I've been waiting ages for it to come out to play Tri-Spright. You put it on an endboard with Double Dragon Lords, Spright Elf, I:P, and Red/Carrot. It points to Elf and Red/Carrot, so you can access the negate fairly easily. The only issue is that it's a "When" effect so if your opponent chains anything to Elf's activation it misses timing. The attack drain is nice too since you can prevent, say, Kashtira from threatening your I:P or DDL without necessarily having to go into Avramax. Overall I think vanilla Spright is better and has less use for this card, but Tri-brigade Spright is way more consistent at this point.

Do not buy toons they are terrible. Buy 3 of the blackwings structure deck and play that for the events and ranked while you get more gems. Do not spend anything else until you have at least 10k and make sure it's a strong deck like a new pack release. This game is okay when it comes to f2p and getting gems, but it is not kind to people that use them on garbage.

GX was so bad. Zane was the only one who deserved to win his duels but he got consistently fricked. Yubel hijacked the plot, ruined it completely and somehow got a redemption before Zane got a win against a major character again.

Bit late but I play 2 of Calamity and 1 of Macabe. It's fine to draw Calamity but Macabe doesn't really do anything unless you've already set up your graveyard and realistically if the opponent managed to put your rituals in grave twice the game is probably over anyway and the second revival isn't gonna help. Turn 3 though, the second Calamity can dump N'Tss for White Relic to help finish your opponent off.

No mezuki, gozuki, shiranui solitaire (or any shiranui filler) is going to be quite painful. Balerdroch turbo might be decent enough but it's not going to be easy.
I'm convinced this event is a hidden BUY BLACKWINGS event, because the loaner decks are fricking awful, and the best shot a player without a dedicated dark/light deck is going to have is to buy 3x blackwing structures.
They even hard fricked Labs so you can't use the deck you just bought from the past shilling event.
Looking at the event page it looks like you gain points for whatever side you're playing as when you win. I wonder if the rewards will be tied to how much light or dark points you have meaning you'll eventually have to play both types of decks, or if this is a situation where whichever side gets the most total points from every player at the end of the event gets more rewards at the end, and that is tied to whichever side you have the most points in.

Target with what though, at any rate like the other guy said exosister dies to raigeki, dark hole, evenly matched, droplet, kaiju, and so on.
If you are losing because you went second and had to rely on whatever you summoned that's just how shit is and of course it'll get banished.
There's a massive divide between the peak of the meta and everything below it. Heros are solidly tier 3 or below in my mind and anything different is just tournament match-up happenstance.
Hero going first relies on various floodgates/skill-drain-on-legs/macros-cosmos-on-legs to stop the opponent from cracking the incredibly fragile boards they're limited to but going second they unga bunga with the best of them. Overall you're playing an incredibly flexible deck with an obscene number of tools it can splash in to handle a changing meta but you don't really have negates to protect yourself.
Try watching some of this guys videos for an idea of what Heroes do.

A mix of Pend players huffing they own fart when 90% of Pend decks plany and end in the same generic endboard yet thinking they're hot shit and most Pend decks in general are very boring to play even if you know what you're doing.
Not one single Pend deck has managed to click with me to this day. I tried but I just can’t find myself willingly playing one single pend deck. Maybe if B.E.S of all things get pend support in order to bypass Boss Rush I’ll try it. But as of now? Lol no.
I don't hate Pendulums on principle but so many of their cards exist to shit out a ton of monsters and make a ton of generic omninegates and MAYBE a Time Pendulum Graph+Purple Poison. It doesn't help that for the last 7-8 years or so, there's really only been like one Pendulum deck worth playing and that is Pend Magician. So much Pendulum support is utterly unrestrictive so it all just gravitates towards the archetype that makes the most use out of it. There isn't really "Drytron" or "Dogmatika" or "Vendreads" for Pendulums, outside of rogue strategies like Vaylantz or Nemurelia. And if we're being honest, both of those decks are warping the mechanics so much that it isn't really Pendulum anymore. The mechanic just doesn't have a concrete identity.
And Pend Magician as it is spins it's wheels for 30 minutes to end on a board that would embarrass Adamancipator in a world where block dragon was banned. It's hard not to hate, even if I enjoy the visual design of decks like Qliphort.

Do not buy toons they are terrible. Buy 3 of the blackwings structure deck and play that for the events and ranked while you get more gems. Do not spend anything else until you have at least 10k and make sure it's a strong deck like a new pack release. This game is okay when it comes to f2p and getting gems, but it is not kind to people that use them on garbage.

Bit late but I play 2 of Calamity and 1 of Macabe. It's fine to draw Calamity but Macabe doesn't really do anything unless you've already set up your graveyard and realistically if the opponent managed to put your rituals in grave twice the game is probably over anyway and the second revival isn't gonna help. Turn 3 though, the second Calamity can dump N'Tss for White Relic to help finish your opponent off.

I wonder if the rewards will be tied to how much light or dark points you have meaning you'll eventually have to play both types of decks, or if this is a situation where whichever side gets the most total points from every player at the end of the event gets more rewards at the end, and that is tied to whichever side you have the most points in.
Where can I find about card lore? I know about solo gates but there's a lot of archetypes without one, in youtube you can only find shit about shilled decks like Tears/Branded.

There's a massive divide between the peak of the meta and everything below it. Heros are solidly tier 3 or below in my mind and anything different is just tournament match-up happenstance.
Hero going first relies on various floodgates/skill-drain-on-legs/macros-cosmos-on-legs to stop the opponent from cracking the incredibly fragile boards they're limited to but going second they unga bunga with the best of them. Overall you're playing an incredibly flexible deck with an obscene number of tools it can splash in to handle a changing meta but you don't really have negates to protect yourself.
Try watching some of this guys videos for an idea of what Heroes do.
Hero isn't bad and it will never be bad but I could have built at least 4 decks with the number of gems I pumped into building it.

Frick me, I was actually thinking "what's wrong with that image" until I looked at the release dates...
I don't hate Pendulums on principle but so many of their cards exist to shit out a ton of monsters and make a ton of generic omninegates and MAYBE a Time Pendulum Graph+Purple Poison. It doesn't help that for the last 7-8 years or so, there's really only been like one Pendulum deck worth playing and that is Pend Magician. So much Pendulum support is utterly unrestrictive so it all just gravitates towards the archetype that makes the most use out of it. There isn't really "Drytron" or "Dogmatika" or "Vendreads" for Pendulums, outside of rogue strategies like Vaylantz or Nemurelia. And if we're being honest, both of those decks are warping the mechanics so much that it isn't really Pendulum anymore. The mechanic just doesn't have a concrete identity.
And Pend Magician as it is spins it's wheels for 30 minutes to end on a board that would embarrass Adamancipator in a world where block dragon was banned. It's hard not to hate, even if I enjoy the visual design of decks like Qliphort.
