>stating what the game is is "starting the thread off negative"
Bro look at the title. We get it, you're only used to hate clicks. You don't have to do it here.
Ok, let me take a look here at the title... >mediocre puzzle league game
There's two posts already saying that Challenge was the better game, so it looks like this checks out >turned into promotional material
This is what the game is, promotion for Pokemon. >comes to shitty emulator you pay for
...is coming to the Nintendo Online App /vr/ has pretty consistently had negative discourse around since it was launched.
Are you projecting or something? What's the problem here?
>a game being better makes the other one mediocre
Ahh you suffer from ranking autism where you're only allowed to like the best example of something and everything else sucks.
Puzzle League sucks. It feels off. No surprise, as it had western developers.
Puzzle Challenge is WAY better.
I actually agree on that one. I never knew Puzzle Challenge even existed until about 6 years ago. Got it on the 3DS eShop, and i've played the frick out of it since. It's definitely on par (or maybe even better than) the original Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon.
Puzzle League on the otherhand...mute your TV. I can't remember is there's an option to turn off the voices, I don't think there is
Puzzle League / Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon will always be the shittiest stack 'em up. The series is dead for a reason whilst Puyo is still going strong.
>homie can't even 5 or 6 match
Shuffling your shit together quick while keeping tabs on stuff under or above it for chain potential is pretty much the same, just requires good ol speed puzzling. Magical Drop is way too fast for me regarding chains but PdP works.
ps Taisen Puzzle-dama was here, PdP/Puyo is a loser
>Literally just Konami blatantly stealing Puyo 1:1, not even adding any original ideas, twists or improvements on the gameplay.
the garbage blocks work differently and each character has their own unique garbage pattern. also the character animations in the playfield are top-tier and frequently hilarious
puyo is still better obviously
I think these games are so small they have a hard time finding their niche, or finding mechanics or IP to hang themselves off of. There's just not enough room in the market to support these games, plus puzzle games only seem to show up on phones now really. FWIW, six panel de pon games ain't bad. It's not like they really get old, it is always the same game.
This was a pretty great Wii VC game back in the day since they couldn't port Tetris Attack
I'm a bit fascinated by how many Panel De Pon games arent even allowed to release as Panel De Pon games, or how many times America was denied being able to play one of the games with cute fairies without compromise
There was the DS one but I didn't fricking like it
>starting off a thread this negative
We're not Ganker. You don't have to pretend to hate anything.
That being said GBC version > N64 version
>stating what the game is is "starting the thread off negative"
Jesus dude

Sorry to hear that.
Do you have fun making strawmen all day? Do you get anything out of this?

Lolwut? Chaining in PdP is very easy, probably the easiest system in the genre.

Why didn't 3D puzzle league ever make a return

>paying for roms of 20 year old games
Mega cringe.
b--b-b-but it's Nintendo, they can do no wrong, I'd dying to buy the original SMB rom for the 8th time!
who are you quoting?
every nintendo cultist ever.
sure thing, Ganker kid.
you sure showed me.
>paying for roms
no renting roms
as part of an expansion pack
for paid online
/vr/ hates ppl?
me and my bros loved playing this game, i even went back to play it yesterday and it was a fun ride.
