I quite enjoyed both games but there is no way either of them worthy to be called a masterpiece. You can give them B for effort but the executions were extremely sloppy, it's obvious that the devs also don't think these are their best works.
The only one of these games I played was the original Mafia... but that list says "Mafia Definitive Collection", so technically I haven't played a single one of these games.
But in any case, I 100% say, play the original Mafia. One of the best games ever and it's somewhat a forgotten gem.

I only know Max Payne 3 and DRG from this list. DRG is great (got 300h+) but it sure is a matter of taste. MP3 is okay and not in my top 100 of games I played.
