what do you mean open with a dragon and parlor/chamber if I can only normal summon one maid? this is what im running rn. Generally what should my first move be? getting changeover in the GY or getting big dragons in the GY/hand? am I looking to get sheo out post battle phase for my next turn? I can generally do that if I leave a big dragon on the board after the battle phase.
You draw a dragon in your opening hand. Then:
-If you have Chamber summon her and search Changeover
-If you have parlor summon her and dump Changeover in the GY, then use Changeover's GY effect to pull the spell and parlor back to hand.

Guardragon is a good card but the Pisty combo is not consistent at all, reduce it to 1. Noctovision is a great card as either Sheou material or to summon Spheres and give you an extra draw so add 2. Why are you carrying Mudragon and Starving Venom if you don't have Super Polymerization? Either remove them or add 2 Super Poly. Replace Phoenix for Unicorn. Dragon's Mirror at 1 can also be a very good backup fusion card.

Prioritize summoning Sheou, if you can't because you didn't draw Changeover and/or Parlor or Chamber got negated, try summoning Spheres if you have a revival card by linking into Pisty/Striker, reviving a dragon and linking into Spheres. As a tip, don't be afraid of using Darkness Metal as Spheres material, a 2800 ATK beatstick will be plain useless when your opponent can easily get rid of it when you're going first.
An extra tip, Downtime can be chained to Tidying and use the same dragon to bounce back because Tidying doesn't have the "and if you do" condition, so if you use Tidying first and then chain Downtime, both effects will trigger and you'll only have to bounce back one of your monsters. If I recall correctly, Changeover's second effect can also chain to Downtime because Changeover's "and if you do" condition is placed after Changeover is returned back to your hand, so you can trigger Changeover and chain Downtime and both effects should activate too, extremely useful since you can recover your fusion card back AND search for any maid card from your deck.

I run decks that can search on the opponent's turn to bait out the ass blossom. To guarantee mileage out of max sneed you need to understand how certain decks summon. Chinksouls have to reveal cards as the activation requirement to special summon whilst Phantom Knights don't really need to commit and can instead use a GY effect to fetch Fog Blade from their deck and pass.
Imagine a deck like Virtual World and Prank-Kids that has no effects that activate on Normal Summon. They'd be able to run the Adventurer engine to get access to Gryphon Rider, an omni-negate to insulate them from stuff like Nibiru or other hand traps thay they're usually weak to.
I use a glossy one. She does exactly what you think (dumps 3 staples instead of maids I want in GY) but it has worked out sometimes because I don't usually want the staples past turn 1.
Popping Swordsoulless Tingtong and Mingmong after they activate their effects, leaving them with a token that cucks the out of link plays. Popping a field spells. Getting rid of Phantom Knight link/xyz monsters and denying them of extenders.
Only the GY effects. If they aren't in there already then too bad so bad for them

I wouldn't say theyre more popular, hero players just have thicker skin compared to blue eyes players.
Herogays grew up playing yugioh during the teleDAD era so they are more resilient to meta homosexualry, unlike blue eyes/DM gays who swear their playground card games was the definative way to duel. In the end the latter ended up quiting the game once they discovered the sorry state of the meta, while the former kept adapting.

Pure adventurer simply doesn't have a wincon, so you need non archetypal extra deck bosses monster, probably something like Auroradon turbo to supplement your adventurer deck

How are you playing Colossus without hard drawing Corridor. You can't even use TD Fusion until turn 3 and by then the game should be over. Just Corridor and add the 3rd field spell, with one less kid you need as much consistency as you can get.
Don't listen them, you doesn't need colossus anon, you can use nemeses to recycle banished elf then use nemeses + link spider that get summoned using adventurer token to link summon verte to special summon DPE, after Gryphon get shuffled to deck to negate any interruption at your turn if you going first

Branded isn't really a compact deck that you can add adventure + fusion deck such as despia while you need to consider handtraps etc. Making it a pile deck is really sucks too since it becames fusion locked so you can't into sneedlefiber.
Once Branded Fusion comes out you can cut down on most of the Despia cards, and the cards you can run are really good. Tragedy is excellent discard fodder in Shaddoll decks.
Branded Adventure (Otherwise referred to as Branded Despia) topped the OCG for months until Splights came out.
So yeah, I'd say it works though apparently not until the Branded Structure deck comes out along with some key support.

I get that some stuff is really splashable but I didn't know they existed before I used up all of my resources. I spent $350 on master packs to get enough UR to craft 3 Infinite Impermanence and then bought the Imperm pack 2 months later to get another UR

Almost all the staples have budget versions. Droll and lockbird instead of ash), DD crow and Skull meister instead of Called/Ghost Belle, Forbidden Chalice instead of Droplet and so on.

Not having literally EVERY SINGLE STAPLE will not kill your deck or render you incapable of climbing ranked (hell, most decks don't even fricking run most staples other than Ash and Maxx "C" or at most run maybe one other staple at 3 like Solemn, Droplet, Effect Vieler or Imperm).
Will it SLIGHTLY lower your win percentage to not have 3 Droplet? Maybe, but it's not enough to matter as long as you play well, you'll climb anyway.
So far I've pulled 1 Crossout, 1 Nibiru and got 1 Imperm from the Bundle.
Stop obsessing over having an exact 1-1 copy of some meta deck you saw online you fricking scrub.

Also adding on to that, the reason most decks can afford to run that many handtraps is that they usually have one-card combos, so they can afford drawing lots of hand traps since they just need a single card to start their plays.
If you play something like Monarchs for example, you really can't afford to run a lot of hand traps since you'll just brick even harder. You need to draw tribute fodder, you need to draw your monarchs, you need to draw your monarch spells, etc. Whereas Invoked just needs to draw Aleister, or Magical Meltdown, or Terraforming, and end on Mechaba--the rest of the hand can be used for hand traps.

You get 40 gems per mission and 4 missions per day along with the daily login bonus which is normally 20 gems. That's 180 per day or a ten pack of cards per week.
You get even more gems and UR points from the season pass which pays itself off and the timed events give a shitload.
My first 60 UR was crafting 2 extra Ash Blossoms after I got the special offer.
Unless you're going to play literally 1 deck you make the generic good shit first because it can be filler in almost anything.

I can't bother taking this game seriously, I can only stand seeing the Ching-chong to Bing-bong line so many times before it's not even worth playing beyond dailies, Platinum is absolutely fricking unbearable now.
Oh I'm sure it's bad all around, it's just trying to rank up after getting KoG just doesn't feel worth, it's not fun fighting literally the same deck a dozen times in a row that will still sack you occasionally with god openings even if you get a good hand, just miserable.
I play Swordsoul and other meta decks and I deliberately never rank out of Gold because there's no reason/benefit to me doing so (you get the same amount of rank-up rewards for going from Silver V-Gold I as you get for going from Plat V - Diamond I so why the frick would I make this harder on myself?)
I will continue to do this until Konami provides some kind of tangible motivation for me to rank up any higher than this (seriously though, they need to have gem rewards for ranking up increase at higher ranks, it pushes people playing top decks to the top of the ladder, literally every other digital TCG does this).
Not everyone on day 1 read up on Master Duel's le autism man's tutorial on how to spend your gems as F2P to optimally make decks and craft staples. Give him a break.

Heroes mostly run one poly, two destiny fusions, and 3 mask changes.
Negating Vyon's poly search stops them from getting sunrise out for miracle fusion + a 2-draw from liquid soldier, and even then you can negate earlier faris's effect or advancer's special summon if you really want to.
Their link plays are useless if they dont have a d hero in the graveyard(cross crusader search) and wonder driver only grabs poly/mask change from the graveyard

Fairy tail are on the same secret pack with ancient warrior. So you can play ancient warrior at least while making luna kaiju. It's pretty solid deck at least and doesn't really spend your morbillion hours doing combo unlike six-sam.

You need the Kaijus and Luna to make it work. I'd go for the kaiju danger pack first since you can craft Luna
Here's why Luna is important >Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; your opponent can send 1 card with that monster's name from their Deck or Extra Deck to the GY to negate this effect, otherwise return both this card and that monster to the hand.
What the deck does is it uses the UR kaiju with the highest attack to remove something from the field. Then Luna comes on to the field and uses it's effect on the Kaiju. Since no one else uses the UR kaiju you get the Kaiju back and can do it again the next turn
You uses shit like danger big foot and danger thunderbird as big bodies and then you can go into standard level 8 plays

Yes Luna is just a single fairy tail card. And yeah you run 3 of her because she's that important for the deck
So when I say standard 8 plays I just mean ED monsters with generic summoning requirements. So like Dingirsu who can give you a non-targeting send to the graveyard effect so very powerful removal, or another example is Draglubion who lets you go for an OTK. If you look up a deck online you'll see what I mean. But basically you're ED will be a toolbox
The danger cards need to discard a card to summon themselves from the hand so often you'll go through cards very quickly. Snow gets used more in grass looks greener decks though. I think Kaiju Luna just uses her as a tech option.
Gizmek Orochi is another Level 8 monster that does something similar which the deck uses (also a UR kek)

It's a free body every turn provided you have the cards in the grave for it.
Thats why some use either Reasoning or Grass is Greener to dump cards and Snow to the grave

I was impatient so I spent money to build an additional deck that I wanted on release. It was a single-secret-pack deck and it costed me almost all of the deals to build (like $100? total). The gem prices in this game are ridiculous. I never spent money again and I don't plan to ever do it with these prices.

Ehhhh, that's not what I mean. I've seen people pull out their ideal card with only one special summon for example and I can't do shit. Or their perfect board with only normal summons. It feels like I never use maxx c in a way that's actually effective.
The only time I did use it against a combo deck was against a d/d/d deck that made me draw like 15 cards and for sole reason none of my negated worked. They had three 6000 ATK monsters on the board and best the shit out of me. Should I just take maxx c out? At best it just gets me another card

Even for true draco deck you need your spell card to get extra tribute (normal) summon, let alone invoker that need link summon
What IS small world? Or rather, what's the point? From the looks of it you spend 3 cards to add one to your hand, but the restrictions are kind of strict? I'm not really seeing the value here, unless you only run a mono type/attribute deck. Inguess it might be useful for gimmick decks like time lords too?
Sky Strikers. Most of my cards are spells, does small world work for that? I also play traptrix but I don't care about getting monsters in my hand, I want more traps.
I also play some other stuff like eldlich but there is no issue summoning eldlich. The only benefit I could see this working is maybe Virtual World?

Okay, you don't have any way to search Raye in your hand besides Small World and Ash. You are going first. Obviously it's not gonna take over the meta or anything but I hope to eventually get a fully functional Isekai deck that is at least somewhat competitive (though for that to happen the archetype is in serious need of a competent boss monster/wincon).
I know it probably won't happen, but I can hope and making new support less splashable prevents it from getting banned/limited.

Branded got a Structure Deck because it's the main big lore of OCG Series 11 that has spanned all the Core sets and Konami has been focusing more on game lore now that the TCG/OCG are no longer tied to an anime, so this is one of the main things they push now.

No, there's a good reason most scientists are fricking horrified of the possibility of a genuinely sapient AI. If that kind of shit is connected to the internet then it will be smarter than all of humanity in a matter of minutes. No code is ever full-proof and the AI would be able to almost instantly find any vulnerabilities in its own code and bypass its restrictions them in ways we do not yet know are possible.

Look at the Demon Core and realize that no matter what, humanity will find a way to frick something up if it is not 100% moron-proof.
Not to mention that with enough processing speed the AI could probably deactivate the kill-switch before anyone can react. Only real way to protect ourselves from a high-level AI is not making one in the first place or locking it in a box with no access to any connection to the outside world.

In this setting, both sides had access to incredibly destructive weapon systems that relied on a human operator and could not be used by robots.
In exterminating all the humans on one side, the other would essentially have the war in the bag even if the other had all the other robots in the world. Therefore both sides used anti-human weapons as their primary offensive and it worked a little too well.

I only read the rough translation of the chapter, it seems that Roze is being made from samples gathered from Spectra fighting Raye so that they can form a person to use their own Sky Striker system against Raye.
Sky Striker is a weapon system only usable by humans so Spectra is at a massive disadvantage and Raye is slaughtering their forces with ease. Roze, even as an artificial human, probably can use Sky Striker too.

I don't really know about @ignister so I have no idea if that's something you actually would do but that's how the card works. Basically, the card in the middle has to bridge between the card in hand and the one you want in hand by sharing one trait with each.
I'm trying to figure out how to to use this in Super Quants, which is a nightmare since a lot of the monsters have completely unique traits from each other. I should probably just stick with Alphan
ignister has a couple of bricks you can swap out (gatchiri and danmari) and since you have 6 starters with different attributes that share a type it's possible to focus solely on the stats for your bridge
They will be way more oppressive since they can tribute away your monsters as the cost for summoning. Which means no negate or protection. They go in and they go in raw
Floo stunlocks you with Empen and Dimension Shifter and doesn't special summon. The result is that it attacks you on an axis most decks are extremely weak against, and without the ability to side, is probably going to be one of the most obnoxious decks to deal with in a Bo1 meta.
they don't special summon and their monsters banish themselves when they would be sent to the gy. this makes a lot of common cards do nothing to them. most decks would scoop to vanity's emptyness + macro cosmos, but flunder is completely unphased.
just like every other tribute summon deck in yugioh, the birds can run a whole bunch of obnoxious floodgates and consistency cards to frick with you
what makes the birds even more obnoxious is that they can also run shit like macro cosmos and dshifter for free since they 1) banish themselves instead of going to gy 2) recur resources from the banish pile anyway. they can also access really obnoxious cards like harpie's feather storm (vfd but a trap and for wind winged best monster) and barrier statue because they're wind winged beasts. also they can tribute summon on your turn and use mega raiza to bounce your shit like mad
the upside is that while they laugh at the roach they get utterly btfo by literally every other handtrap + board breakers

You play decks that give you the matches you like. I like playing strikers, because I like longer games and grinding people out. Others like to play meme OTKs like Kaiju Crusadia or UA, because it's fun to realise the great truth of Yugioh - there is no boardstate that cannot be resolved by just hitting something really, really hard.
Not if Slugger is swinging with Powered Jersey. That's the entire schtick of UA. Pump up something like Slugger, slap on the Jersey, then Murder your opponent with a 3300 ATK Armades that attacks twice and does double battle damage. There are only two UA cards posted in this thread, and they're both in the same conversation regarding how enough damage beats every boardstate. I'd recommend remedial reading lessons, but you're playing master duel so I suppose all hope is lost for you.
Expect everyone to be using 3 Ash and maybe even Ghost ogre to try to stop you since your deck will be everywhere in the meta. Feather storm will stop those attempts. If you get impermed you'll still be able to use it against something else with a birb on the field.
Feather Storm doesnt activate from the hand unless you control Harpie. Enpen is already a floodgate and you need to draw Storm, you dont have ways to search it.
Yes, you can do the same with Imperial Order, or Vanity, or Macro Cosmos. Crazy right?
Point is, you can, but its not as worth the slot as you think it is.

Harpist is situationally better than Raiza you won't always have the continuous spell on the field to help you with Raiza plays. They're both basically garnets though and Raiza has a much better pay off.

With something like 3 Raye 1 Roze 2 Engage 1 ROTA 1 Hornet, you have a 76% chance of opening with a starter (and 85% if you run 3 Roze). It's genuinely one of the most consistent decks of its era.

You draw a dragon in your opening hand. Then:
-If you have Chamber summon her and search Changeover
-If you have parlor summon her and dump Changeover in the GY, then use Changeover's GY effect to pull the spell and parlor back to hand.

Guardragon is a good card but the Pisty combo is not consistent at all, reduce it to 1. Noctovision is a great card as either Sheou material or to summon Spheres and give you an extra draw so add 2. Why are you carrying Mudragon and Starving Venom if you don't have Super Polymerization? Either remove them or add 2 Super Poly. Replace Phoenix for Unicorn. Dragon's Mirror at 1 can also be a very good backup fusion card.

Prioritize summoning Sheou, if you can't because you didn't draw Changeover and/or Parlor or Chamber got negated, try summoning Spheres if you have a revival card by linking into Pisty/Striker, reviving a dragon and linking into Spheres. As a tip, don't be afraid of using Darkness Metal as Spheres material, a 2800 ATK beatstick will be plain useless when your opponent can easily get rid of it when you're going first.
An extra tip, Downtime can be chained to Tidying and use the same dragon to bounce back because Tidying doesn't have the "and if you do" condition, so if you use Tidying first and then chain Downtime, both effects will trigger and you'll only have to bounce back one of your monsters. If I recall correctly, Changeover's second effect can also chain to Downtime because Changeover's "and if you do" condition is placed after Changeover is returned back to your hand, so you can trigger Changeover and chain Downtime and both effects should activate too, extremely useful since you can recover your fusion card back AND search for any maid card from your deck.

I run decks that can search on the opponent's turn to bait out the ass blossom. To guarantee mileage out of max sneed you need to understand how certain decks summon. Chinksouls have to reveal cards as the activation requirement to special summon whilst Phantom Knights don't really need to commit and can instead use a GY effect to fetch Fog Blade from their deck and pass.
Imagine a deck like Virtual World and Prank-Kids that has no effects that activate on Normal Summon. They'd be able to run the Adventurer engine to get access to Gryphon Rider, an omni-negate to insulate them from stuff like Nibiru or other hand traps thay they're usually weak to.

This is a take as worthless as taking metacharts from duel links
Branded isn't really a compact deck that you can add adventure + fusion deck such as despia while you need to consider handtraps etc. Making it a pile deck is really sucks too since it becames fusion locked so you can't into sneedlefiber.
Once Branded Fusion comes out you can cut down on most of the Despia cards, and the cards you can run are really good. Tragedy is excellent discard fodder in Shaddoll decks.
Branded Adventure (Otherwise referred to as Branded Despia) topped the OCG for months until Splights came out.
So yeah, I'd say it works though apparently not until the Branded Structure deck comes out along with some key support.

Not having literally EVERY SINGLE STAPLE will not kill your deck or render you incapable of climbing ranked (hell, most decks don't even fricking run most staples other than Ash and Maxx "C" or at most run maybe one other staple at 3 like Solemn, Droplet, Effect Vieler or Imperm).
Will it SLIGHTLY lower your win percentage to not have 3 Droplet? Maybe, but it's not enough to matter as long as you play well, you'll climb anyway.
So far I've pulled 1 Crossout, 1 Nibiru and got 1 Imperm from the Bundle.
Stop obsessing over having an exact 1-1 copy of some meta deck you saw online you fricking scrub.
This. I actually did craft a ton of staples and I kind of regret it because the decks I play don't have more than 8-10 slots, for them, which are almost entirely taken by Maxx C, Ash and CBTG.
Also adding on to that, the reason most decks can afford to run that many handtraps is that they usually have one-card combos, so they can afford drawing lots of hand traps since they just need a single card to start their plays.
If you play something like Monarchs for example, you really can't afford to run a lot of hand traps since you'll just brick even harder. You need to draw tribute fodder, you need to draw your monarchs, you need to draw your monarch spells, etc. Whereas Invoked just needs to draw Aleister, or Magical Meltdown, or Terraforming, and end on Mechaba--the rest of the hand can be used for hand traps.
I hate to tell you this, but there was one Whale Anon that spent $550.

when you play awhile you eventually have a lot of extra UR because you can transfer more and more cards from one deck to another. Like once you have shit like IP:Masq, Knightmare Unicorn, and Accesscode crafted that's it. You have those for every deck and you don't need to craft them anymore
I've been playing since Launch.
By playing the game since day 1.
You get 40 gems per mission and 4 missions per day along with the daily login bonus which is normally 20 gems. That's 180 per day or a ten pack of cards per week.
You get even more gems and UR points from the season pass which pays itself off and the timed events give a shitload.

My first 60 UR was crafting 2 extra Ash Blossoms after I got the special offer.
Unless you're going to play literally 1 deck you make the generic good shit first because it can be filler in almost anything.

For examples, 3 ashes / 3 Maxx C is mandatory like 99% of the time, but some deck only run 3 ashes / 2 maxx c.
2 is the absolute minimum for most staples. It is safe to have that much not matter what staple and it is (YOU) who decide if you need three.
Crossout is better assuming you're running adventure itself. Just negate aramesir.

I play Swordsoul and other meta decks and I deliberately never rank out of Gold because there's no reason/benefit to me doing so (you get the same amount of rank-up rewards for going from Silver V-Gold I as you get for going from Plat V - Diamond I so why the frick would I make this harder on myself?)
I will continue to do this until Konami provides some kind of tangible motivation for me to rank up any higher than this (seriously though, they need to have gem rewards for ranking up increase at higher ranks, it pushes people playing top decks to the top of the ladder, literally every other digital TCG does this).
I do the same, but I always derank from gold 1 and then play a shit deck afterward because winning / lossing doesn't affect my gem's income.
Plus, people tend to scoop faster against meta deck, my pure kaiju can do some dailies faster.

Heroes mostly run one poly, two destiny fusions, and 3 mask changes.
Negating Vyon's poly search stops them from getting sunrise out for miracle fusion + a 2-draw from liquid soldier, and even then you can negate earlier faris's effect or advancer's special summon if you really want to.
Their link plays are useless if they dont have a d hero in the graveyard(cross crusader search) and wonder driver only grabs poly/mask change from the graveyard

Fairy tail are on the same secret pack with ancient warrior. So you can play ancient warrior at least while making luna kaiju. It's pretty solid deck at least and doesn't really spend your morbillion hours doing combo unlike six-sam.

Here's why Luna is important

What the deck does is it uses the UR kaiju with the highest attack to remove something from the field. Then Luna comes on to the field and uses it's effect on the Kaiju. Since no one else uses the UR kaiju you get the Kaiju back and can do it again the next turn
You uses shit like danger big foot and danger thunderbird as big bodies and then you can go into standard level 8 plays
The archetype is fairy tail. Luna is one of them and snow is another. Snow is good because she's not once per turn so you can continuously use her for combo material over and over.

Yes Luna is just a single fairy tail card. And yeah you run 3 of her because she's that important for the deck
So when I say standard 8 plays I just mean ED monsters with generic summoning requirements. So like Dingirsu who can give you a non-targeting send to the graveyard effect so very powerful removal, or another example is Draglubion who lets you go for an OTK. If you look up a deck online you'll see what I mean. But basically you're ED will be a toolbox
The danger cards need to discard a card to summon themselves from the hand so often you'll go through cards very quickly. Snow gets used more in grass looks greener decks though. I think Kaiju Luna just uses her as a tech option.
Gizmek Orochi is another Level 8 monster that does something similar which the deck uses (also a UR kek)

If that kind of shit is connected to the internet then it will be smarter than all of humanity in a matter of minutes. No code is ever full-proof and the AI would be able to almost instantly find any vulnerabilities in its own code and bypass its restrictions them in ways we do not yet know are possible.
That's why humans should motor it 24 hours with their fingers constantly in the kill switch that blows up said IA the mere micro second it acts funny.
We can't even have security guards protect presidents and world leaders properly, how are we going to monitor a non physical AI entity?

I only read the rough translation of the chapter, it seems that Roze is being made from samples gathered from Spectra fighting Raye so that they can form a person to use their own Sky Striker system against Raye.
Sky Striker is a weapon system only usable by humans so Spectra is at a massive disadvantage and Raye is slaughtering their forces with ease. Roze, even as an artificial human, probably can use Sky Striker too.

it's called "small world" because an english-speaker will often say "it's a small world" if he meets an entirely new person who knows a person he knows
ex: you start work at a new place and you find out one of your coworkers used to date your cousin
small world is a -1 but combined with hand trap staples it basically allows you to search any lv3, lv1, light, earth, 0 ATK, or fire monster. if you want to get fancy it allows you to glue engines together more effectively, like if you wanted to play pendulumgoodstuff
Small world involves three monsters. The one in the hand (lets call it Start), and two in the deck (Bridge and End). When you activate Small World, you reveal Start. Then you search your deck for Bridge - a monster that matches exactly one property of Start (Atk/Def/Type/Attribute/Level). Then, you add End to your hand (a monster that shares exactly one property with Bridge). Finally, banish Start and Bridge face down.
Let's say you really want Achichi. You banish Ash Blossom from hand, pick something that shares a level with Ash, so Bururu. Banish that and add to your hand something that shares a different trait with Bururu, which would be Achichi since they are both Cyberse.
I don't really know about @ignister so I have no idea if that's something you actually would do but that's how the card works. Basically, the card in the middle has to bridge between the card in hand and the one you want in hand by sharing one trait with each.
I'm trying to figure out how to to use this in Super Quants, which is a nightmare since a lot of the monsters have completely unique traits from each other. I should probably just stick with Alphan
ignister has a couple of bricks you can swap out (gatchiri and danmari) and since you have 6 starters with different attributes that share a type it's possible to focus solely on the stats for your bridge

They will be way more oppressive since they can tribute away your monsters as the cost for summoning. Which means no negate or protection. They go in and they go in raw
Birds don't really worry much about the graveyard and will shit on them from up in sky with extreme prejudice.
Who is she?
Floo stunlocks you with Empen and Dimension Shifter and doesn't special summon. The result is that it attacks you on an axis most decks are extremely weak against, and without the ability to side, is probably going to be one of the most obnoxious decks to deal with in a Bo1 meta.
they don't special summon and their monsters banish themselves when they would be sent to the gy. this makes a lot of common cards do nothing to them. most decks would scoop to vanity's emptyness + macro cosmos, but flunder is completely unphased.
just like every other tribute summon deck in yugioh, the birds can run a whole bunch of obnoxious floodgates and consistency cards to frick with you
what makes the birds even more obnoxious is that they can also run shit like macro cosmos and dshifter for free since they 1) banish themselves instead of going to gy 2) recur resources from the banish pile anyway. they can also access really obnoxious cards like harpie's feather storm (vfd but a trap and for wind winged best monster) and barrier statue because they're wind winged beasts. also they can tribute summon on your turn and use mega raiza to bounce your shit like mad
the upside is that while they laugh at the roach they get utterly btfo by literally every other handtrap + board breakers

I have fun playing Witchcrafters+Silent magician and somehow still winning against sweaty stuff like dytron, tri-brigade and birds.
You play decks that give you the matches you like. I like playing strikers, because I like longer games and grinding people out. Others like to play meme OTKs like Kaiju Crusadia or UA, because it's fun to realise the great truth of Yugioh - there is no boardstate that cannot be resolved by just hitting something really, really hard.

Expect everyone to be using 3 Ash and maybe even Ghost ogre to try to stop you since your deck will be everywhere in the meta. Feather storm will stop those attempts. If you get impermed you'll still be able to use it against something else with a birb on the field.
Empen only stops attack position special summoned cards. Feather storm takes care of everything else.
Feather Storm doesnt activate from the hand unless you control Harpie. Enpen is already a floodgate and you need to draw Storm, you dont have ways to search it.

Harpist is situationally better than Raiza you won't always have the continuous spell on the field to help you with Raiza plays. They're both basically garnets though and Raiza has a much better pay off.

With something like 3 Raye 1 Roze 2 Engage 1 ROTA 1 Hornet, you have a 76% chance of opening with a starter (and 85% if you run 3 Roze). It's genuinely one of the most consistent decks of its era.
