I've been playing Genshin since day one like a moronic addict and I'd happily swap to something else as soon as someone makes something similar except with:
1. Actual sex appeal and no blatant censorship
2. A fricking editor to prune 90% of the unnecessary text boxes
all we need is "genshin but not a gacha and actually designed for PC controls"
i get mad thinking about genshin because i do like it, but frick there's so much wasted potential.
No gacha is a good thing for sure but if you're predisposed to hating it I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince you otherwise.

true, comboing, running, jumping and swap character are way much faster on keyboard than controller.
they have the money to put effort into actual gameplay features like how they expanded using serenitea pot, card game, and underwater exploration, but their primary focus will always be dishing out new characters and areas to make quick and easy money

yeah playing it and my biggest issue was the actual gameplay felt way dumbed down for phone babbies. imagining what the character movesets could've been if they planned around even just a controller layout and not a tiny phone screen

I will never stop being mad about how Xbox handles Japan. For DECADES, Xbox has been moaning about not being able to reach Japanese consumers. They’ve spent millions of dollars on worthless marketing campaigns trying to get the Japanese to use their products. They’ve commissioned an OS-tan for every version of Windows and even had a failed marketing campaign with their Internet Explorer 11 -tan (who was then sneakily changed to Microsoft Edge -tan when IE fell dead in the water). And now, with Sony having all these recent frickups and shitting all over the very weeb audience that made them big in the first place, Xbox has the once in a lifetime opportunity to swoop in and bring all those disillusioned weebs over to Xbox by bringing over weeb franchises forsaken by Sony as well as starting some of their own. They could make contracts with Hoe-girlve or whatever to have vtubers shill their games, particularly the Halo games and whatever else is on Gamepass.
