
cool, I was thinking about swords or guns anyway
Wait - there are people who complain about the difficulty of Cyberpunk? That game is laughably easy and the level scaling homosexualry only made it easier.
Hahahahaha fricking morons
that's because builds now are very item dependent
you not only need perks but need the right iconic weapons and augmentations
I use Saburo's Sword and Dagger which let's me heal in combat and chrome parts that give me bonuses on kill
I really really wish the sandy shit wasnt so time warping would've been just fine with it being a mitigation chance/strength buff
..? There's berserk mode chrome that does exactly what you said
no thanks cyberware capacity OS is for me
>Level up
>Feel weaker
Even if you put all your perk points in Cool perks and then try to go Rambo with an T1 assault rifle you will still be able to clear encounters just fine because this game is baby mode even on the hardest difficult setting.
game stopped being hard around lvl 15 when I got a decent sandevistan and the scalpel, later replaced with byakko
>byakko
its kinda funny how its still the best katana even if others get 100% crit chance in some situations
>uses cheat cybermods
>complains game is easy
aren't all the cybernetics in that slot cheating? you either get invincibility or the ability to kill everyone in the building after you see one enemy
I tried the delemain quest and it said i needed 13 intel to fuse all the personalities. I reloaded, leveled up, put intel to 13 and did it again and it then said i needed 14. Fricking bullshit
my lvl 50+ character needed 20
I guess level scaling affects skill checks too
most doors need 20 tech or str for me now
>Make bait thread pointing out level scaling
>All the tryhards come out of the woodwork
>It's too easy
Every time
Literally retail World of Warcraft
Shouldn't a game get harder when you progress in it instead of easier?
just started playing this again, last I played this was 1.1 or 1.2 years back I think.
anyone's got any tips for what to do first?
any main/side quests i should/shouldn't do first?
I know there are some quests that rely on you having statted up somewhat, so knowledge of side gigs that give me xp to level up and stat up would be appreciated too
throwing knife build is zzz mode way too easy if youre looking for something to bum rush the DLC or the main game for that matter
doesnt actually happen
the only games where it could, is if you spend upgrade points on non-combat stuff, but then you yourself are to blame
Its like people complaining they cant hit mudcrab in Morrowind with a sword, when they have 0 points in skill
normieBlack folk who cannot into a build and then complain the game got too hard need the rope
Eh, I've been finding it pretty easy so far on "Very Hard"
I'm playing a STR build. It's honestly pretty boring. I throw grenades, then use the charging ability to knock people over then slam ontop of anyone left alive. If people are, I simply throw more grenades or pick up corpses and throw those at people.
Regen is utterly ridiculous. With the Body Regen perk and every single bit of Cyberware giving Regen % and Regen Upgrades, I can pretty much stand still and never die.
It's not actual immortality because everynow and again, some random person will hit me for a large chunk of my health out of nowhere, but It's still absurd enough that I've never died despite doing nothing but charging.
I think this game isn't for me. I'm struggling to keep myself playing to be honest. Difficulty is part of the reason, no combat situation is fun, but also... It's just kind of... I don't know, bland?
Here's my guy. I got about half way through the game and almost completed the DLC. But I think I'm done. Im basically forcing myself to keep playing.
Oh, I also tried out Swords for a bit but didn't really like it. But with that time slow ability, it definitely made things even easier.
I also really, really dislike V. He's such an annoying homosexual.
It doesn't really get better, melee is way too strong and the whole game kind of falls apart when the player character is so strong the story stops making sense
>axoatl costs 55 capacity
>sandevistan with a built in axoatl + tip costs like 40 capacity
I got both
>get the new ending
>it's yet another (but different!) depression fest
Great, worth waiting three years for. As for level scaling, yeah, leveling up makes skull enemies more and more fat, but the add-on gives you some bullshit toys to counterbalance it. Base game doesn't though.
Is it just me or are smart weapons fricking awful
They're kinda broken at least if you get a good smart pistol or smart double barrel shotgun. Seeing every shotgun bullet just u turn curve into a headshot is not only hilarious but does stupid amounts of damage.
I just installed the game, do I miss anything if I do body/tech over intelligence/cool?
Story wise? No. Everything is so streamlined you can't miss anything. World / Exploration wise? No everything is doable by everyone. If you do miss something, it's because you chose the wrong path or didn't explore and it has nothing to do with builds.
Game is first and foremost an action game. It has no real RPG mechanics other than the very, very barebones and simplistic stat system.
your fixer will get mad at you for failing the optional stealth stuff
You don't need cool to stealth missions bro.
You can max out 3 attributes, I'd recommend adding reflex for mobility.
Dashes feel almost mandatory
I did intel / tech and a bit of cool. Its alright. Overclock feels great to burst a big guy down queuing up 4 quickhacks onto them at once.
All the tech stuff i did was to pump up cyberware and i avoided the tech weapon stuff.
No. I'd also suggest getting Reflex though. Dashes are utterly broken in both power and how fluid that make the game feel. Trying to play anything else after dashing everywhere makes the game feel slow and shit.
Just bee yourself it's all good enough.
Do Cool -> Intel -> Body
Intelligence gives a bit of money money, a few shortcuts every now and then and some optional dialogue choices, Cool is mostly used in optional dialogue options. Most of the useful skill checks are based on Tech, and Body can open the few doors that can't be accessed by Tech skill checks.
You still can hack in combat, use stealth and takedowns (so your fixer won't complain about you being a gorilla), and use revolvers/snipers/knives/etc even with 3 on int/cool, you will just miss out on cool gimmicks like time slow while aiming with a revolver and quickhack stacking.
Do cool dialogue checks actually matter?
If you want to disarm people in conversations where they have a gun in your face yes. Also some of them give hilarious options.
Yeah but does the outcome change? I guess I could go cool but I thought it was some kind of stealth archer shit
I just wanna blast and slash homies, if I want hacking or stealth I'll reinstall MD
>does the outcome change?
Off the top of my head I think the only stat-based dialogue option that really adds a new outcome to a quest (in the base game, I'm still playing the DLC) is the Intelligence check from the final Delamain sidequest, but it's not the usual case of "skill check is objectively the best option".
I believe you also get an intelligence option in the Killing in the name quest. It gives you another ending to it.
you`ll miss fun
The main downside of Cyberpunk is combat that was just boring, but now they fixed somewhat by adding more active abilities. So the more stuff you can use gameplay and ability wise - the more fun to play.
Intellegence should be at least at 6 - since even without specing into it, hacks will help you a lot and are fun to use.
As for Cool, in opposite its nerfed and now only need to spec if go sniper or stealth. Where you dont actually need to spec for stealth really since it works by default, and you can even effectively throw knives without single point in Cool now.
Body is good choice - it has cool abilities, but tech is not fit for it, since Tech is mainly for Electromagnetic guns now. I`d go Body+Reflex if you plan melee or artive movement.
>Intellegence should be at least at 6
For what purpose? 6 gives you literally nothing over 4 int.
hacking access points, which gives money/script components and scripts themselves
>wasting stat points for the optional 500 eddies and chance of a new hack here and there
Just kill some random gonk and sell his weapon for 4 times the payout. Buy the hacks.
>not using meager 3 stat points to not lock yourself out of actual gameplay element making you do stuff, as if the game wasnt shallow as it is
I rather use those 3 points to unlock actual useful abilities instead of a fricking minigame.
Using those three stat points to get Reflexes to 15 faster and unlock air dashes is far more useful.
INT 6 isn't enough to deal with most access points and these things are worthless if you aren't a full-on netrunner. Use the rest of your points to punch doors with Body or magically open them with Tech, or say some funny shit with Cool.
Well, true - especially if it scales with levels. That said, the game level cap is lvl50 (+skillpoints from profficiencies) now and you level lot faster, while also requiring in general only 1 tree from each stat, so theres lots of points to spare.
Level cap is 60 with the DLC.
Unfortunately you will find most of these skill checks before you get to level 50, unless you decide you grind minor gigs and NCPD stuff all the way to level cap before doing sidequests.
It's better to prioritize perk unlocking (getting main stats to 20) than making a build based around skill checks, because eventually you will do the Delamain questline and realize all your "spare points" used to deal with just skill checks were pointless.
I'm fairly sure access points scale with your level because I don't remember the last time I saw a access point below level 9, and if you need quickhack stuff you can find everything you need in dogtown's shop.
Free stuff is nice but if you aren't making a netrunner build there is no point in getting anything other than INT 4 and maybe the RAM recharge perk.
that's because the morons at cdpr made it so that the game doesn't actually display the correct stat requirement if you're already over the requirement for the check. it just displays whatever your current stat level is. there's actually a mod whose entire purpose is to display the correct stat requirement for skill checks.
>it just displays whatever your current stat level is
That's wrong. I'm sitting at 15 int and Dogtown access points show 9 required int.
>Tech is mainly for Electromagnetic guns now
What? That's a fricking lie. The tech weapons, in face, are the smallest tree you goober.
yeah and upgrading grenade/medkits is useless unless you are handicapped and implant upgrades are nice, but not primarily focus.
implant upgrades are huge
build issue
>Pre-2.0
>Everything is like a pinata until like lvl 25+
>Post-2.0
>Everything dies like they would IRL
2.0 is vastly superior.
It's the complete opposite, I'm level 52 playing on hard and I'm cruising through the game. I'd consider raising the difficulty to very hard, but I don't like changing difficulty mid run.
I'm already at cap on max difficulty, shotguns are an issue for melee builds cause you get one tapped without the highest armor skeleton cyberware. They all hit like trucks, literally doesn't matter what model the AI has, but that's the only broken shit I've run into.
I'm using a netrunner build, so I wouldn't know, but don't you get a ton of temporary hitpoints with body traits? That with tech's armor and several cyberware and I honestly don't see how you'd get 1 shot. I have like 10 body and can still survive a shotgun to the chest.
Temp health isn't the problem since the damage is like getting sniped, it's that you need super high mitigation or armor to not insta die.
homie just deflect the bullets.
I used a level scaling mod anyways in 1.6, having the world being populated by grey enemies is fricking moronic. This isn't like a hub based CRPG where areas stay cleared and xp is finite. I also fricking hated how I couldn't go to certain parts of the city until I grinded up in levels. The game is unironically better with level scaling and at lvl 40 I'm still one shotting everything with throwing knives, so I don't know OP, maybe you're just bad at video games.
I'm 25 hours in and I don't know what level I am. Who cares.
is it decent now? I bought it on release and refunded it after I beat it on Gog. was debating on switching my vpn region to russia and buying it again for like 40% off on gog

OOH OOH AH AH

This guy's videos are so good. It's Benjamin Withers or some shit, right? Really shows off all the crazy shit you can do in this game.
based apist
be honest bros, does my V look a bit homosexual?
definitely doing kerry/10
When you order Ryan Gosling on Wish
I think people are having different experiences based on their builds. If you invest in Body and get a blood pump, your life becomes substantially easier. So far the only remotely difficult section has been the flashback Silverhand car chase where you take 50% before you even pull your gun out, and have to headshot 3 passengers in 3 seconds or you die.
When do I start getting sniper rifles? I'm going a sniper/pistol netrunner build but have yet to find a sniper
Try killing snipers or visiting a gunshop
If you do the police thingo just to the right of the hospital there's a guy who will drop a tech sniper rifle. You might need to savescum if you're low level to get it to not disintegrate.
Smart snipers appear to no longer exist though I'm like level 38 or something and haven't seen even one.
>Smart snipers appear to no longer exist though I'm like level 38 or something and haven't seen even one.
I have seen a few and i am not even lvl 38
I don't like him nearly as much as Tech snipers myself though.
The game is both easy and hard. It seems random. One part the AI is dumb as shit and gives you a easy victory then you reload the file and suddenly they are kicking your ass and know how to maneuver. It almost feels like AI behavior is bugged.
im guessing it just doesn't know how to react to the player teleporting around the place
>do every gig
>wipe out groups of 20 gangbangers and arasaka soldiers by myself dozens of times
>I would have 500 street cred if not for the cap
>tier 5++ cybernetic in every slot
>strong enough to take on 5 or more adam smashers at the same time
>people are still threatening me
>use a hack
>it kills enemy
>level up
>use the same hack on similar enemy
>10% hp left
Fun! Anyway, is there a way to use quickhacks without being detected all the time? I remember reading something, about pre hacks that would lower detection chance, but the only one that I though would work like that does nothing. Is there a way to interrupt enemy hacker, without killing him? Running away like moron until I'm out of range is not the way I'd like to resolve this.
Reboot optics will reset traces if the netrunner is bouncing off people. You can also wipe/reboot > sonic to knock people uncon and also kill the trace if you're stealthing.
hacking is even more op than it was before
hacks can crit (even DOTs), you can basically instasend scripts, have RAGE mode, preloading etc.
As for not being detected - kill quickly. For example Disable optics - Shortciquit - Shortcirquiit preload
Or when you start getting detected just kill the hacked by sending him a few scripts back
Wait till you turn 30.
>make tech shotgun cyberpsycho build
>had absolutely no idea first phantom liberty weapon is a tech shotgun
>lvl 38
>turn enemies into goo
>keep getting stronger
>level 6 with basically no implants on very hard
>using pistols
when the frick does this get easier? I need to do multiple headshots in a row to kill anyone quick
Cool perks + silencer and never enter combat mode.
Use throwing knives. Hit in a head instakills most enemies and you do not enter combat if it wasnt seen.
Pistols suck until you get the perks. Use shotguns in point blank. You are not limited by your build - use whatever weapon is best for situation.
Pistols suck until you get one of the good revolvers and then it's just blap blap blap get dead
Why ever use pistol when you have sniper/precision rifles?
I use Cripple Movement on enemy and then just headshot them safely when he stands still and out of cover
Pistols are way faster and you get some good AOE damage with some of them.
That doesn't sound very fun at all. You can counter cover by dashing in behind it and you can headshot people without cripple movement.
I tried RunNGun builds of all kinds before, and it only fun in begining - since all you do essentially just click heads over and over and over. It becomes boring with snipers, pistols, machine guns etc.
The key for fun is differentiating your abilities. i.e. - throw some quick hacks, grenade, headshot an enemy while approaching and then cut others with mantis blades or monowire etc.
I also love Smartguns now over others, since they are weaker and require actual additional action of locking on enemies - but shooting around corners and obstacles is more fun than plain deleting enemies head on.
Electromagnetics on other hand suck - its just too boring shooting through walls.
>Why ever use pistol
thats a grenade launcher tho
It counts as pistol/revolver
i could use smart gun and headshot all 3 of those in one shot
>3
That's a group of 9
Throwing knives only work if you keep getting better knives to throw
I can't tell you how many fricking times i've domed some shitter with knife just to have them survive with 2-5% left.
You can pick up a very good iconic knife off of Saburo's body right at the beginning of the game now
Is there no way to get an ending with Judy in the DLC? I'm not getting NTRed so I will unironically not buy PL if there's no way around it
no, the new ending is contrived misery porn.
guess I'll just halt my playthrough now then
been enjoying the game but I'm not getting invested in a story with a miserable ending
Yeah, I did the exact same. It has so many plot holes just to make it as sad as possible to make it "cyberpunk".
it's a shame, the writing wasn't that great to begin with but it was no worse than all the other AAA slop out now, not even a happy ending but at least an ending where you get to keep your waifu/husbando even with the loss of all else would still be in line without being excessively bleak for the sake of it
Yeah, makes no sense. Losing your legend and power in exchange for your life and your friends would make sense. However, since it's cyberpunk you have to lose everything, including all your friends who move on or hate you (and nobody is informed that you were in a coma.)
>(and nobody is informed that you were in a coma.)
that's the stupidest part to me
sending a text or making a call is the difference between
>oh you had surgery to remove the chip that's been plaguing you since we met and then slipped into a coma for two years
and
>oh you vanished for two years
thats because you are not just getting an operation, you are a part of NUSA coverup of the president blackwall frickery.
That doesn't really matter since V can call up all the love interests and tell them that he's working with the NUSA because there's a lead on a cure.
Frick off the writing is the absolute best part of cyberpunk 2077 and tops every single game released in the last 20 years. Except maybe Disco Elysium.
it has it's moments but the actual core story is just a spin on the incurable (except for the one cure) disease trope
No, he`s right. But 99% of players dont actuall know REAL Cyberpunk story.
Its not about what you went through in main campaign. Its about bigger conspiracy with Night Corp, Alt Cunningham etc.
It seems they were planning for more DLC/sequels - so while the story is very well present in current game, player is not pointed towards it and has to realize all clues and events by themselves.
For starter - V you play, from begining is remotely controlled ever since you got a virus saving the women in first mission.
But if the overarching themes of capitalism and corporatization are the focus, why waste an entire game's plotline drawing you into a specific character's story?
the theme is V was a tool from begining, it was never a story about him. But i assume they wanted to explore bigger story later - thats why the Space Casino ending, but abandoned it all and instead decided make Cyberpunk 2 on EU5 which basically has no relation to current and will be done by other (canadian?) substudio.
The whole game is about identity and agency. The >muh capitalism stuff is all setting or specific characters' hangups.
Best ending of PL doesn't give you access to the new ending anyway.
>rarity scales with level
>armor does nothing
not like the game was an rpg before but now its a bunch of nothing.
This game would blow if armour scaled as hard as damage does. If anything it needs to be more lethal than it is.
Mantis blades used to suck dick before the udate, but now they are pure sex
Frick that looks like fun. Maybe I'll respec from my throwing knives build.
Mantis Blades are basically a worse Katana, until you get to PL and unlock the Relic Tree and after that they take off like a fricking rocket.
melee is still the most boring playstyle imo
Black person Reed wont call me back. Quest is bugged and I am stuck unable to progress. This fricking game is a piece of shit.
You have to wait two days if it isn't the telephone call.
ive waited for a lot longer than 2 days. others are having this issue too with no workaround found yet.
The scene as Johnny where you're shooting out of a car is impossible on Very Hard.
>inb4 skill issue
Show me a single person doing it in 2.0 without being extremely overleveled
>press tab
>send Disable Opticks quickack at enemy
>The scene as Johnny where you're shooting out of a car is impossible on Very Hard.
Yeah, I had to reduce the difficulty after like the 10th try. Shit, I even had times where I immediately managed to headshot the first two Saka ninjas with the ARs and then the third one kills me before I can get a third shot out. That section is very blatantly not tested.
You're playing as Johnny in there, you don't have shit except your pistol.
skill issue, got caught out first time and died quickly, 2nd time bothered aiming for the heads and everything went fine.
>proof
Why the frick would I have recorded something so unremarkable
>obviously lying
>no proof
Good morning sir!
>coping
>obviously seething
>his chair has already dilated him
I thought this was gonna be a thread about aging...
do the player still hold his arms when unarmed like he is saying "please dont hurt me"? that bothered me
didnt even think about that, damn
Enemies are literally the same the entire way through, are you forgetting to upgrade your weapons or something?
Do you still have to invest points into crafting to get the absolute best gear? God I fricking hate talent trees with crafting shit.
no, instead you have to invest into tech to get the absolute best out of your cyberware.
I fricking hate how tech is now a mandatory stat just because they wanted to gatekeep going full borg.
>Still oneshot everything with Knife Sandevistan build
Game is still piss easy as frick.
>level up
>have to fight stronger enemies now
Wtf??? I thought the game would get easier
what happens if I have sex with kerry and am already in a relationship with pam?
I dont give a shit about the characters, just curious
im straight btw
You bottom for Kerry (confirmed by Johnny in the apartment after), so you're bisexual, buddy.
they updated the UI so when you uploaded something it wouldnt say "enemy upload in progress" now it looks different and says "warning-detected" as if youve been spotted after a quick hack
Reddit isnt here choom.
>unironically saying choom
have a nice day nerd.
get a load of this gonk
not all all preem, not at all
frick throwing weapons. there should have been a dual wielding tree in cool instead
But for real though, why can't I fricking dual wield pistols, and maybe SMGs.
Yeah that'd be sick.
>VH
>lv 40
>max cool, tech, and almost done w body
>shit ton of augmentations
>pic rel
Lmao same, only I'm not using his jacket.
Currently using a sick corpo outfit i found
I prefer tacticool stuff myself, though I do also have the corpo origin.
Are fist/blunt weapons any good now? I never finished the game when it first came out because I ended up hating my build. My tanky brawler guy ended up being a pussy who had to sneak around everywhere because my defensive perks didn't do shit. And my gorilla arms were weaker than a baseball bat. Maybe that changed later in the game but I stopped because I was disappointed.
I don't know right now but last I played in 1.6, using my gorilla arms pretty much instakilled everyone.
Yes, melee/unarmed is a lot of fun now. Strong, too.
Fist/blunt has been arguably the strongest build for most of the game
What do you mean?, once I got the right augs and weapons for my build the game turned into a joke, even playing on hard, every encounter ends in seconds. And im not even using some OP katana/sandevistan shit.
Can't relate.
That relic perk is such a game changer in terms of making shooting more fun since you don't always want to aim for the head all the time now - such a simple idea but really adds a lot to the gunplay, especially when you can get 5 stacks of it so every enemy gets highlighted
This Bolt stuff for Tech weapons is a total meme, isn't it? This whole "Charge the weapons but not completely" gimmick feels like shit, and I can never even tell for sure if I'm really getting those Bolts.
You get a nice little noise to tell you it's ready.
The game still has the moronic hold the charge shot infinetly as a perk
Yeah what the frick is up with that? Why would anyone ever pick that?
to aim m8
tech weapons being so heavily nerfed there just isn't a point to using them. The nekomata with a tech build and ping was the win button for the first dozen patches until they utterly ruined it. You could stand outside a building and shoot everyone inside. instead of ruining playstyles they could have just made enemies WITH tech weapons actually aggressively shoot you through cover and countersnipe at you shooting them through walls. but that of course would have been hard
More funny looks like they make the game crash on purpose every time i snipe a headshot with the penetration charge
I'm noticing that with Q slam attacks, F melee finishers, and reflective damage cyberware. Too much shit happens under the hood and hard CTD out of nowhere. Common thread is particle effects/animations having to trigger.
I was one shotting everything outside of cyberpsychos with the dlc tech rifle
>Pull a trigger
> Exhaust your stamina
Well yeah, noguns, controlling the recoil of a gun takes effort, more so as the caliber gets larger.
can't V's robot arms handle it?
the stamina is a new feature and makes it so that for as long as you have stamina you have pinpoint accuracy.
running out of stamina just means the guns are like they were before the 2.0 update.
it does not stop you from using them. it just gives you increadibly accuracy for as long as you have stamina.
>Be Jedi-Mindtricker
>Contagion Tier 5
>Netwatch Deck level 5
>TRACING TRACING TRACING!!!!
>*Everyone dies*
>TRACE FAILED
Not my problem.
anon.
>use the cyberdeck that has increased range for spreading hacks
>turn on overclock
>use t5 contagion
>then use t1 combust
>explode everything in a 5 mile radius instantly
Why do that when the Netdeck does the same without needing spread?
>Contagion x 2 enemie groups
>Overclock with 400 HP
>Contagion another group
>Overheat first group's contagion
>Contagion Overheater again
>Repeat
>Everyone dead
People b***hing about using Jedimindtricks and having to build around it are stupid. It's still Overpowered as frick and basically makes the game trivial still. You just can't (until you perk into it) "hack" through walls anymore.
Weird, I don't have that Cyberware and don't have the inhaler. I figured the meme about the inhaler caused them second hand embarrassment and got rid of it.
There's three healing potions
The inhaler which is an instant burst heal
The injector which is a heal over time
And the cyberware which is both and has no animation, which is deliberate because it's supposed to be better, no animation = quicker to use
Tell me more about Contagion. I've never considered using it. I use the Tetratronic deck.
broes... i'm gonna do it, i'm gonna make a fem v corpo and romance river
no homo, of course
what builds can beat maxtach?
i could only take down 1 of them
granted I could have played it better
Genuinely thought those bastards were unkillable.
They have an insane amount of hp/armor.
Like practically 50 to 100x as much as other police have. They seem to do about 3 to 4x more damage too, so being mobile/using the environment is a basically a must to take them on.
melee feels like shit in this game anyway, guns feel decen tho.
Are shotguns good/fun in this?
Well, they can one shot and they dismember, and their whole niche is about making you move as fast as possible - combine that with the plethora of bullet time abilties cyberpunk gives you - yeah they're fun
It feels like we're in 2020 again, Shazam trannies are so mindbroken they have to resort to outright blatant lies
Honestly the embarassing thing about Ganker used to be you were willingly engaging with counter-culture rejects who took games a bit too seriously, now it's much worse - because admitting to browsing Ganker now means you're wasting time talking with actual subhuman ESLs or perpetually stuck in the culture war homosexuals who hate everything that has exisited post 2016
Shame your game still sucks ass lmao get your ass a REAL RPG like New Vegas. :^)
That's level scaling for ya. I absolutely loathe the Saga games because they actively discourage combat despite having random encounters. If you grind you get locked out of quests and enemy Stat values quickly outstrip your equipment.
They LIGHTLY discourage grinding. You can kill everything you normally encounter and be fine. Even if you deliberately grind the benefits still usually outweigh the detriments since you can learn rarer techniques off higher level mobs.
>Got a sniper
>somehow every enemy survive headshot
Why cyberjunk so bullet spongy i can't even use hardcore mod anymore because of shitty update
Unironically skill issue
The game has stats moron, you won't be one shotting people until you learn how RPGs work
>Game has stats moron
>Muh rpg
So my legendary pistol i found from some tough enemy is somehow weaker than some cheapass looking weapon dropped from random goon after 5-10 lv later
Bravo what a game design
You clearly haven't played the game so refrain from commenting on it.
>mmmmmhh polish dick so good yaaaaasss
why does this ESGtroony game have so many god damned shills on this board it's embarassing
It makes me genuinely so happy that you're so mindbroken you will never experience pure joy again in your life
Get fricked, homosexual
Keep sucking off CDPR homosexual. Your game is shit and will ALWAYS be shit because Polish c**ts can't make an actual RPG to save their lives.
No because weapon power is based off quality now and not level
Please actually play the game or shut the frick up, you absolute stupid c**t
>Skill issue
>learn how RPGs work
Wow you are a homosexual LOL
All OP did was point out how moronic level scaling is and you have all the homosexuals coming in here talking about how good they are in a fricking rpg
RPGs are for bad unskilled players
You are bad and unskilled
So is everyone else who brags about how easy this game is
But I think the game is harder after 2.0, it absolutely is for most builds
Level scaling is necessary because either you'll have to use the same plain gear you're using at level 1 at level 60, or once you get to level 60 you'll be essentially playing with godmode on, neither option is fun
The fact is your power increases at a greater rate than enemy power does, especially so if you actually construct a well thought out build - but even if you do that, you want the enemies to pose somewhat of a risk and challenge towards you
All these morons crying about level scaling, just switch the game to easy and shut the frick up
The only real complaint I have is I have done
>All of Judy's missions up to Phantom Liberty
> All of Phantom Liberty
> All of Panam's missions
> All of Regina's Fixer missions
And I'm level 60 - so I've done maybe 30% of the game at most, maybe 40 if you're generous - we really need an xp nerf or just let us level to 80 and get 20 in all skills so we can actually respec whenever we like
i dread replaying the game because of the extended braindance sequences
Phantom Liberty lets you skip the heist and the judy missions up to unlocking phantom liberty, absolutely nothing else is touched but this means you pretty much every braindance level
The only actual levels you miss are the heist itself, infiltrating clouds, rescuing evelyn and going into the GIM - everything else isn't touched at all
>you miss the Iguana Egg and V's Clothes
Not worth it
I had to stop playing this game once i realised all the traffic lights turn green as soon as you approach them no matter what. Immersion ruined.
It's better than it used to be for sure, but that's not saying much.
The upgrades are more interesting, but the combat is still not even up to Skyrim level, mostly because every enemy is the same enemy, and all the enemies are generally uninteresting and barely interactive.
As it was before 2.0, the game is only really fun if you pretend it's Metal Gear Solid, and do an Int build, mainly using stealth.
If you use any silenced weapons or knives, it's already too easy because enemies (despite being linked together as a squad) won't react to a teammate getting killed. If you spec into Cool at all, it becomes impossible to be spotted.
It really is like if you took Skyrim and just went over every single feature to make it just a little bit worse.
Quickhacks are like magic, but unintuitive and visually boring.
Melee combat is worthless unless you're using time warping, and then you're just wailing on enemies that can't move.
Guns do everything except behave like guns, Power guns are to be aimed at the floor or walls, Tech guns shoot behind cover, Smart guns don't need to be aimed. They all have their downsides (except Power, those are just fricked) but the end result with some perks in is that you're barely actually playing with the shooting mechanics.
Before 2.0 if you killed an enemy stealthily not in one hit, they would alert every enemy nearby for no reason even if they don't react visually - stealth was absolutely broken with sandevistan and just didn't work
2.0 actually has made stealth viable and you're complaining about the fact it behaves realistically and you no longer get magically detected by everyone just because you're in the area
Also saying the combat is shallower that Skyrim is just contrarian and stupid, no one actually believes that
>not up to skyrim level
Jesus you're moronic.
Is there any point in reading thousands random text messages? This is a game and not a fricking book.
Yeah the texts people send you are important and usually give you dialogue options
Texts you find randomly are 99% just flavor, though sometimes they're for a mission but the game will tell you that
Are there any "shit" skills that are simply not worth taking or is everything more or less balanced to be useful at least sometimes?
the ones that buff flashbangs and cars
Every build works, plus you can refund skills for free whenever you like so it's not a big deal if you pick something that is shit
You can't change attributes more than once though, so if you're 60 and never really put any into body or reflexes, you're not gonna ever be able to make a good build for those stats on that character
all the vehicle skills seem really bad
>he doesn't pick Stuntjock for Maximum FUN
I think it's funnier to eat shit every time exit a vehicle.
Tech weapon perks are shitty to use, but mostly because of the bolt mechanic rather than the perks themselves.
You really need to enjoy that "hold then release at the right time" gimmick because every build feels "balanced" (you will become a cybergod whether you like it or not) so paying attention to an indicator until you get used to the timing (and there is a separated perk that will mess with your timing) feels kinda stupid compared to doing air dashes and leap attacks or blowing people up with internet magic or being a cyber cowboy or sliding'n'shotgun-blasting etc.
i like
>download Enhanced Bigger Breasts mod
>V is now stacked
>but it's a first person only game and the mod cannot be applied to any NPC, so I never even see the effect
Can't you just look down?
its for photo mode
I miss my Burya firing instantly...
my V
also, is there a way to change colours of vehicles, even if it's a mod?
bought this bike thinking it was gold. the yellow is kinda ugly.
No. It's fricking moronic. Not being able to change weapon skins or car skins in a game like this is the dumbest shit ever.
Does the game have any semi auto pistols that aren't revolvers or heavy pistols? I'm 10 hours in and so far every pistol I haven't found any normal 9mm style semi-automatic pistols, they're all either full auto or slow firing heavy Desert Eagle types.
What about the Militech Lexington
Do you ever find enough fricking mats to actually upgrade most of your Iconics
Not until you are high level enough to dismantle all the dropping legendaries.
It's dumb that junk dealers don't sell materials anymore, they are literally pointless now.
yeah, I wish they kept that, if only because they would still have a reason to exist more then anything
there's gotta be a mod for that somehow already though
homies are still playing this game? Lmfao yall are moronic
>Can't make viable pure hacker build
I hate it
Its shit
is the game finished being patched now? can i mod it without everything breaking tomorrow
Reminder that you're a homosexual for using any sandy that isn't the Warp Dancer. You literally gargle wiener, cum and balls if you use Apogee.
You have a pretty moronic way of expressing opinions.
And you gargle wiener, cum and balls, clearly.
>Massacre the warlord's men after they try to kill me
>Hundreds of them dead in the streets after they start sending patrols after me
>Bald moron has the gall to threaten me again
Why does this shit happen in every game?
Can't believe nu-Ganker has become so b***hmade that they're genuinely complaining Cyberpunk is too hard.
Shooting using stamina is a very strange design choice, what are you supposed to do when your stamina is depleted after 2 shotgun shots? Just wait like a moron?
>Shooting using stamina
wat
we didn't want the player to shoot as quickly so we made the player get tired from shooting
Stamina takes like half a second to go from empty to full. If you're shooting you'll get it back just from reloading. Also having zero stamina doesn't stop you from being able to shoot at all.
You can keep shooting when you're out of stamina, I have no idea if it even affects anything
>I have no idea if it even affects anything
Lowered accuracy and higher recoil as it gets lower. That's why there's skills that make guns no longer use stamina if you're like aiming down sights or something.
It affects accuracy, you can just keep shooting
Level scaling is bad but not because of that. That's normally a skill issue. The real issue is that it makes loot and rewards boring as frick.
>oh boy, the same pistol I was using at lv 5 but now it's lv 50 with higher stats!
ARPGs/MMOshit ruined other RPGs.
Funny how fallout kind of gets this right. A shitty pipe gun is. Ashitty pipe gun at any level, but a plasma rifle will always be good no matter when you get it.
Legendary explosive weapon>>>>
homie, that was the game before the patch. Now weapons are tiered and iconics can be upgraded. Still gay, but less gay, because unlike before you won't find a green better than a blue because you're now lv40 when you picked it up.
ideal is always flat damage for a type of weapon, but that in turn requires ammunition to be a resource and enemies weak enough to shoot with them always spawning. 2077 went in the runner up direction of everything being always easy or always hard. The numbers are vestigial because the weapon slots/special effects are what materially change gameplay.
Good thing I duped every crafting material and bunch of items. Now I dont have to farm like a cuck. So whats a good build for max body, tech, int. Also have like 18 on reflex
>played with the relic effect glitch for over 10 hours straight
>just thought the developers had shit taste and wanted my eyes to bleed
>find out it's a known bug
>now I know they aren't moronic, just incompetent
thank you CDPR for the popped blood vessels
wtf homura would never say this to me
Akemi Homura would never...
AKUMA HOMURA HOWEVER would do it while pegging you and choking you from behind.
There is a mod on Nexus that can fix that, if you don't want to wait for the patch.
Figured that out last night pretty quick, really gotta thank that modder. I was this close to snapping when I read CDPRs "solution"
>likes homura
>is a moron
checks out
>Homura saying this to anyone who hates Madoka
Playing now for the first time and jesus christ man, some creatures in the world really look dystopian.
"Just shrink the adult models bro it'll be fine, they'll look just like kids"
The frick do you think a child is?
Also what the frick is up with these pants? That looks like it would be uncomfortable.
>NPCs gone wild mod still ont updated for 2.0
it's over
>can level up like 3 things
>skills are so all over the place every playstyle has good stuff so you feel gimped no matter what you do
are there any skill checks I should be aware of going into phantom liberty to look out for? I think I saw somebody say if you had high enough body stats the president doesn't get the drop on you. is that true?
yes
Yes, lots of body checks, some cool, intelligence, and Tech checks, few reflex checks.
I will skull frick the shit out of every enemy in game. I can take out a group of 10 before my frickin sandevistan ends. Sounds like a personal problem if you feel weak.
I wish you could get those weird eyes the idol girls have
There are mods for some of that. Not the big ass bug eyes though.
I havent started playing because I cant decide on a build
I just know I want to max cool… because cool sounds cool
cool, intelligence, reflex. become hacker man
ah, man, this is awkward.
I hated that scene. I am a proud Dyke V
Summit if he real
>lv18
>20 str
>maxed blunt weapons perk tree
>blood pump
>berserk
>build finished
>UNGA
>BUNGA
unlike the crippling loss of 250,000 damage criticals from 1.0 to 1.whatever the new total revamp actually works. Sandbox from the start with mechanical progression from cyberware and upgrades instead of numbers go up. The DLC adding a new area with 10x the mechs of arisaka and 16x the girlbosses is the bigger problem. The movie game they made for the DLC is pretty fricking gay.
That's close to the buuld I'm running. Feels great. Gonna make a minimal cyberware build next and just stack as much mitigation as possible. I believe it will be viable but the play style will for sure he completely different.
OP is certified moron or just a great baiter.
I'm at 60 and still feel untouchable on very hard. I'm a netrunner build and even in the hugely nerfed state its in, I can still kill skull enemies in one combat hack on very hard. For bosses and cyberpsychos, just dash away and hack from a distance, nothing can touch you with the OP dash. If you are a melee build, dash in range and sandy/berserk. You have options, and almost any way you build your character you will end up being overpowered even now in 2.0.
Now if OP were complaining about that chimera boss fight, that I would actually understand. That shit was dumb.
>run up
>invincible
>get on top of it
>knocks you off it
>invincible
>run 30 ft down a hallway
>no longer invincible
>can now just shoot it until it dies
Meyers needed to have lost her top to reveal she's a deus ex combat exoskeleton or something. I know everyone with money is 75% robot but watching her dodge roll a metal gear boss in a pantsuit almost made me put down the game. It's looks so fricking moronic, like if hanako had suplexed takimura and 1v1'd smasher to defeat her brother while V watched. Why not at this point if you're going to ignore how borged out your player character has to be to even beat a QuickTime strength check against a 50 year old woman who EXPLICITLY bleeds red blood not white cyberspunk like a combat cyborg would.
Pretty sure she was still wearing heels at the time too, it really is stupid how over the top she was.
>so many poses in photo mode
>but they're all memey garbage
moron.
Doing a Hiro Protagonist netrunner/katana this playthrough.
Can't remember if he was a Black person with chink features or a chink with Black person features.
Pretty sure he's a black weeb, but its been years since I read snow crash so I'm not 100% certain.
Why did no one tell me this was a fricking movie game.
The story is so far entirely linear and filled with "cinematic" set pieces where you just do nothing and watch shit happen. Why even include dialogue options if it all leads to the same thing? Why spend all your time and money on that shit instead of making it an RPG?
Because CDPR can't make an actual RPG to save their lives. They love making linear games disguised as an "RPG". The Witcher games were like this too, despite people sucking off Witcher 3 like its the greatest thing ever.
Witcher isn't a deep RPG but it's at least more upfront about not having a custom player character (Geralt has a set base personality) AND has way more actual choices than this game from what I've played so far.
Frick off CDPR wienergobbler. A fricking Far Cry game has almost all of those.
>Look Mom! I'm learning how to Shitpost!
>Choices
>Sidequests
>Dialouge
>Skill Trees
>Health/Armor/Cyberware Upgrades
>Leveled Loot, enemies, crafting
>Skill checks
It is an RPG
Now kindly have a nice day you worthless fricking mongoloid
Do the choices change anything? Like the world or the characters? 80% of what you listed are in Open World games nowadays. Do you know what an actual RPG looks like?
Keep coping that your game is STILL a shitty scam. Bet you love Witcher 3 too, don't you homosexual? How does it feel knowing your choices in that game amounts to frick all. CDPR will never match the genius of Fallout New Vegas, shit, even Fallout 3 had more choice and freedom.
LMAO the game is fricking easy on Very Hard. I'm using guts and a Sandy, and every enemy is dead before it runs out.
if you actually spec for combat , its piss easy, i didnt spec at all in combat, and still the game became extremely easy so faceroll i bumped up the difficulty to hard.
im starting to spec into combat now that both int and tech are 20, and im probably gonna have to artifically inflate the difficulty even more now that ill have combat skills.
this game and its RPG aspects are a fricking joke, they should have dropped the rpg gimmick and made it an action game instead with the difficulty fine tuned, and choices of dialog only mattering. fricking everything else in thsi game is trash
Sounds like your build sucks because nothing stands a chance against me at level 25+ On the hardest difficulty
Problem with the game is that they reworked shit around the player but never bothered doing anything with the enemies
>game punishes you for leveling up
This really is a eurojank game.
>Cyberware capacity shards are pure RNG
I'm level 55 I straight up may have found like 3 or 4 throughout my hold playthrough.
post augs builds chooms
Do I remember a tech weapon mod that changes the behaviour of bolts or did I hallucinate it?
