Anti-Spell should have been banned like 8 years ago, if konami actually cared about the game. This card is in a way a better IO, and it also completely fricks Pendulums
I have a good reason to believe they will free more Yuri strikes cards from the list while banning shit like toadlly awesome and winda to balance shit out
i unironically feel like just surrendering if this happens to me because they've probably got solemn and bunch of flood gates
i hate trap decks so much red reboot should be at 3
>MD is unironically over a year behind both TCG and OCG >MD doesn't even release full packs but instead splits them apart for release across 4 months >MD is only getting farther behind as time goes
why does this even exist if it gets no support or sales or stuff to buy or events or anything?
>Dark magician support
No idea what the cards are but might be nice
>Marincess support
Okay be real with me. How good are marincess? They rape me constantly. They keep putting two ocean pearl or whatever its called out and getting a 3800 ATK monster and a 5200 monster that cant be affected by card effects out on turn 1 and they play through every negate. How the frick are they not meta, I have no idea how to beat them. If they're getting more support, I am turn 1 surrendering cause frick'em
>How good are marincess?
They're a one card combo into a Link 4 with at least 5000 atk and unaffected by card effects, all while retaining hand size.
....that is until you pop the marincess battle ocean and that link 4 drops to 2300 atk and affected by card effects. Marincess has no monster negates aside from a possible toadally awesome and has to draw into marincess wave for a reliable handtrap.
The new support includes tons of extenders and a boss monster that can negate spell/traps and can reliably tutor marincess wave which is impermance but better.
I play it on paper and my friends hate it because they hate waifu decks and don't like the idea of feesh girls being rogue let alone meta.
Anyone got a Suicide Deck for deranking that lets me do dailies? Seems more interesting than just surrendering. Bonus points if it can do secret missions.
Forgot about that card. I didnt mention it because I dont have it.

Yugioh is a clusterfrick of a game, no doubt, but Runeterra isn't popular simply cause LoL is gay as frick, and the game just isn't fun despite having some neat ideas. Also, the kitchen sink fantasy art style is lame, especially when compared to Japanese TCGs like Yugioh, Vanguard, and Duel Masters. There's no real iconic monsters in Runeterra that set it appart from LoL like Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician, or Bolmeteus.
You sure about that? Pretty sure one of your buddies was whining cause Runeterra is ignored by people because "people have lost faith in TCGs thanks to how stupid Yugioh is."
Literally the only response to that post is people joking about it needing a TV show like Yugioh had and talking about that.
Also please tell me you're not so moronic / ESL that you think 'moronic levels of popularity' was an insult that called Yugioh stupid? I get you're trying to force drama / conflict because you're a tribal moron but please

So this is the second time that Sky Strikers have won a physical card game tournament recently, right? I know the ban lists are different and all, but it sounds like Sky Strikers is actually good? All of you say mid tier at best but I dunno man. I get cardboard is different from MD but two tournament wins is something to keep in mind right?
Turn 2 deck? I've heard about that, doesn't seem that bad though. You either win the coin toss and choose to go second or you lose the coin toss and go second like 70% of the time.
Most people say turn 2 decks tend to be underpowered though right? They tend to rely on a single gimmick and can't do shit if it fails (like numeron and relinquished) or tend to get boxed out if the opponent makes an ideal board full of negates and protections. I wouldn't have been surprised if Sky Strikers being a turn 2 deck was considered a weakness.
sky strikers were never bad sky trannies he complain when they don't auto win with their pot of greed, called by and mind control thats all in arcetype and searchable and soon to have a fricking searchable kaiju and better accesscode

Yes, the Swordsoul player was the one that won. I guess Skytroony players are just stupid? Makes sense
A lot of decks only use like, 2 or 3 spells though. Mostly just a search or fusion spell, and those spells can usually be searched themselves. Is having ASF in your deck really worth it? As far as I understand its mostly unsearchable so you're relying on drawing it and going first and hoping they don't have a monster effect that blows up the trap. It kind of seems like a dud card to me, regardless of how strong the effect is.
>It kind of seems like a dud card to me,
And that attitude is why you'll get fricked over by it

Well, why ASF and not IO? IO stops all spells completely, not just delays them for a turn.

Becuase IO is banned in paper.

Okay fine but what about MD in particular though, is IO better than ASF or vice versa? Are any worth carrying in your rank climbing decks "just in case"? Or are they only for floodgate decks?
Anonymous
IO is a lot more impactful and easier to fit in into most decks. Your opponent will always be in a bigger disadvantage if you negate their spell rather than telling them they can't activate it right away.
Anonymous
IO might frickup with you since it works for both sides, and given BO1 format called is nearly mandatory along with droplet.
Decks that use IO generally dont care much about spells. Spellcaster village is more splashable and don't frick you up.
Anonymous
Secret Village literally requires you control a spellcaster for its effect to work, which not a lot of decks can easily do unless you normal summon effect veiler or something.
Anonymous
Secret Village of the Spellcasters is not splashable lmao what you need to control a Spellcasters for it to turn online so unless you are playing a Spellcaster deck, that can be an issue. Not only that, Secret Villages turns off if the opponent has a spellcaster, so it doesn’t work at all against spellcaster decks. It’s by no means, splashable.

Secret Village reverses its effect to only frick you if you don't have a spellcaster.
It's good in Dark Magician and Witchcrafter, and that's about it...
For some reason, people don’t main Spell/trap removal and it’s all side deck so everyone runs Mystic Mine to cheese the first round and the side deck all copies of Mystic mine out for the second round and 3rd round.
it's the issue with combo decks being so strong. >run spell/trap removal >it's fricking dead 90% of the time >lose to combo more often because of it >take out spell/trap removal >better chance to win vs combo but now you lose to mine
For some reason, people don’t main Spell/trap removal and it’s all side deck so everyone runs Mystic Mine to cheese the first round and the side deck all copies of Mystic mine out for the second round and 3rd round.
Some decks do main S/T removal, problem being you have to hard draw into it, so even if you side deck there's a good chance you are going to lose because your opponent would have pulled off his strategy once you draw into something like twister
I'm about to go to bed, but I'd like some deck ideas to wake up to.
>What are your favourite decks? >What's their gimmick/playstyle? >What makes them unique compared to similar decks? >What do you like about them? >What don't you like about them and what are their weaknesses?
I guess to get the ball rolling I'll go first
>Traptrix >Focus is on laying tons of traps to screw with the opponent's gameplan >The main point of difference is that they use traphole traps, which are mostly triggered when a monster is summoned. They typically stop the monster from being summoned and destroy it. >I like cutting combos short and forcing opponents to abandon their usual combo lines because they're struggling to get a starter monster to live long enough to do anything >Being so anti summon focused means they can't do shit once a monster is actually summoned and the traps aren't really designed to negate effects either, so they're mostly there to stop a combo from starting but can't do anything if it kicks off or if you just play spells first
dinos
beating the frick out of my babies and having the single best in arcetype hand trap
i can beat nib and max c with them and i can go first or second
no grind grind game in the slightest
>Archetype hand trap
Dinos are an archetype? I assumed it was just a wide type pile deck, like Earth Machines
How do dinos actually function? I was kind of under the impression they're less bricky BEWD because they shove out a big beatstick and that was it.
they can brick but all you need is a baby in hand and misc to otk or set up a big board of negates, to get out their beat stick you can use double evo pill with you naturally search in the combo by using the level 1 dino
also they can use scrap raptor which is a one card halq
Plunder Patrolls
You can summon out small goblin pirates that you can either swap out on the other guy's turn or use the effect of Blackbeard to swap out whenever in order to cheat out really big ED ships that get special quick play effects when equipped with a Plunder monster (swapping out the guys equips them to the ship)
Basically ED spam without the monster spamming out part.
Aesthetics and you can get some very powerful cards out pretty easily and they tend to snowball well.
The ship's quickplay effects required Plunders in hand to fuel their effects and while they replace themselves when used, it can be hard to get going at times. Also they rely on what cards the other guy is playing AND THERE'S STILL NO FRICKING EARTH OR WIND SHIPS!
>goblin
Trolls. Goblins look like Goblin Attack Force, the goblin villagers from cards like the goblin holiday series (including token collector) and Goblin of Greed.
YGO Trolls look like Plunders and Man-Throw-Troll, no in-between. Midgets or thugs.
Thankfully Yugioh doesn't define reality and I can happily call them what they look like and are clearly inspired by without getting into a fit about it,
Yeah, but it defines fantasy in the confines of the setting. They are not goblins, idk why people insist on it. Is it because they're short and green? Trolls that look like little moronic midgets have been extremely common across fiction, most commonly represented by those ugly little dolls with tall hair. Classical depictions of trolls depict them literally exactly like the Plunders, short fae creatures with huge noses and large hands, including sources that are over a hundred years old. Not all trolls have to be gigantic muscular titans with clubs, that's more of an ogre thing.
>Patroll >Pa Troll >Troll
You people are legit missing the point. Design wise they're clearly based off of how goblins typically look and not trolls. They're trolls in-universe yes but when talking about their designs I'm going to call them goblins because they look like goblins.
I don't know why this is tripping you up
Anonymous
Design-wise they look literally like cartoony versions of the traditional fantasy Troll.
Have you never seen a troll outside of Harry Potter shit? In many (not all) depictions in actual myth, trolls are generally chunky, with large noses, pointed ears, and squat bodies, regardless of their physical size or if they're ugly/cutesy.
Call them goblins all you want, I'm going to correct you every time because I like trolls and it ticks me off that literally everyone calls them goblins because no one knows what a troll looks like apart from the tiny-headed ogre featured in harry potter and the almost random humanoids in games like mtg. Goblins are everywhere, yet the one game that actually makes a cartoon troll that looks like a troll has everyone mistake them for fricking gobs because short and green = gob.

Go back to twitter and let me play my pirate trolls in peace without your idiotic insistence on every short green fantasy creature being a goblin. It'd be like if I called Marincess the archetype of mermaids because they're girls and they're underwater with fishy design elements despite there being multiple existing mermaids.

I will, by correcting you every time you try and shit on the designs by calling them goblins. Idk why you hate the deck so much, but you just look moronic when it's in the name even in Japanese and everyone except you accepts it.
>you like things and know stuff about them? Must be autistic
I'd say the difference is the fact that you're getting upset about other people not caring. That's when you come off as autistic. If you know and understand why people are doing something but get mad anyways, it's kind of stupid.
He clearly cares enough to post multiple times defending it, so why would I not do the same? Man says they're gobs, gets multiple posts from people saying that not everything green and short is a gob, insists they're based on gobs. No, designwise they are not based on how gobs look and are not "clearly inspired by them", the creators incorporated multiple elements from old pictures of them to differentiate them from goblins in the game. That was the part that got me. People acting like morons who know what they're talking about and asserting it confidently while being wrong. If he just said "ok, I'll call them gobs anyway" instead of "they clearly based them off of gobs/clearly inspired by gobs" then this conversation wouldn't exist.

I think at this point that he considers them gobs because they have the sort of red-tipped nose that warhammer ones do. Not really enough to consider them a gob imo but whatever. I can see WHY he would think they're gobs, but it's odd to insist they're based on them when YGO lays out a whole goblin society already and they range from green to purple. There are few trolls in-setting and they do both the thuggish old type with MTT and the shorter big-nosed chunky ones with Plunders. YGO has actually been pretty good about their existing-fantasy inspired creatures even with the liberties taken to make them cooler or cuter for each design.

No, I call them goblins because they look like the traditional fantasy style goblin. It's as simple as that

Alright, well as long as you know they're trolls, are based on (one type of) trolls, and don't insist they're based on goblins (since they went out of their way to make them different) then whatever. Also, it's not like YGO is short on traditional goblins that don't look like these. The goblin archetype features everything from flat-faced piggy looking ones, to green humanoids, to ugly rough looking scarred shorties, to purple-skinned grotesque little guys with horns. The only one we lack is the hairy ones (and I don't mean having hair like Plunders, I mean having hair like monkeys).

The first result is wikipedia, which produces an early 1900s image of the squat chunky troll with a huge nose, and an image of a hairy little goblin with slightly exaggerated human features for the face (the image the other fellow posted).
Regardless, I already said he probably thought they were goblins because they have a similar red tip on the end of the nose to the warhammer goblins. The whole point was that shit like Harry Potter making everyone think that trolls were exclusively supposed to be hulking tiny headed ogres didn't mean that the Plunders were not based on a traditional type of troll, and that "short, green, and big nose" was a very general criteria. Plus the game already shows a shitload of goblins and intentionally designs the plunders to look distinct and different from them.

Again, the point was that trolls weren't all depicted as some hulking tiny headed ogre beast and that YGO deliberately goes out of their way to make them different from the goblins. Even the more cutesy goblins like the Goblin King wouldn't be mistaken for a Plunder.

It's because they're short and green, you fricking moron. How are you this stupid and out of touch with reality? Like seriously? Have you seen ANY fantasy based media in the last like 20 years? Goblins are almost always shown as short, green skinned creatures. Jumping to calling the plunders goblin isn't weird and it's not something you should be getting mad about.

You said they're "clearly based off" them when they're literally cartoon versions of classic literature trolls, which was the main point of conflict. Of course they'll share design similarities as fantasy humanoids, which was why I jotted down those other examples. Yeah I know this has devolved into semantics but they're my favorite archetype and it'd be like if people started calling Gimmick Puppets the mannequin/doll archetype, when Puppet is in the name. Anyway, call it whatever you want, they're trolls and were "clearly based on them" despite you not caring about the deck enough to give a shit about it.
>Guess who owns it and decides the names/approves shit for sale?
God you're reaching hard now. Yes, I'm sure that the OCG was the ones who told KoA to change the names of a bunch of cards for no reason but shitty puns. They made it very clear to do that and don't just not give a shit about what westerners do or don't do.
According to them, yes, it's run through KoJ. When doing name changes like Hope -> Utopia they consider how it preserves the intent of the designs and monsters while localizing it to a western audience. Konami still is the one deciding internally how it goes though, and TCG "exclusives" like Artifact generally have their actual non-censored art released when they get to the OCG (e.g. Scythe is supposed to have his legs spread, the TCG moved it up to cover his crotch) because it's usually made there to begin with regardless of where it releases first, unless it's specifically a guest artist like Genzoman or Joe Ng doing it in the west. Who I am also pretty sure they haven't brought back for a while.

No, I avoided it because it's super inconsistent and the point was that they're based off a specific type of troll, the kind commonly seen in fiction around the mid-late 1800s to early 1900s. YGO tends to paint most goblins the same, and if they're different looking they are shown interacting with the others in a way that justifies it (e.g. Goblin Calligrapher is an elderly one, Second Goblin is a midget and is much smaller than others, etc.). When it comes to trolls, MTG paints a huge variety of them that draws from dozens of different inspirations, and while some are indeed the squat ones, others are the jotunn style ones, and I knew instantly what you'd do is "but look at THIS mtg troll" as some sort of moronic gotcha when that completely misses the point.
The point from the start was that they look like goblins and that's why people called them goblins. You're the one who started sperging out about not really and skin colors and shit.

No, the point was that you said they were "clearly based on" how goblins look, when they were based on how trolls looked. I didn't even argue that they were easily mistakeable for goblins, I literally said I understand why people would say they're gobs. Frick, even I mistook them when I first saw the art, come on man. But looking like something and being based on something are different, and even after reading just the name, even the most braindead of people could extrapolate that A, they have Troll in the name, and B, they look very different from YGO goblins, which are among the most famous monsters in the game.
Never mentioned skin color apart from when you argued everything short, green, and with a big nose is a goblin.

Are you the same tard as before? What's with these obvious lies you just expect people to believe?
They're also mostly green in DnD
Seriously. What is even the point in arguing this? Everyone knows that goblins are traditionally green small guys with big noses. You people are so weird. Yes they come in different colors, no that doesn't change that the default for most people are green short guys

>you like things and know stuff about them? Must be autistic
I'd say the difference is the fact that you're getting upset about other people not caring. That's when you come off as autistic. If you know and understand why people are doing something but get mad anyways, it's kind of stupid.
I don't get why people seethe about eldlich. Just use Called By? He doesn't even have any effects on the field, he's just a beatstick. Get a bigger beatstick, what's he gonna do about it?
I kind of assumed this was about eldlich bouncing between the GY and the board to delete a card on the board and get a 1000 ATK boost
People don't seethe about the eldlich cards themselves, since those are pretty weak by themselves, but about the 10+ floodgates in the deck.
I guess I've just never seen it for some reason? Or maybe they all mysteriously bricked or something. The only flood gate I've seen was when they activated Summon Limit then flipped two zombie traps and surrendered.
Eldlich players are generally not very good at the game.
Hence why they're playing a stun deck.
If you look at the deck of the guy that played summon limit, chances are he is also playing skill drain, rivalry, gozen match or IO
>new to YGO >buddy convinced me to get started irl with an Albaz deck >"hey, that's pretty fun" >download MD mainly as a timewaster >albaz stuff hasn't been added yet
Suggest something fun to play, I don't really care about the meta. The aforementioned buddy played against me with a BEWD deck and looked kinda fun, although easy to counter afaik
I've tried Virtual World but it's pretty boring, I got the CyberDragon and Dragon Maid structures from the store but I guess I'll have to swap some cards first
>lose a match against a floodgate Black person because I thought that There Can Be Only One was asking me to select the monster I wanted to keep >twice
I can't believe I defended sky trannies earlier in the thread
I'm trying to research decks and how to build them, but a lot of these talk about side decks. Even specifically master duel focused sites like MasterDuelMeta are using side decks for some reason? Did side decks get added to the game while I wasn't looking?
>master duel based website has non master duel based tournaments and post non master duel based decks
Literally what is the fricking point? Is there another resource i can use instead?
>See Sky Striker x Eldlich deck online >Assume it must be ultra godtier control/stun deck homosexualry >its literally just a regular Sky Striker deck but with a single eldlich
Am i fricking missing something? This feels like a deck some rando uploaded by themselves. Literally what the frick is the point of this deck?
>Opponent uses Inspector Boarder >Never seen it before >Can't understand its effect at all >Opponent stalls for 3 turns until I topdeck raigeki
What the frick does boarder inspector do?
if you want to activate 1 monster effect you need to have at least 1 fusion xyz, link or synchro in the field. 1 additional effect activation per card type.
It’s okay because it doesn’t have Fusion in the name so no verte splashing and also Dinomorphia’s turn usually just consist of normal summoning 1 guy and setting 5 back row so they kinda need to fuse from deck.
It’s okay because it doesn’t have Fusion in the name so no verte splashing and also Dinomorphia’s turn usually just consist of normal summoning 1 guy and setting 5 back row so they kinda need to fuse from deck.
and we only have 2 main deck monsters so its fine for us to be able to fuse from deck. It's a trap card anyway so Verte wouldn't be able to dump it even if it had fusion in the name
Very, stun cards are the most powerful cards in the game, this is why you have to sidedeck lots of backrow removal and maindeck at least 1 out to mystic mine.
>fusion summon from the deck >1 card xys summon >synchro summon using token tuners
What would be the link equivalent of "lmao lets ignore the entire mechanic point"
Cyberse Gadget and that other cyberse monster that shits out a token when it's sent to the GY, you also have the coder monsters that can use themselves from the hand
They essentially are one card synchros though.
You can use whatever copout you want but it doesn't change the fact that they are one card synchro monsters
You need another card in hand to use Mo-Ye, Long Yuan's effects to summon a token while Taia needs a card in GY to banish to summon one, it's still 2 cards required but more consistent since you don't need maindeck a tuner monster
Still 2 monsters and needs a wyrm/in-archetype card in hand. Mo Ye doesn't synchro alone.
If you destroy the token/negate Mo Ye, she wont just transform into Chixiao out of thin air like a link-1
Fusion Destiny summons directly from the deck. It is literally a 1 card summon, regardless of where the materials are. Your comparison is moronic. Mo Ye could use a Tenyi tuner if she wanted.
Still not a single card synchro. And the conditions lock them in-archetype.
Anonymous
It is pathetically easy for them to get their tokens, and the main hand trap doesn't stop them. And they're only locked while the tokens are on the field. You can still drop Fusion Destiny after playing Chixao and Barrone for the millionth time
2 years ago
Anonymous
You still cant play mo ye in a PK deck and get a free synchro. Your argument means nothing. Fusion Destiny cheats fusion but Swordsouls dont cheat synchros
Well, the central tenet is simply "monsters on the field" so I would say archetypes like Altergeists that can link a material from the hand would be bypassing the mechanic. Fishing up extra mats is separate, so I wouldn't say that ignores the mechanic, but if something were to stipulate that you can link summon it regardless of where you have link arrows pointing, I would say that also would be ignoring the mechanic.
It's more consistent because each swordsoul can shit out a tuner token, to summon a tuner token you need either another card in hand or another card in grave, it isn't free like Zoodiac.
You see this? This is true 1 card synchro summon. BUY BLACKWINGS NOW
Your argument makes no sense, a single zoodiac can be used as the sole material for an xyz whereas the swordsoul needs to use its hopt effect (which have costs requiring other cards) to summon a token tuner.
She doesn't even recycle herself, at best its a dodge and House is just an unprotected beater with ED aids so you cant summon her back once you pop her with literally any destroy effect. >VW
lmao, imagine if the maids could special summon themselves if you have welcome.
Is kind of funny how simple can a Suship deck look, is literally three of each monster and your favorite handtraps and engines. What else could I add or change here? I'm kind of stuck.
Depends on the deck.
I made P.U.N.K. from scratch and then posted it, adding Mythic Water Dragon from an anon's suggestion.
But for EARTH Machine I had to look up a sample (i.e. I netdecked) to base the deck off of before I could start tweaking it, as it was multiple archetypes and I didn't know where to start. Then I asked for feedback after testing it, and added/removed some based on that. It was generally harder than the P.U.N.K. deck to make.
Generally I find it easier to make it from scratch if the deck can be run pure with a few tech cards versus a hybrid that requires a more careful balance of each component archetype. Gimmick decks, like dice coin/jar burn, suicide, or reactive trap counters tend to require no recipe and are easy to make since they always run the same cards from a very limited total pool.
>IKR? Big butt dino has to be the most user reliant archetype in the game since Silvan
True. And it's not even auto fellatio. You die at the drop of a hat with the deck. If you're not constantly paying attention to the game and know how to play around what kills you you're gonna die in 2 turns.
Speaking of Goblins, are there actually any ways to make a pure Goblin deck? Their only support is Scrounging Goblin but I always liked using Attack Force + equips for unga bunga, and it worked alright in the N/R event.
>People whining about SS
Yeah its strong as frick but man you won't be ready for Spirals/Tearlament down the line. Game warping levels of power creep. Tearlament might atleast lose hard to some stun decks though. Brave engine is also one of the worst things to happen to the game. Plus cards everywhere into a omni negate in another "splash" archetype where no one plays 80% of the fricking cards for it.
I don't know if I'm more excited for vampires, D/D/D, or Ancient Warrior support, pretty happy lots of my decks will get some love at one point or another.
Current girl getting all the pornz not made by DMG secondaries is Trouble Sunny.

I have a friend who build them and won an OTS last week, and boy fining an opening to do those 50 damage is damn near imposible, then I play some rando who made them for the lulz watch him kill himself for next to no gain.
Speaking off, when was the last time a non-autopilot deck became meta defining?
>deep sea fish and jelly archetype focusing on banishing >TCG exclusive so it won't be in MD until a year after the game dies
why are my favorite decks TCG exclusives that I'll never be able to play on MD?
when Libromancers?
Yes, JP gets World Premiere sets specifically to import TCG exclusive cards, then the next set aftwards has a single piece of support for WP decks.
How long is it going to take for the cards to get into MD however? Keep in mind we're going to have to wait at least a year or 2 for OCG to get Ghoti and the next TCG exclusive archetype imported.
History Archive Collection released in February in Japan, which was a month after Dimension Force, so around then, so... at least like 5 months probably more, it's still not out in TCG so yeah
>OCG promo from a weird side set
just like the TCG, we have no clue when we will get stuff like this in MD. you can only hope they include it in a new selection pack at complete random.
>OCG promo from a weird side set

It's a pretty good card to turn into Deus Machinex, because it means you can pop one of your contracts to absorb a monster, then shuffle the contract you popped to pop your opponent's card.
It does lock you into D/D/D specifically (which means you can't summon D/D monsters) so you need to be careful when working it into your combos.
I see, D/D/D seems very complex.
Are the other two any good? Copernicus and Laplace I mean. Looking at the cards in MD I don't think I can build it here, it seems HERO-level expensive.
D/D/D is quite complex but with the new cards there are pretty consistent strong combos you can learn.
Copernicus is pretty good, he's a foolish on legs that can get your combos started. Laplace is a janky boss monster, he's not really played that much because he's winmore.
You can't stop her
She's getting in-archetype kaiju plus linkage in MD's future at the bare minimum, and it's highly likely the other characters and battle machines in her manga arc will become cards too, at least the named ones. Especially since Aileron is already a card which means the rest of her family is ripe for the carding.
>TCG >Ban every card around Halq >Finally deal with auroradon >Halq still sees play and is still broken with the free +1 and the "shit out a synchro on your opponents turn"
What's with the western heads at Konami and their love for this card?
>What's with the western heads at Konami and their love for this card?
Not love, pity. Do you have any idea how many Mechaphantom Beasts are in the banlist despite MPB never winning anything?
>Opponent saw me search and set Vadis >His deck isnt even one that does GY shenanigans >Pulls Avarice out at the end of his MP1 for no fricking reason >I just banish his big monster during battle phase >He cant do shit in MP2 and now I've got 3 big sisters set on my board for my next turn >Make him scoop when I clear whats left of his board and go into Draco Future
I went through with my really bad idea. Already ran into chinks playing bird up and adventure within the first two games I played but I'm not giving up.
They only held t0 status for like a week, and the only foe to stand against them was Eldlich. I had the picture somewhere, it compared it to Spyral format.

Remember, Air Neos was once a cover mascot.
Why did Konami give Tearalments which contrary to name/design are dark aqua and another actual water archetype in Ghoti in the same set other than to confuse people?
Tears + Lament because they're sirens or something.
Ghoti is TCG-premiere and is being used as the central promoter of the set, because they know everyone who keeps up with the game already has seen all the OCG stuff and new stuff is what gets people excited.
Them being in the same set is a coincidence, but is most likely because LED9, i.e. Duels from the Deep, came out just prior to this along with a bunch of water support cards to use with them.
How the fuk sprights are from the same universe as dogmatika branded?
They are just electric fricks wearing Black person drip they looking nothing alike
i think they're the final form of springans.
honestly i think every time they come up with an ugly archetype they shove it in with the lore archetypes and make it broken, since nobody would ever play it otherwise
Dogmatika is a nation that worships a hole in space that spits out alien artifacts. These include the Dogmatika Nexus and the Therion's damaged flying saucer.
Kitt and the Springans traveled to the flying saucer, which sustains itself on the thermal energy of a volcano, in search of anti-Despia weaponry aid from the AI running the saucer. There they had to play battlebots with it and it called down the Sprights from the top of the volcano, whereupon they started wreaking havoc and were defeated by Sargas and Regulus teaming up to deliver a double rocket punch to the Gigantic Spright, allowing Kitt to capture Red and Blue and use them for her weapons.
TLDR the setting has light sci-fi undertones and they're electric sprites instigated by an alien AI.
Mostly because they're supposed to look modern, it goes with the UFO machinery the others use
Also generally just looks cool and humanizes them to give them clothing despite them clearly not needing any of it. Gives the design volume. The goal was presumably not to just plop down a hostile electric being that looks like the virus from scooby doo, but rather to make them look like they're civilized in some way despite the destruction they inflict. Red and Blue look like they're wearing kids clothing for example, while Carrot and Jet have more form-fitting stuff that gives them defined "bodies" instead of loose electric forms like Red and Blue.
An interstellar jobber, nay, the biggest jobber in the Galaxy. I almost feel pity for Ecclesia because this would mean that she will get raped by corrupted by literally everything living in that universe.

>Yeah but most of them you can just either ignore or flip up and then play your own over it, right?
If you can legally activate it? The typical idea however was to give you a card with a mandatory search effect like Oracle of Zefra which you wouldn't be able to flip up because you have no valid targets in deck.
So you think the dead tree branch the goblin is standing on, is green?
First off it's not dead, it's just not fully drawn. Second off, yes it's green. That doesn't really change anything since green is a fricking color and people know that it looks like.
Anon, he is standing on a dead tree, the artist went out of his way to draw each branch as dead as possible. The goblin is on a swamp, and the lighting indicates he is the same color as the tree, gray and decayed looked.

That branch doesn't look anything like the branch in that pic which isn't even fully drawn so you can't tell if its attached to a tree or not. For example that branch is actually dead while the pic isn't.

This is untrue. Card releases are packed so that we stay consistently a year behind the ocg
>Vampires suppor
Finally the one reason for me to come back to MD.
The dark magician support is the last piece needed to make B.A.S.E.D aka pile decks meta
I sneed vampires so yes
ive been waiting for marincess and vamp support, so yes. better start saving up my gemmies now.
i'll personally castrate anyone trying to play mathmech when POTE comes to MD. except the exosister anon you are alright.
Is Circular really that good?
his """cost""" is foolish burial.
Anyone got a Suicide Deck for deranking that lets me do dailies? Seems more interesting than just surrendering. Bonus points if it can do secret missions.
What are the best decks for the Ex-Zero festival?
I just want to get the gems from the medals and event missions ASAP.
Eldlich
Bird Up
Objectively Eldlich, though Monarch and True Draco work aswell. Basically coombo decks are far less powerful than stun or control
How is Eldlich better than Floo? floo is at full power while Eldlich's best floodgates are either limited or banned.
TCBOO is banned?
Forgot about that card. I didnt mention it because I dont have it.
>can play adventure
oh...
>How is Eldlich better than Floo?
Eldlich has a consistent resource loop and can play adventure. Floo you can't really keep cycling the big tributes if they leave the field only exception being Raiza
>opponent plays Foolish Burial
>starts his homosexual adventure combo
>summons a fricking U.A. monster after summoning the token
>activates Fateful Adventure
>stares at his board for a solid minute
>surrenders
I like to think he had a crisis of conscious
WHY IN THE FRICK IS THE DECK LIMIT AT 20????? I JUST UNLOCKED A BUNCH OF CARDS AND I CANT EVEN BUILD DECKS ANYMORE
This and the replay limit at ten is fricking moronic
Reminder YGO makes western players like
seethe
>they're salty cause they're shilling for Runeterra
Yugioh is a clusterfrick of a game, no doubt, but Runeterra isn't popular simply cause LoL is gay as frick, and the game just isn't fun despite having some neat ideas. Also, the kitchen sink fantasy art style is lame, especially when compared to Japanese TCGs like Yugioh, Vanguard, and Duel Masters. There's no real iconic monsters in Runeterra that set it appart from LoL like Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician, or Bolmeteus.
>simply cause LoL is gay as frick
this is reason enough. frick LoL
that is one angry looking cyborg dragon
Literally no one is seething in that post or in it's responses.
You people are drama tards
You sure about that? Pretty sure one of your buddies was whining cause Runeterra is ignored by people because "people have lost faith in TCGs thanks to how stupid Yugioh is."
Meds
Literally the only response to that post is people joking about it needing a TV show like Yugioh had and talking about that.
Also please tell me you're not so moronic / ESL that you think 'moronic levels of popularity' was an insult that called Yugioh stupid? I get you're trying to force drama / conflict because you're a tribal moron but please
You might want to read these posts again then.
This is where the OCG is currently. Darkwing Duck Blast just came out a few days ago.
>summon Sera and set 3
>wait for opponent to summon Gryphon
>activate torrential
>opponent negates with gryphon
>activate witch's strike
>wait for my opponent to very slowly accept his fate
I swear this card is actually good now with adventure fricking everywhere.
I'm actually concerned that swordsoul is one of the best 5 decks in the game and I was a moron for not getting a deck while I had the chance
>play a going second deck
>never draw your outs
>play against a going second deck
>opponent magically always has the exact combination of cards to break your board and go straight for an OTK
the english language hardly has the words to describe how much I fricking hate this game
Skytroony, please
Sky Striker is a T2 deck.
Turn 2 deck? I've heard about that, doesn't seem that bad though. You either win the coin toss and choose to go second or you lose the coin toss and go second like 70% of the time.
He meant a tier 2 deck you moron
Calling it a turn 2 deck makes no sense given the context
Most people say turn 2 decks tend to be underpowered though right? They tend to rely on a single gimmick and can't do shit if it fails (like numeron and relinquished) or tend to get boxed out if the opponent makes an ideal board full of negates and protections. I wouldn't have been surprised if Sky Strikers being a turn 2 deck was considered a weakness.
sky strikers were never bad sky trannies he complain when they don't auto win with their pot of greed, called by and mind control thats all in arcetype and searchable and soon to have a fricking searchable kaiju and better accesscode
frick sky trannies
Who cares, they finally dragged Jaden's VA out of retirement. Now that is sweet!
I'm amazed he was bullied that badly before the internet and social media became that big
Just look at the seething replies to your post.
Wasn't it the Swordsoul player that won?
Because I don't think the Sky Stroker player was going to get past that second ASF on the field
Yes, the Swordsoul player was the one that won. I guess Skytroony players are just stupid? Makes sense
>Swordsoul won
Huh. I should have made a Swordsoul deck this whole time then?
No it means you should use ASF to frick over any deck that heavily relies on spells
IO is a lot more impactful and easier to fit in into most decks. Your opponent will always be in a bigger disadvantage if you negate their spell rather than telling them they can't activate it right away.
IO might frickup with you since it works for both sides, and given BO1 format called is nearly mandatory along with droplet.
Decks that use IO generally dont care much about spells. Spellcaster village is more splashable and don't frick you up.
Secret Village literally requires you control a spellcaster for its effect to work, which not a lot of decks can easily do unless you normal summon effect veiler or something.
Sky Striker is a strong deck.
No idea why you would take the random contrarian drivel in these threads seriously.
>Sky Strikers have won
*Mystic Mine has won
Sky Striker is awful, mine does everything for that deck
They didn't even win. They lost hard to Swordsouls
Both players main decked 3 copies of Mine
AAHHHHHHHHHHH
OCG was right
Mystic meme was a mistake.
For some reason, people don’t main Spell/trap removal and it’s all side deck so everyone runs Mystic Mine to cheese the first round and the side deck all copies of Mystic mine out for the second round and 3rd round.
it's the issue with combo decks being so strong.
>run spell/trap removal
>it's fricking dead 90% of the time
>lose to combo more often because of it
>take out spell/trap removal
>better chance to win vs combo but now you lose to mine
>Ban VFD
>VFD as a continuous field spell is a ok
No matter vidya or irl, it's pure clown format
all three formats are irredeemable
Some decks do main S/T removal, problem being you have to hard draw into it, so even if you side deck there's a good chance you are going to lose because your opponent would have pulled off his strategy once you draw into something like twister
>Main deck: witchcrafters
>fusion: dragonmaid
>xyz: exosisters
>link: skystriker
What are the troony archetypes for Synchro and Pendulums
bird pedos are the troony xyz decck
Whatever decks you play in those archetypes.
solfachord is the troony pend deck
I'm about to go to bed, but I'd like some deck ideas to wake up to.
>What are your favourite decks?
>What's their gimmick/playstyle?
>What makes them unique compared to similar decks?
>What do you like about them?
>What don't you like about them and what are their weaknesses?
I guess to get the ball rolling I'll go first
>Traptrix
>Focus is on laying tons of traps to screw with the opponent's gameplan
>The main point of difference is that they use traphole traps, which are mostly triggered when a monster is summoned. They typically stop the monster from being summoned and destroy it.
>I like cutting combos short and forcing opponents to abandon their usual combo lines because they're struggling to get a starter monster to live long enough to do anything
>Being so anti summon focused means they can't do shit once a monster is actually summoned and the traps aren't really designed to negate effects either, so they're mostly there to stop a combo from starting but can't do anything if it kicks off or if you just play spells first
dinos
beating the frick out of my babies and having the single best in arcetype hand trap
i can beat nib and max c with them and i can go first or second
no grind grind game in the slightest
Thankfully Yugioh doesn't define reality and I can happily call them what they look like and are clearly inspired by without getting into a fit about it,
>Plunder Patrolls
>PaTROLLS
>”hehe they must be goblins”
You people are legit missing the point. Design wise they're clearly based off of how goblins typically look and not trolls. They're trolls in-universe yes but when talking about their designs I'm going to call them goblins because they look like goblins.
I don't know why this is tripping you up
Design-wise they look literally like cartoony versions of the traditional fantasy Troll.
You really got hit with the autism stick, eh?
>you like things and know stuff about them? Must be autistic
Go back to twitter and let me play my pirate trolls in peace without your idiotic insistence on every short green fantasy creature being a goblin. It'd be like if I called Marincess the archetype of mermaids because they're girls and they're underwater with fishy design elements despite there being multiple existing mermaids.
Anon you're literally mad about fricking nothing. Cope and seethe over everyone rightfully calling them goblins though
I will, by correcting you every time you try and shit on the designs by calling them goblins. Idk why you hate the deck so much, but you just look moronic when it's in the name even in Japanese and everyone except you accepts it.
Based troll facts anon.
>BLA BLA BLA
short/big nose/green = goblin
frick off.
>a little green alien in a spacesuit with huge alien eyes and a paper thin stick body is a goblin if it has a noticeable nose
>a small green nature spirit composed of leaves and moss with a tree branch nose is a goblin
>a mid-1800s to early 1900s troll, which is chunkier and has a more squat body in addition to the huge nose being a major focal point, is a troll because it's green
>a stereotypical hook-nosed green midget witch from fairytales is a goblin
No
*is a goblin because it's green
Also, if you take issue with the TCG censor art, it's still made by Konami and there are other examples I could provide, this is just the easiest one.
>going into a meltdown just because i called what is clearly a goblin, a goblin.
kys
It's just pointing out how moronic it is to say anything short, green, and with a prominent nose is a goblin, because there's so many things out there in the world of fantasy that meets that description. Pretty sure no one's called the traditional fantasy Hag monster a goblin outside of insulting them.
Google goblin and google troll. Which results do the plunder monsters look more like?
This is the first result I got
You could at least try to argue in good faith, autismo.
Now that I think about it, those trolls have similar proportions to the Plunder Patrolls don’t they.
See
See
Again, the point was that trolls weren't all depicted as some hulking tiny headed ogre beast and that YGO deliberately goes out of their way to make them different from the goblins. Even the more cutesy goblins like the Goblin King wouldn't be mistaken for a Plunder.
see
That's it. You're a fricking tard. Nobody cares about the ingame lore shit. No one is talking about the ingame lore shit but you. They look like goblins, people therefor call them goblins. It's as simple as that.
This isn't even lore
it's the name and the art, they don't look like ygo goblins
like man it's the same thing as why gnomes don't look the same as dwarves in ygo
>they don't look like ygo goblins
They look like how goblins look in 85% of media therefor people calling them goblin isn't weird and worth getting mad about.
Do you agree with the above? Yes or no. If so, then that's the only point being made from the start and the other guy is purely whining that people are calling them that as a shorthand / a visual reference to what they look like
yeah I guess but like goblin of greed and goldenhair being grouped together gives strong ugly bastard vibes
goblins are so common in ygo i dont think theres any harm separating them from trolls
>Regardless, I already said he probably thought they were goblins because they have a similar red tip on the end of the nose to the warhammer goblins
I swear you have some kind of brain disorder. Also they're trolls but that's mostly just because TCG loves their shitty puns. You know, if Fur Hire and Toadly didn't make that clear.
Mate, I already acknowledged that, and what I was arguing about was that he said they were based on goblins. I literally said I can see why people say they're gobs.
Also, they're trolls because the fricking original JP name is Plundroll, it's not some asinine TCG-exclusive localization frickup like Fur Hire.
Read the whole post chain before replying.
>Read the whole post chain before replying.
I started the post chain when I called them goblins and you threw a shitfest.
I just said they're trolls and you insisted they're based on goblins after that.
Guess who owns it and decides the names/approves shit for sale? There are cards that are still TCG-exclusive, will never be released in JP due to their age and prize status, and have official JP names, that should give you a hint.
>and you insisted they're based on goblins after that
No, I said they look like them and were clearly inspired by how goblins look. Because they fricking are. I even said that in-lore they're trolls after that but you kept throwing a shitfit.
God you're annoying. You're just arguing dumb bullshit because you got BTFO at this point. Well here's my last (you). Enjoy being mad when people keep calling them goglins in the future
Ditto my friend, you couldn't come up with anything and got mad when someone who likes the deck gave you a light correction, then threw a fit and declared yourself right, hanging on an hour later for that last reply. Don't forget, anything small, green, and with a big nose is a goblin, lol
>anything small, green, and with a big nose is a goblin
That's pretty correct though. Not that guy btw
>Not that guy btw
Yup, not the anon you're replying to btw but I sure love this goblin lol
That's a israelite aka a real world goblin
lel, well alright
>Guess who owns it and decides the names/approves shit for sale?
God you're reaching hard now. Yes, I'm sure that the OCG was the ones who told KoA to change the names of a bunch of cards for no reason but shitty puns. They made it very clear to do that and don't just not give a shit about what westerners do or don't do.
>Also, they're trolls because the fricking original JP name is Plundroll, it's not some asinine TCG-exclusive localization frickup like Fur Hire.
Also just to further point out how dumb you are, Plunder Patrolls are a TCG original archetype, you tard. They came FROM the TCG and were named by them.
>Goblins are almost always shown as short, green skinned creatures.
Where? Most goblins I know are shades of gray and red.
What country do you live in? Honest question because that's such a weird take
??? What does my country has to do with the media I consume?
Cause I have no idea how you've never seen green goblins before considering how fricking common a look that is for them. The only thing I can think of is you life in some place that doesn't get a ton of foreign media
Where did I say I have never EVER seen green goblins?
I have watched tranime shit like Goblin Slayer, doesn't mean it's the norm.
>Where did I say I have never EVER seen green goblins?
You said it wasn't the norm when it very well is? Most goblins in Magic are green as well.
Except they most of them.
I get my media from DnD and magic, both of them feature dark shades on goblin not cartoony trash.
>Except they most of them.
b***h go google Goblin MTG and try to tell me with a straight face most of them aren't fricking green.
Are you the same tard as before? What's with these obvious lies you just expect people to believe?
They're also mostly green in DnD
Cope tranime troon. You will never be westerner.
Tard from before here, I had deliberately avoiding using mtg as an example of inconsistent designs for trolls because they're one of the things that makes people think they're almost exclusively supposed to be thuggish stupid giants (which is a type of troll, but not all trolls), plus there's some that look weirdly beastly. Same shit as the harry potter garbage. I avoided using it as reference because of exactly what you're arguing about here, half of them look exactly like the warhammer ones.
>I avoid using some of the most popular media around because I don't like it even though it's clearly where the common / most popular idea of something came for and thus the entire point of the argument.
You confuse me.
The very king is green.
By googling DnD Goblins and seeing several green ones on the first page
>it's just a tan bro we are actually green
t. Yellow Goblin.
>By googling
Try reading the actual books.
Oh fair.
The point from the start was that they look like goblins and that's why people called them goblins. You're the one who started sperging out about not really and skin colors and shit.
Unless you think the tree branch is green, he ain't green. He is gray.
See these goblins gathering? They are gray.
Goblins and hobgoblins are always and should always be gray.
Seriously. What is even the point in arguing this? Everyone knows that goblins are traditionally green small guys with big noses. You people are so weird. Yes they come in different colors, no that doesn't change that the default for most people are green short guys
Why are you posting yellow goblins then?
Again, the west considers realistic colors for their fantasy creature.
>moron doesn't understand how lightening works
Whew! Somehow you get more and more moronic with each post you make. Yeah, I think I'm done talking about this at all if you're just going to go full moronic denial mode.
>bro it's LE LIGHTING
How can weebs cope with the fact all DnD art uses red goblins?
not related, but this reminds me of how people call every prehistoric reptile irl a dinosaur
always kind of bugged me in ygo even though ygo at least had the decency to make some pterosaurs winged beast type
>you like things and know stuff about them? Must be autistic
I'd say the difference is the fact that you're getting upset about other people not caring. That's when you come off as autistic. If you know and understand why people are doing something but get mad anyways, it's kind of stupid.
>Patroll
>Pa Troll
>Troll
Yeah, but it defines fantasy in the confines of the setting. They are not goblins, idk why people insist on it. Is it because they're short and green? Trolls that look like little moronic midgets have been extremely common across fiction, most commonly represented by those ugly little dolls with tall hair. Classical depictions of trolls depict them literally exactly like the Plunders, short fae creatures with huge noses and large hands, including sources that are over a hundred years old. Not all trolls have to be gigantic muscular titans with clubs, that's more of an ogre thing.
Marincess CHAD deserved the win.
>vs stun troony
Forgot pic
I don't get why people seethe about eldlich. Just use Called By? He doesn't even have any effects on the field, he's just a beatstick. Get a bigger beatstick, what's he gonna do about it?
Eldlich was never the problem and you know it
I kind of assumed this was about eldlich bouncing between the GY and the board to delete a card on the board and get a 1000 ATK boost
People don't seethe about the eldlich cards themselves, since those are pretty weak by themselves, but about the 10+ floodgates in the deck.
>since those are pretty weak by themselves
No they're not.
why the frick arent these gay ass yugayoh threads banned tf out to /vg?
>new to YGO
>buddy convinced me to get started irl with an Albaz deck
>"hey, that's pretty fun"
>download MD mainly as a timewaster
>albaz stuff hasn't been added yet
Suggest something fun to play, I don't really care about the meta. The aforementioned buddy played against me with a BEWD deck and looked kinda fun, although easy to counter afaik
I've tried Virtual World but it's pretty boring, I got the CyberDragon and Dragon Maid structures from the store but I guess I'll have to swap some cards first

i like playing exosisters, mathmechs and dinosaurs
>lose a match against a floodgate Black person because I thought that There Can Be Only One was asking me to select the monster I wanted to keep
>twice
I can't believe I defended sky trannies earlier in the thread
I'm trying to research decks and how to build them, but a lot of these talk about side decks. Even specifically master duel focused sites like MasterDuelMeta are using side decks for some reason? Did side decks get added to the game while I wasn't looking?
It’s for community run tournaments with bo3 and side decks, nothing to do with master duel
>master duel based website has non master duel based tournaments and post non master duel based decks
Literally what is the fricking point? Is there another resource i can use instead?
Unfortunately, youtube videos are still pretty much your best choice.
>See Sky Striker x Eldlich deck online
>Assume it must be ultra godtier control/stun deck homosexualry
>its literally just a regular Sky Striker deck but with a single eldlich
Am i fricking missing something? This feels like a deck some rando uploaded by themselves. Literally what the frick is the point of this deck?
https://www.masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/diamond-i/july-2022/sky-striker-eldlich/hanged/7PwkD
>Opponent uses Inspector Boarder
>Never seen it before
>Can't understand its effect at all
>Opponent stalls for 3 turns until I topdeck raigeki
What the frick does boarder inspector do?
I finally obtained textman from gftp2
it doesn't seem that good but it's neat I suppose. Was it an anime card?
if you want to activate 1 monster effect you need to have at least 1 fusion xyz, link or synchro in the field. 1 additional effect activation per card type.
Ah right, i see. How the hell do stundecks topdeck it every single time then?
I love YGO but I don't want to read.
I love YGO but i hate halq into auroradon, it makes my blood boil. It's the root of all evil.
I love YGO but I hate not being able to play Dinomorphia, I just want win with 7 life points

>fusion summons from the deck
OH FRICK YOU
It’s okay because it doesn’t have Fusion in the name so no verte splashing and also Dinomorphia’s turn usually just consist of normal summoning 1 guy and setting 5 back row so they kinda need to fuse from deck.
don't worry konami will fix it by making fusion summon from side deck
This
and we only have 2 main deck monsters so its fine for us to be able to fuse from deck. It's a trap card anyway so Verte wouldn't be able to dump it even if it had fusion in the name
what do agents do except for run 3 bricks?
They summon Archlord Kristya
>unable to imperm mo ye
Did I accidentally toggle off for a second or is that just something you can't do
you absolutely can, you must have fricked up somehow
>resolve roach and token collector in turn 1
>meta slaves quits
>mfw playing shit deck with a brick hand
I love YGO but *sniff* *sniff* *sniiiiff*
Be real with me, how effective are stun decks? I'm so tired of asian names spitting out bullshit every fricking time.
Very, stun cards are the most powerful cards in the game, this is why you have to sidedeck lots of backrow removal and maindeck at least 1 out to mystic mine.
>fusion summon from the deck
>1 card xys summon
>synchro summon using token tuners
What would be the link equivalent of "lmao lets ignore the entire mechanic point"
Links that summon monsters ala Fiber and that spellcaster b***h
Code talkers can link summon using material from the hand, which I think is the closest to link hax we have
splights is essentially the lets ignore link arrows archetype
links are already bullshit
Links already ignore the idea of costs, restrictions etc. it is literally "summon monster and then activate your material's graveyard effect"
Cyberse Gadget and that other cyberse monster that shits out a token when it's sent to the GY, you also have the coder monsters that can use themselves from the hand
>synchro summon using token tuners
what? this isn't a hax, there's no synchro summon from the deck or 1 card synchros.
Swordsouls are 1 card synchros though
Their effects summon a token tuner, but they aren't 1 card synchros. You cant just normal Mo Ye and shit a white card from the extra.
except thats literally what happens?
It's not. Moye does frick all if you don't have another Swordsoul/Wyrm in hand.
They essentially are one card synchros though.
You can use whatever copout you want but it doesn't change the fact that they are one card synchro monsters
Normal Mo Ye
Mo Ye reveals Swordsoul name in hand
Materialises a tuner out of nothing
You need another card in hand to use Mo-Ye, Long Yuan's effects to summon a token while Taia needs a card in GY to banish to summon one, it's still 2 cards required but more consistent since you don't need maindeck a tuner monster
I feel like SS needs another main deck monster for more Syncro options. The little dog they have shoulda been a tuner.
Ecclesia is a tuner
Yeah, but she can't be searched.
Still 2 monsters and needs a wyrm/in-archetype card in hand. Mo Ye doesn't synchro alone.
If you destroy the token/negate Mo Ye, she wont just transform into Chixiao out of thin air like a link-1
If you negate Fusion Destiny, DPE doesn’t just fly out of the extra deck for free anyway.
Fusion Destiny summons directly from the deck. It is literally a 1 card summon, regardless of where the materials are. Your comparison is moronic. Mo Ye could use a Tenyi tuner if she wanted.
ill take what is a swordsoul for 1000!
Swordsoul
From where? Enlighten me where a Swordsoul monster alone becomes a synchro?
All of their main deck swordsoul monsters have the easiest conditions imaginable to shit out a tuner token, and they're Ash proof
Still not a single card synchro. And the conditions lock them in-archetype.
It is pathetically easy for them to get their tokens, and the main hand trap doesn't stop them. And they're only locked while the tokens are on the field. You can still drop Fusion Destiny after playing Chixao and Barrone for the millionth time
You still cant play mo ye in a PK deck and get a free synchro. Your argument means nothing. Fusion Destiny cheats fusion but Swordsouls dont cheat synchros
tri-brigades
Isn't that just Halq?
Well, the central tenet is simply "monsters on the field" so I would say archetypes like Altergeists that can link a material from the hand would be bypassing the mechanic. Fishing up extra mats is separate, so I wouldn't say that ignores the mechanic, but if something were to stipulate that you can link summon it regardless of where you have link arrows pointing, I would say that also would be ignoring the mechanic.
Link summon from Side deck
I haven't seen the battle phase in 30 battles, how do we fix ygo?
Stop playing a cancer deck.
I'm playing relinquished though
>all those chinksouls coping out their cheat system
face it, you dont run garnets and your one synchro summon lets you get the 2nd summon ready
It's more consistent because each swordsoul can shit out a tuner token, to summon a tuner token you need either another card in hand or another card in grave, it isn't free like Zoodiac.
you can pop the zoodiac before the xys summon using that logic
You see this? This is true 1 card synchro summon. BUY BLACKWINGS NOW
Your argument makes no sense, a single zoodiac can be used as the sole material for an xyz whereas the swordsoul needs to use its hopt effect (which have costs requiring other cards) to summon a token tuner.
1 card synchro summon to shit out a bad named beatstick at that.
Still 1 card, and literally any zoodiac with no restriction
>chinksoul bugs downplaying their uncontested tier 1 deck
Nice try gays
Why do they do it?
>linking dykayed
What a stupid argument. Next you’ll tell me Tri-brigades aren’t a 1 card link 4.
I'm looking forward to running her with Sucdicky.
Eldlich won, it's the only honest archetype left.
Eldlich is honest.
The cards they run with him aren’t.
>Resurrect himself making the opponent pay the price
>Immune to effect destruction
Unironically dragonmaid is the last honest archetype
Good thing my decks send or ban.
Literally a have a negate that recycles itself. Might as well be playing VW you dishonest freak
She doesn't even recycle herself, at best its a dodge and House is just an unprotected beater with ED aids so you cant summon her back once you pop her with literally any destroy effect.
>VW
lmao, imagine if the maids could special summon themselves if you have welcome.
He's a zombie, he's already dead
Anybody have a Fortune Lady list that is remotely playable?
without halqdon, aquamancer, or dpe carrying them, they are not playable
I'd love to see someone prove me wrong but it is yet to happen
Lady every is nice and fire can steal games but yeah the deck is shit, lady water is kinda the reason you play it.
I really wish Konami would help little bad decks instead of shiting more generic support for already good decks
Is kind of funny how simple can a Suship deck look, is literally three of each monster and your favorite handtraps and engines. What else could I add or change here? I'm kind of stuck.
Hungry Burger
Motherfricker.
Token collector, will let you cuck opp going first adventure (and chinksoul/auradon turbo) and can be used as suship material
Chaika archetype when?!
The water magikey xyz, it searches out vanilla suship and lets you beat over unaffected monsters
utopia package
exceed
the link 2 bujin/link spider/almiraj
>Gorillion handtraps set off trying stop twin combo.
Never stop being funny, and they generally scoop after.
do people here make their own decks? I spent the last week trying to make my own Six Samurai infinite summon deck and it's hard as frick
I made a branded eldlich deck in cardboard would it be good in MD?
MD doesn't have Branded Fusion
are graydles fun??
Was this pack the last impactful set of cards or is there more important stuff coming up other than branded fusion?
DIFO and POTE

SUICIDE GANG
It feels more in line with dino thunder than abaranger.
I love this deck. It filters bad pilots so fricking hard that is hilarious.
IKR? Big butt dino has to be the most user reliant archetype in the game since Silvan.
You should see the MTG nigergays pin all horrible things that happen to the on us!
>IKR? Big butt dino has to be the most user reliant archetype in the game since Silvan
True. And it's not even auto fellatio. You die at the drop of a hat with the deck. If you're not constantly paying attention to the game and know how to play around what kills you you're gonna die in 2 turns.
Dinomorbia flopped like that Morbius movie
Not really, it's just hard to play them this format because Masquerade is fricking gay and Vishuda exists
Speaking of Goblins, are there actually any ways to make a pure Goblin deck? Their only support is Scrounging Goblin but I always liked using Attack Force + equips for unga bunga, and it worked alright in the N/R event.
Why is it that when I set up as Marinecess, they ALWAYS have a response via spell destruction or a Kaiju? Or Cyber Dragons?
Will the upcoming support give me better protection once it’s their turn?
No, it gives you better recovery options
>People whining about SS
Yeah its strong as frick but man you won't be ready for Spirals/Tearlament down the line. Game warping levels of power creep. Tearlament might atleast lose hard to some stun decks though. Brave engine is also one of the worst things to happen to the game. Plus cards everywhere into a omni negate in another "splash" archetype where no one plays 80% of the fricking cards for it.
I don't know if I'm more excited for vampires, D/D/D, or Ancient Warrior support, pretty happy lots of my decks will get some love at one point or another.
OC from last night
Copy the last one on the middle and is perfect.
better?
make the 2nd middle pannel have an angry frown before the coombos again
I tried
Perfect
how viable are power bond variant of cyber dragons, i want to play a deck based on cyber end dragon.
well god damn, no one here plays cyber dragons ?
By the looks of it, everyone plays plunder patrolls
It's a boring gimmick deck with one play that is hardcounter by a bunch of the top tier decks.
I'm on Plat 2 and it already feels like everything is Adventurer/whatever, Birds of Chinksoul tbh
FREE HER
Too flat, will forever be in gay baby jail.
Too flat, yugioh players couldn't handle the sex appeal.
Speaking off, when was the last time a non-autopilot deck became meta defining?
actually it's raye from what I can see
must've been the manga to spike it
how many hours until the event starts? I don't know what time zone they're going by.
13 hours.
Can someone explain suicide deck works and why do it?
you build a cheap deck designed to end games ASAP without forfetting so you can get maximum gem profit
Finish matches asap and as result missions.
Back on first event everyone did since points were a pity 100, now no point in doing but they keep cards banned anyway.
>deep sea fish and jelly archetype focusing on banishing
>TCG exclusive so it won't be in MD until a year after the game dies
why are my favorite decks TCG exclusives that I'll never be able to play on MD?
when Libromancers?
Never Ever.
Beetrooper Bro BTW.
Beetrooper and libro just got announced for ogc.
ETA on this card? Infernity was my favorite deck from the anime.
History Archive Collection released in February in Japan, which was a month after Dimension Force, so around then, so... at least like 5 months probably more, it's still not out in TCG so yeah
🙁
>OCG promo from a weird side set
just like the TCG, we have no clue when we will get stuff like this in MD. you can only hope they include it in a new selection pack at complete random.
I heard the TCG is not allowed to make card arts anymore and have to use OCG scrapped ideas now. Is that true?
Just a rumor based off how shit Noble Knights sold and how the Beetroopers were apparently made by a JP artist.
I'm still waiting on this fricker in MD
>JP release: December 2019
>EN release: May 2022
Oh I just got this card irl from a box
is it good? I just stuck it next to Laplace and Copernicus because those are my only D.D.D.'s
When will they ban this shit?
it's getting tiresome.
Reminder that Mecha Phantom Beasts did nothing wrong
they should ban this criminal first
No. Synchro Solitaire is degenerate, using Halq for other plays like summoning Accesscode isn't.
go away raye
your deck doesn't deserve good things
You can't stop her
She's getting in-archetype kaiju plus linkage in MD's future at the bare minimum, and it's highly likely the other characters and battle machines in her manga arc will become cards too, at least the named ones. Especially since Aileron is already a card which means the rest of her family is ripe for the carding.
>TCG
>Ban every card around Halq
>Finally deal with auroradon
>Halq still sees play and is still broken with the free +1 and the "shit out a synchro on your opponents turn"
What's with the western heads at Konami and their love for this card?
It's Konami in general. It took 5 years for the ocg to ban him
He was just reprinted in a highly purchased tcg collector's set. That's why he can't be touched until it sells through most stock.
>What's with the western heads at Konami and their love for this card?
Not love, pity. Do you have any idea how many Mechaphantom Beasts are in the banlist despite MPB never winning anything?
What deck would Soldier Boy play?
Battlin boxer
>Opponent saw me search and set Vadis
>His deck isnt even one that does GY shenanigans
>Pulls Avarice out at the end of his MP1 for no fricking reason
>I just banish his big monster during battle phase
>He cant do shit in MP2 and now I've got 3 big sisters set on my board for my next turn
>Make him scoop when I clear whats left of his board and go into Draco Future
I went through with my really bad idea. Already ran into chinks playing bird up and adventure within the first two games I played but I'm not giving up.
Good luck, at least the fusions are kinda neat.
`>OCG is Jester format
>TGC is Clown format
>Master Duel is the entire fricking carnival
how bad will MD become the next update?
I could only imagine how horrible Cross Duel will be.
beta already exposed it'll be more predatory garbage
I don't think it's worse than duel links but it's way worse than MD for sure
Cross duel is already out
it is??
Smells like Sky Striker tears.
In Canada and some other places, yes, they advertised it (specifically for Canadians) in the Championship stream yesterday lol
the new pokemon tcg online thing came out in canada first too. are they just the beta testing ground for mobile trash?
Nah sometimes Australia gets it first instead, like with Animal Crossing Pocket Camp.

I'm tired bros, I just want to play the game without being forced to play meta in every fricking rank.
Ocg is clownier than the TCG right now
S-spright bros...what happened? I thought we were the tier zero menance, we can't be losing to these seabawds...
They only held t0 status for like a week, and the only foe to stand against them was Eldlich. I had the picture somewhere, it compared it to Spyral format.
Splights had cards hit while tearlaments got off scot-free
Check THIS out
what are some cards that can turn a non-tuner monster into a tuner monster?
some mathmech cards do that
>Go against some guy that's using a floo deck
>He plays a search card
>Adds the motherfricking head of Exodia to his hand

I love when people randomly slam exodia into decks it's not designed for
except exodia numeron
that one is mean

>specifically for canadians
That's weird. Nobody gives a shit about them.
why is this card not in the game?
It's from 2019
Promo, same for magi magi.
they don't use Kazuki art cards in the vidya games.
also Air Neos for some reason
air neos and shuttleroid are missing to avoid copyright disputes.
that is not a joke.
couldn't they just change the art for Shuttle and name for Air Neos? call him Bird Neos or something? they've changed Fairy Tale Snow art to avoid Disney's wrath and have changed plenty of card names in TCG like Frog the Jam.
i guess they could, but the cards are shit so it's probably not worth the effort to update their databases and ship out some reprints
Air Neos was reprinted at least once in the Korean ocg iirc
wiki says it only got 1 korean printing in 2008
>In November 2019, the set was re-released in South Korea in Korean. as part of a reprint season including some other old packs. It was reprinted as originally released; in its original box style.
https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Strike_of_Neos
Remember, Air Neos was once a cover mascot.
apparently air neos is still there, behind Neos himself
I don't see him though
pussy (elf (wet))
go outside.
What deck uses the most traps to win and how good is it? Traptrix?
>Uses a lot of traps and wins often
Eldlich
>Uses 99% traps and can win
Nurse Burn
traptrix pedoshit is awful. i'm glad it's nonmeta.
I've gone 5 days without Master Duel. See you losers never.
See you next week then.
I have gone longer than that but Ganker is the best place to discuss YuGiOh by far on the whole internet so…
i want to cum with b***hcrafters
It's pronounced FISH
Sometimes TCG exclusives are rad as frick. What are these? Ghoti or Deep Beyond as the archetype name?
ghoti
damn these look pretty
water best attribute
Why did Konami give Tearalments which contrary to name/design are dark aqua and another actual water archetype in Ghoti in the same set other than to confuse people?
Tears + Lament because they're sirens or something.
Ghoti is TCG-premiere and is being used as the central promoter of the set, because they know everyone who keeps up with the game already has seen all the OCG stuff and new stuff is what gets people excited.
Them being in the same set is a coincidence, but is most likely because LED9, i.e. Duels from the Deep, came out just prior to this along with a bunch of water support cards to use with them.
personally, I hope they can make a rank 4 engine for sharks.
Official video says ghoti.
Don't care, moron couldn't read. Ghoti is pronounced fish.
He said ghoti though. I heard it.
How is the o in women pronounced like i
Women is pronounced like wi·muhn
Who the frick pronounces it like that
The dictionary.
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/english/women
The dictionary is gay
women -> wimmin/wimmun generally as far as phonetics go
I have never heard anyone pronounce it like that
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=how+to+pronounce+women
sounds normal to me
Am I in another timeline? I have only heard the "wo" in women pronounced the same and in woman
im currently playing world championship 2008 and loving it, how much will i hate this game if i try it?
How the fuk sprights are from the same universe as dogmatika branded?
They are just electric fricks wearing Black person drip they looking nothing alike
i think they're the final form of springans.
honestly i think every time they come up with an ugly archetype they shove it in with the lore archetypes and make it broken, since nobody would ever play it otherwise
They are space Black folk invading, anon. BTW based japs telling those baboons that they don’t belong in this world.
TLDR the setting has light sci-fi undertones and they're electric sprites instigated by an alien AI.
but why are the sprites dressed like Black folk?
They're hooligans and ne'er do wells.
Red and Blue look like they're wearing kids clothing for example, while Carrot and Jet have more form-fitting stuff that gives them defined "bodies" instead of loose electric forms like Red and Blue.
>humanizes them
>by dressing up like the least human race
What did that anon meant?
>fantasy but is actually space magic
What kind of star god is albaz gonna become bros?
An interstellar jobber, nay, the biggest jobber in the Galaxy. I almost feel pity for Ecclesia because this would mean that she will get raped by corrupted by literally everything living in that universe.
raye is __ years old
15 because of the 2 year timeskip in the last chapter
And she didn't age at all in those 2 years.
>Only options for the new event is Generaiders (ft.Tsukinoko) or Graydle/Kaiju/Ra/Lava Golem mix since I couldn’t get the right cards for a decent Machina deck
Eldlich basically can recycle itself as a single engine in a deck with a lot of spell/traps.
So you use it for spot removal and as as a beatstick
you know you have autism when you argue what color goblins are
I'm convinced it's just one guy really fricking mad that he got BTFO so hard. Like really?
all this mtg art mogs yugishit so badly
Yugioh will never be a good game.
I came to this thread be because I saw people arguing from the Frontpage about goblins. Considering most of you are obsessed with animeshit. It was about damn time someone stomped your homosexual asses.
MTG won, and goblins will never be green.
>hairy goblin
Finally, I didn't think any games actually did these properly.
Anime website troony
and I support blm trans rights
>western trannies
You are all autistic. Post melffy.
POST GHOTI
So what does this deck do? I really love the art.
Cope and seethe, shitter. Until you can tell me how both the goblin KINGS I've posted aren't green, you lose
That's the only card we know the effects of, they just posted the art of the other ones
WE DON'T FRICKIN' KNOW WHAT IT DOES, ALL WE KNOW IS THAT THEY'RE SPACE GHOTI
Nothing yet, it just got revealed and is set to come out on August. All we know is that it's a bunch of Fish, revolve around banishing and synchro shokan on the opponent's turn.
Free me
This was banned cause of mine wasn't it? Could it come back
Okay
Thats not a real book.
It was banned because there are too many good field spells in the game and because you can lock out your opponent from being able to use their own.
Same reason for terraforming being limited to one.
>It was banned because there are too many good field spells in the game and because you can lock out your opponent from being able to use their own.
Yeah but most of them you can just either ignore or flip up and then play your own over it, right?
Do...do you actually have color blindness? Mean that sucks, anon.
What color is the tree, anon?
Anon, I want you to realize that 1) green tree branches exist and 2) you shouldn't have to look at something compared to something else to know what color something is
So you think the dead tree branch the goblin is standing on, is green?
If I put kaiju tower on your side it's like I have 2 field spells at once
not really. it's limited in real formats and still isn't used anywhere.
having to run the zefra field as a garnet isn't even worth it for the one copy of set rotation you can run at maximum.
Don't care but I'd rail the tiny green Plunder Patroll girl.
her nose would poke you during it
That's okay. She could use a mating press.
Anon, she's too small for your hulking meat stick. You'll skewer her!
Her 2000 DEF body can take my 2000 ATK pounding despite the scale.
You know what? Fair enough, Anon. I forgot we just got Isekai'd by the notaqua, and we actually got stats now.
What I'd do to Lee and the Fortune Fairies might be a bit more questionable but Adventurer confirms Goldenhair is a perfect fit.
Jesus, Anon. I... I hope you had fun in your adventure, then.
Thank you. Aqua knew the risks summoning me.
>Marry Goldenhair
>take over the entire pirate crew once Blackbeard retires
>get cute goblin / human hybrid kids
>spend your remaining days sailing the grand seas and finding lots of pic related
Sounds like a happy ending to an adventure to me
true plus blackbeard, red, and white seem like bros
>get cute goblin / human hybrid kids
>goldenhair gets cucked by the pot merchant that visited the ship
brave-sama...
YA YO YA YOOO
GOBLINS!
THEY'RE GREEN AS GRASS
GOBLINS!
THEY'RE TOTALLY NOT TROLLS
GOBLINS!
I'M NOT COLOURBLIND!
HERE'S HOW THE STORY GOES, YOU'LL FIND OUT
ANON ISEKAI'D IN AND FOUND SOME GOBBOS, NO DOUBT
FOUND HIM SELF A GOLDENHAIRED CUTIE!
HE WAS READY TO PLUNDER HER BOOTY!
YA YO YA YOOOO!
Green trolls don't exist?
Reminds me of those threads where people air their grievances
>anon tries to help a point
>ends up making it look worse because there's something fundamentally wrong with the supporting argument
You'll never get Troll out of the name though.
Unironically if you found the gobbos you'd probably be better off. They have a stable society and live like regular humans in YGO, while the trolls are living risky pirate life.
>Lee
Would go right through her, she controls her projectors consciously. She'd be fine and you'd be disappointed.
>Fortune Fairies
You can't do this anon, they're innocent. They have full size human bodies, just wait a turn or two please.
But they're much more appealing in their original forms and I need to show them appreciation since they've never been in a deck.
reconsider
don't make me summon Every
she'd die anon
Am I just bad at finding yugioh card porn, or is there nothing with her?
Goblins ill like fire!
Wolves hunt in packs!
>Yeah but most of them you can just either ignore or flip up and then play your own over it, right?
If you can legally activate it? The typical idea however was to give you a card with a mandatory search effect like Oracle of Zefra which you wouldn't be able to flip up because you have no valid targets in deck.
>If you can legally activate it?
Ahh. Fair.
First off it's not dead, it's just not fully drawn. Second off, yes it's green. That doesn't really change anything since green is a fricking color and people know that it looks like.
>First off it's not dead
Lol this is pathetic.
So you think the goblin is using a bow while in the middle of the tree foliage? Are you fricking moronic?
I think you're reaching very very hard right now and might actually be color blind IRL
>reaching.
Oh, the irony.
Anon, he is standing on a dead tree, the artist went out of his way to draw each branch as dead as possible. The goblin is on a swamp, and the lighting indicates he is the same color as the tree, gray and decayed looked.
Dead trees aren't even gray bro. I think you might actually be colorblind
>Dead trees aren't even gray bro
Go outside, touch grass.
>Touch grass
NTA, but there it is. One of the signs of normalhomosexualry.
So what are you saying? The artist intended for the goblin in that pic to be grey when it's clearly green?
That branch doesn't look anything like the branch in that pic which isn't even fully drawn so you can't tell if its attached to a tree or not. For example that branch is actually dead while the pic isn't.
Also it doesn't change the fact that the artist drew the goblin as clearly green anyways and you have colorblindness
Anon, do you know what number is shown here?
Not him but is that a fake one? I can sorta see an 8 but it's not as clear as those usually are. I know for a fact I'm not color blind as well.
I also see the pseudo-8 there and I've taken tests (also not that anon) that confirm I'm not color blind. That goblin is indeed green though.
HA ANON IS COLORBLIND
It could just be his monitor.
The goblin is green though, yeah. He should test it here.
https://redketchup.io/color-picker
sampling the color shows that it is in fact olive-green
I'm on your side here but unfortunately the goblin is green, at least on the lighter sections of it (otherwise it's actually brown, but that's just the light).
Anon, please go see a doctor. You might actually have colorblindness.
All Water cards are frens
I've had this in my graydle deck for ages and don't think I've ever drawn it
I have a couple of times, it’s nice in a pinch
Half the thread is just a couple of autist arguing goblin semantics
>game is so shit the thread just argues about goblins
It's an mtgtroony shitting the thread up because his game is so shit and he has nothing better to do
>MTG angels are all various shades of black
>Yugioh angels come in every color of the rainbow
That's true diversity you poor deluded troons
>anon found out in a thread about dumb card games that he's colorblind
Yikes
this is what playing magic the dilating does to your brain
what a strange thread
so are they goblins or trolls?
PIRATES!
goblins, he's an autist and has no clue on what he is talking about.
source:trust me bro, i know.
Slayer, I promise you they're not goblins. Please do not kill goldenhair.
Before thread dies, I proclaim my love for Edea.
