the grass build sucks, you just play the 40card variant, here is my list and i would add adventure when i finally get the cards, also a good consideration is running floodgates for the floo match or gamma/called by, it sucks you cant really run lancea but ehh this deck will beat all the moronic shit that isnt floo anyway.
evo pill doesn't go off much but with lost world you can destory the other baby to get pankertops onto the field for a disruption or if you have dinos in grave you can use misc and another dino to make a baby then at the end phase get a search because baby gets destoryed
im also running 3 dark hole to destory babies
im bring out uct legt more because games are slower and because oviraptor can search ANY dino

most important thing is not waste time, either win fast or lose fast. if you are being efficient you will finish the event in 2:30 hrs

you could probably get rid of max c and the archfiend pend card, i just left them in from when i was using small world because an earth dino could search you a kaiju and a light handtrap could search you a dino
also not running giant rex because you're searching for other shit not a random extender, i just thought it was a brick in this ruleset
oviraptor can pop to bring back ANY dino
tyrano infinity is good have in the later turns when you finally have a chance to break their board with uct, just doing it with a misc from graveyard gets you a 4k beater, helps you close games quicker

For one you're running way too many kaijus. Even actual Luna Kaiju and Gren Maju decks tend to run 6 (2 Gameciel, Gadarla, and Dogoran), yet you're on 10. Another thing is that you're playing what should be an OTK deck with a bunch of cards that do nothing to help you OTK, such as Evenly Matched, the Brave package, Skill Drain, Called By, and even Ash Blossom. When you're playing a board-breaking deck with cards like Kaijus and Dangers you can forgo weaker hand-traps like Ash, etc. At the end of the day, if you're just going to tribute your opponent's boss monster then you can let them fool around and do their searches that let them bring it out. Maxx C, Dimension Shifter, Nibiru, and Gamma are the only HTs I'd bother using. It's hard to give recommendations on what you should use, though, since you're clearly on a budget and a lot of the relevant cards that you should be using, like Trade-In, a third Bigfoot, Alpha the Master of Beasts, et al. are URs.
I appreciate the advice, and you're right I am on a budget. However you're replying to me 3 or 4 hours later and I already made a Benkei deck out of N and R rarity cards, and I'm halfway through with the event. I do appreciate the advice though and I'll keep it in mind next time I try using kaiju again.

pacifis seems to be in a good match up against the birds. Searchable mst, and imperm destroys floos. super natural danger zone wins you against the adventure match-up.
Been playing a lot of older yu-gi-oh games and was thinking about trying this one since it’s newer and free. How’s the deck building if I want to drop as little money as possible?
With the initial batch of gems you can either make like 2-3 reasonably priced decks or like half a hero deck.
Your only issue is you're kinda locked out making some specific decks since the packs they're in already passed by and it's too expensive crafting everything from those archetypes rather than just pulling for them.
You can start pretty much any time. You don't really need to reroll if you know what deck you're making.
If you just want to play without thinking much about what deck you need to make you can play in the event right now since they allow you to use pre-built decks.
The event does have a catch where there's no extra deck though so it doesn't represent ladder meta.

I have no idea how to activate either of those, I never understood how to pop scythe on the opponent's turn for example so I treated it as a sort of Waking the Dragon substitute.
im actually enjoying toons in the event. Got utterly shit on hard by ancient gear but seeing a guy wait 5 seconds then scoop after declaring an attack and my monster not dying is fantastic.
Also stealing their beefy guys with comic hand is amazing.

Ideally you want to stack as many equip spells as you can on Benkei because his effect lets him attack for each equip spell he has on him. Use going second spells like raigeki and lightning storm to clear the path so he can do multiple hits with wild abandon and reduce the enemy's LP to zero. Here's my deck list, you can possibly add some hand traps on top of this to make it easier for you. I experimented with Summon Limit to see if that helps but really, just go second and blow'em up with raigeki

Shit. i was going to post my deck for advice on how to make it but I forgot I scrapped it since I haven't played it in weeks. I seriously don't understand how to use it and it sucks deranking when you're trying to learn. Unfortunately solo mode isn't really a good way to test decks since they're either too gimmicky or so fricking easy you can't tell if your deck is garbage because you're playing against a CPU that bricks for 5 turns in a row.
Would you mind posting a deck? I'll see if I can join a room here in the weekend or something and get some practice in.

Oh yeah and everyone kept saying the ONLY way to play WC was with Grass is Greener, but I didn't want to make 3 UR spells for just witchcrafter. I couldn't think of another deck I have that would benefit from it so I just never crafted it and made a 40 card deck but it barely went anywhere. Plus, to my knowledge, you don't really have an out for when your starter monster gets Called By after they send themselves for cost and try to activate their GY effect. Otherwise they just killed themselves for nothing. God the more I talk about it the more annoyed I get.

Im just an anon passing by, I've played the deck for almost their entire existence it's not hard to understand but very demanding to maintain, this is a 60 card grass version that I think is outdated but gives you an idea of what to look for in a mill build, if you want a cheap 40 card build what this anon is running is close to standard

if you want some pointers >prioritize stablishing verre or haine (depending on your hand and matchup), they are your main interaction >then prioritize dumping bystreet either by tagging into schmietta or discarding it if you opened it >lastly setup aruru by searching her with creation or reviving her if you dumped her >it's imperative you do it in this order if possible >never activate wc spells if you can help it, the advantage is needed to make your plays flexible, holiday in hand is usually the difference between a comeback and a loss >every other card in the deck should be in service to protect your plays or get you into them, if you don't open wc spells to dump you do what you have to, priorize using dead spells, but judgement is important here
Also prepare to brick, its inevitable so psych yourself for it

Links where received as a necessary evil to stop pendulum shenanigans who made all non-pendulum decks non relevant and thus nearly wiped the casual YGO scene. Sure, the matasheep would play regardless but the average player was quitting left right and center thanks to pendulums.
Then Vrain packs came around the image on links became very positive because they were the masters of legacy support.
Outside of Quilforts and Pepes pendulums barely did anything

The synchro event was only awful if you let the opponent start synchrooming, but stuff like Lithosagim and just ash made it bearable, also not everyone could get Baronne turn one. Now had they made it after releasing swordsoul then it would be as awful
Skull Servant Grass is doing alright. Only encountered one Floow player so far, and he got his ass beat. Not enjoying fighting Spiral and Generaider decks though.

I feel bad for making him go through all of my bullshit but at least he won. I noticed something though, I activated Droplet in that last turn and I couldn't use the Robina on my field as material, I thought it was because she can't be sent to the GY but I could send an Eglen from my hand, why was that? If I had sent Robina to negate all of his monsters, I could have survived the duel.
When in your hand the effects don't apply yet because they can be any card, unless specified. There's a difference between "if it leaves the field" and "if it where to go to the GY"
You have 3 Saffira and the handtrap guy so I assume you have 3 of almost all of the Impcantation cards, that's a whole engine that's mostly N/R besides the ritual monsters
i do have them, even royal rare ritual, but i dont think they flow well with saffira's abilities, also wanting to capitalize on loagaeth. but will see how the engine works
If you want to use Saffira's effect more then Drytron is all Light and they have decent Ritual monsters too, more expensive though since Alpha/Quad are SR and Meteonis/the spell are UR. Could just play a lot of Zeta/Gamma/Delta to have targets but wouldn't be as good as playing Impcantations I think.
They can do it but it's not like you can do much once it hits the field unless you're trying to use Very Fun "Dino". It's incredible in the synchro event tho

And with 1 Diagram, you're not reliably drawing Diagram, which means you don't see Lithosagym nearly as often.
U.A running wild for me this event, gone 9-1 so far in platinum with them, I usually choose to go second, feels good to dust the deck off and tune it as I hadn't used it in a couple months.

Burning abyss because juggling resources is fun. Being able to recur the GY at the drop of a hat and search your deck for follow-up every end phase is great. Fiend griefing is based because it lets you disrupt and get started.
Unfortunately you can't build the deck with only 4k gems unless you luck out with a lot of packs having multiple SRs.
You'll also need at least 60 UR dust to craft 2 tour guides because haha wouldn't it be funny if she were a master pack exclusive?

evo pill doesn't go off much but with lost world you can destory the other baby to get pankertops onto the field for a disruption or if you have dinos in grave you can use misc and another dino to make a baby then at the end phase get a search because baby gets destoryed

tyrano infinity is good have in the later turns when you finally have a chance to break their board with uct, just doing it with a misc from graveyard gets you a 4k beater, helps you close games quicker

I'm facing witchcrafters right now and I can't get rid of Haine and Verre
For one you're running way too many kaijus. Even actual Luna Kaiju and Gren Maju decks tend to run 6 (2 Gameciel, Gadarla, and Dogoran), yet you're on 10. Another thing is that you're playing what should be an OTK deck with a bunch of cards that do nothing to help you OTK, such as Evenly Matched, the Brave package, Skill Drain, Called By, and even Ash Blossom. When you're playing a board-breaking deck with cards like Kaijus and Dangers you can forgo weaker hand-traps like Ash, etc. At the end of the day, if you're just going to tribute your opponent's boss monster then you can let them fool around and do their searches that let them bring it out. Maxx C, Dimension Shifter, Nibiru, and Gamma are the only HTs I'd bother using. It's hard to give recommendations on what you should use, though, since you're clearly on a budget and a lot of the relevant cards that you should be using, like Trade-In, a third Bigfoot, Alpha the Master of Beasts, et al. are URs.
I appreciate the advice, and you're right I am on a budget. However you're replying to me 3 or 4 hours later and I already made a Benkei deck out of N and R rarity cards, and I'm halfway through with the event. I do appreciate the advice though and I'll keep it in mind next time I try using kaiju again.

With the initial batch of gems you can either make like 2-3 reasonably priced decks or like half a hero deck.
Your only issue is you're kinda locked out making some specific decks since the packs they're in already passed by and it's too expensive crafting everything from those archetypes rather than just pulling for them.
Worth it to start now or wait for a specific event and pull from there? I know some gatchas are better to start during a specific event.
You can start pretty much any time. You don't really need to reroll if you know what deck you're making.
If you just want to play without thinking much about what deck you need to make you can play in the event right now since they allow you to use pre-built decks.
The event does have a catch where there's no extra deck though so it doesn't represent ladder meta.
Do your dailies and you don't really need to spend any money at all. The events really help with gems and they happen frequently enough.

I have no idea how to activate either of those, I never understood how to pop scythe on the opponent's turn for example so I treated it as a sort of Waking the Dragon substitute.
Both Lancea and Droll are handtraps so you just need to monkey press button prompts whenever you can activate them
im actually enjoying toons in the event. Got utterly shit on hard by ancient gear but seeing a guy wait 5 seconds then scoop after declaring an attack and my monster not dying is fantastic.
Also stealing their beefy guys with comic hand is amazing.

Ideally you want to stack as many equip spells as you can on Benkei because his effect lets him attack for each equip spell he has on him. Use going second spells like raigeki and lightning storm to clear the path so he can do multiple hits with wild abandon and reduce the enemy's LP to zero. Here's my deck list, you can possibly add some hand traps on top of this to make it easier for you. I experimented with Summon Limit to see if that helps but really, just go second and blow'em up with raigeki

Shit. i was going to post my deck for advice on how to make it but I forgot I scrapped it since I haven't played it in weeks. I seriously don't understand how to use it and it sucks deranking when you're trying to learn. Unfortunately solo mode isn't really a good way to test decks since they're either too gimmicky or so fricking easy you can't tell if your deck is garbage because you're playing against a CPU that bricks for 5 turns in a row.

God now I'm remembering why I stopped playing witchcrafters. I'm sure its half my fault for not understanding it but it was a bit of a miserable experience. There's plenty of resources telling people how to build a deck but not how to use it, its such a shame.
Oh yeah and everyone kept saying the ONLY way to play WC was with Grass is Greener, but I didn't want to make 3 UR spells for just witchcrafter. I couldn't think of another deck I have that would benefit from it so I just never crafted it and made a 40 card deck but it barely went anywhere. Plus, to my knowledge, you don't really have an out for when your starter monster gets Called By after they send themselves for cost and try to activate their GY effect. Otherwise they just killed themselves for nothing. God the more I talk about it the more annoyed I get.
Anyway here's my cards. This isn't a deck, this is just the deck builder. Its 2.30am and I have work tomorrow, I'm off to bed. I don't even remember what ED monsters I needed, I just remembered it was a lot and it was expensive so I substituted half of it. Christ I'm just talking myself out of it, I'm just tired.

Im just an anon passing by, I've played the deck for almost their entire existence it's not hard to understand but very demanding to maintain, this is a 60 card grass version that I think is outdated but gives you an idea of what to look for in a mill build, if you want a cheap 40 card build what this anon is running is close to standard
if you want some pointers
>prioritize stablishing verre or haine (depending on your hand and matchup), they are your main interaction
>then prioritize dumping bystreet either by tagging into schmietta or discarding it if you opened it
>lastly setup aruru by searching her with creation or reviving her if you dumped her
>it's imperative you do it in this order if possible
>never activate wc spells if you can help it, the advantage is needed to make your plays flexible, holiday in hand is usually the difference between a comeback and a loss
>every other card in the deck should be in service to protect your plays or get you into them, if you don't open wc spells to dump you do what you have to, priorize using dead spells, but judgement is important here

When in your hand the effects don't apply yet because they can be any card, unless specified. There's a difference between "if it leaves the field" and "if it where to go to the GY"

i do have them, even royal rare ritual, but i dont think they flow well with saffira's abilities, also wanting to capitalize on loagaeth. but will see how the engine works
If you want to use Saffira's effect more then Drytron is all Light and they have decent Ritual monsters too, more expensive though since Alpha/Quad are SR and Meteonis/the spell are UR. Could just play a lot of Zeta/Gamma/Delta to have targets but wouldn't be as good as playing Impcantations I think.

And with 1 Diagram, you're not reliably drawing Diagram, which means you don't see Lithosagym nearly as often.

U.A running wild for me this event, gone 9-1 so far in platinum with them, I usually choose to go second, feels good to dust the deck off and tune it as I hadn't used it in a couple months.
They are a blast to play this event, I'm at 17-2 with them. With perfect ace and spiker on the field they can work as a go first deck too.

How does mekk knight without extra deck look like?
I believe it's control using those continuous spell and traps that negate cards in mekk-knight columns, then using indigo to jump around
I have this idea for a Super Poly - Albaz - Lair of Darkness deck. How viable would that be?

i have some like 220 UR crafting points and some staples, so i think it should suffice.
Burning abyss because juggling resources is fun. Being able to recur the GY at the drop of a hat and search your deck for follow-up every end phase is great. Fiend griefing is based because it lets you disrupt and get started.
Unfortunately you can't build the deck with only 4k gems unless you luck out with a lot of packs having multiple SRs.
You'll also need at least 60 UR dust to craft 2 tour guides because haha wouldn't it be funny if she were a master pack exclusive?
