Aw man dude, I think you should be the judge and the jury by now. It's harmless to ask for other people's two cents on matters like these (as dubious as /vp/ is), but when you're doing it for this long, you run into an awful and extremely common problem that I'm familiar with. You don't trust your vision well enough to follow through even after so many revisions. Not that its a bad thing to revise at all, but if you're making a whole romhack or fangame out of this, I can tell that production has stagnated to a screeching halt because of perfectionism. If you get bogged down by step 1 for this long, you eventually lose motivation and interest in whatever you're doing and end up getting stressed out. This is an exceptionally hard deathtrap to escape as a solo dev, and the best answers are either going through with it warts and all onto the next step, or scrapping it and starting over. And even then the latter option has the potential to start the same vicious cycle over again.
If you do want to finish your fangame at a reasonable pace, I suggest going through with what you have right now. and lets not kid ourselves, if shit like Archaludon can pass the border these days, this thing doesn't have a single problem as a pokemon.
If we're skipping the usual /vp/ bullshit. I think they should just settle with whatever they have now and work on all the other pokemon. They clearly want this dog to be the mascot that everybody totally loves.

Reading back on it, I do get that feeling. Even fan favorites like Greninja had their age of being boo'ed instead of cheered for. I actually prefer this to whatever is in the OP. The art here is nice. Remember that every Pokemon has its fan, just some have more fans than others. Don't try too hard to pick or make a shillmon. Just get as much done as you can with whatever comes to mind first. You can revise in the future.
Here's a revamped version of all of the starters. I know some people wanted Haliguana to be bipedal, but there's plenty of kaiju-based mons out there that are bipedal. Plus, there are kaiju that are quadrupedal, like Anguirus.
I feel like you should stop asking people here for advice and just stick to one design. You aren't confident with what you're making so I understand why you want to revise it but it's better to work on more of your game and then come back to your design later. Stuff like this kills progress especially since you have to redo it's sprites.
