A sekiro style game with lightsaber combat doing guard damage with health damage being glancing blows from the Saber would be perfect. Full contact with the Saber would be a deathblow, that way you can keep the melee back and forth while still maintaining the whole laser sword power fantasy. Gun enemies would he instagibbed by sabers, just like in the films too.
But since we are talking realism, what about blasters? Since the game doesn't track localized damage, if we assume that any hit from the saber is instadeath, then the same should be assumed for guns, no?
It doesn't bounce off enemies there but it doesn't decapitate them in one hit either unless you're using console commands. Which also trivializes most of the game.
You can hit enemies multiple times with the ligthsaber without killing them, especially end game jedi enemies which can take upwards of 10+ hits from light style. Yeah, there is a console command that trivializes the game if you enable it, but the lightsabers aren't instagib on any intended difficulty.

sadly it's a trash game. you're constantly running around aimlessly. the map is dogshit. the fights are over in moments.
I'm having a harder time playing this game on the hardest difficulty than I did with Sekiro.
The difficulty is fair most of the time, but the arena is kicking my ass.
