My contact told me that now they've decided to postpone the announcement in order to keep the surprise/throw people off track
No confirmed date for certain at this point but "definitely sometime in July"

Yeah I figured it Mario Strikers was this week then Mario Kart wouldn't be announced the same week. I doubt it'll be advertised next week when Xenoblade 3 is coming out either, unless it's a trailer next week and a release the following week. But I think mid-August is most likely at this point.
The next few weeks is probably off the table cause of Xenoblade 3 to be honest. End of August (which is when the anniversary happens) is probably going to be it, though they may announce it in the middle of the month or so.
