It got to a point where more content is 'needed to keep engagement' while there are literally nothing else that can be done without creating entirely new mechanics for units and civs.
I still only play Conquerors civs so that the OST that plays is the best one.

i love aoe2, but i get destroyed so bad when i play multiplayer it kills my enthusiasm
the only people left who play online are too elite
it was so much more fun when I was 9 and playing random maps and the campaign on easy
you need to keep playing until your elo tanks sub 1000. You'll find noobs like yourself. Look up youtuber T90, Low Elo Legends. He casts games like you would play.
Which campaigns/missions are the best if you like turtling up then moving out with an unstoppable army? Basically shit with as few time constraints and as little pressure as possible.
I didn't play a lot of campaigns, but I guess Barbarossa would be good tho not every missions all like that. For sure don't play Cumans and Mongolians campaigns.
Been playing through the campaigns for pic related. Comfy but I feel like unit pathing can be pretty clunky sometimes.

They israeliteed us tender and lovingly with DE while Blizzard gave us an adult bris with a herpes infected mohel with open sores with Warcraft 3
They also didn't take the HD version off steam so you can still play the older one. Every remake/remaster should be like this.
