RE4 is better than all silent hill games, eat shit koonami cucks.

It's funny that RE4 sold more than the entire SH series combined. Hell, RE2 by itself sold more than the first 4 "good" SH games combined. Seethe all you want, but the series was an expensive commercial flop and that's why Konami outsourced it to cheaper developers and eventually canned it.
SH2 is excellent, but yes SH1 offers more. And yes RE4 is better than every Silent Hill and every Resident Evil for that matter.
I'm sure seeing snow in 3D was pretty exciting during the 90s. I have a feeling it won't have the same impact today.
>Jacob's Ladder ripoff versus BOO! HAUNTED HOUSE!
They're both overrated shit valued too highly by boomers desperate for anything by that point that would validate games as art
SH1 owes more to Phantoms than anything. The whole setting is ripped almost directly from the first half of the movie. SH gays latch onto Jacob's Ladder because it makes them feel more highbrow or whatever than admitting it's mostly copied from a shitty Dean Koontz novel/movie.
Nice try, but a certain group of people Ganker likes to shit on (for some reason) proven that SH1's main plot pulls from many, MANY sources.
>he fell for the "they only like ti cuz it legitimizes games as art" maymay
The "games are art" bollocks didn't take off until years after SH2.
>the puzzles are braindead
someone didnt play on hard
>hard
the only "hard" thing on that mode was drawing a "T" because there was no memo about the order of buttons
It looks like a shit town.
SH3 is also better
SH1 complete "official" soundtrack when? Some excellent Yamaoka tracks were excluded from the 1999 release, like
>meeting Cybil
>Lisa's revelation of what she became
>end game results
There have to be more.
its a shame that the vinyl records didnt include some of the excluded tracks especially November Flight from marias scenario. there is no full track without the in game sound
KONAMI does not know anything about Silent Hill. Yamaoka barely does, and he is not making any decisions anymore.
I guess I will just have to rip my future game disk. By the time I get it I will know how to do that with ease.

Download the ones that say "Silent Hill Complete Soundtrack Ultimate Edition" for the first game and "Silent Hill 2 Complete Soundtrack Ultimate Edition" for the second game, they have also the one from Born from a wish.
that track in particular cannot be separated unfortunately for whatever weird reason they combined all the audio unlike in the main game. so it has maria and earnest speaking over it but thanks for the links tho
frick off newbie
Anon, OP is afraid he won't fit in, so he hides behind the "I hate everything and everything is lame and you all suck" persona.
sh 1 is better tho
It may be. In a perfect world the devs would get another few months to polish the game more. Yes, PS1 was weaker than the upcoming GIANT known as PS2, but with enough time any PS1 could be polished to a high shine.
>SH1 was better
yup.
1 > 2 >/= 4 > > > > > > 3
Sh1 has a deep plot about child abuse though
>muh 2deep4u plot
No one says it's deep, just that it's good. Really good if we consider what passes for story in most games.
it's "2deep" because visuals suffered for it
>have cool nightmare world with unique aesthetic
>replace it with gray/brown fleshy boring thing that apparently represents mc's psyche
good job
FRICK, I just realized. The soundtrack album to SH2 was completed BEFORE the extra content for xBox and PS2 re-releases was done. And KONAMI simply did not want to release a new version of the album with copies of the old one being BRRRRRRR'd just fine at the factory.
>The soundtrack album to SH2 was completed BEFORE the extra content for xBox and PS2 re-releases was done.
what makes you think so?

A week of difference. xBox version came out 2 months later. Team Silent were exceptionally fast with how they put together games, and soundtrack albums usually include the artist re-doing and re-mixing all the music specifically for the soundtrack project. You put the 2 and 2 together.
