Fired up the game yesterday after a bit of a break. Group of miners running back to the pod to finish up an escort mission. It was a tough one and a bit of a cluster but we managed to last and get the stone. Suddenly 3 of us are downed and the 4th is right near the drop pod. He decides to come back and try to revive us instead of just boarding and making sure the mission is actually a success. He dies and I turn the game off. Really sucks because I wanted to play but this was just terrible and kinda turned me back off

I love this game with every fibre of my being. It competes with TF2 for my free time in the evenings. But I wish it had more mission types. Maybe a dedicated 'wave mode' mission type that mixes point extraction with the final part of the escort missions - having to gather items whilst protecting a drill etc. What about different types of salvage mission?

Boltsharks been buffed into a solid state, wave cooker is great with goo and temp shock chain reaction memes, and coil gun at least has mole and hellfire. I can’t say I use coil gun at all anymore but the first two are pretty good imo

I don't know. I guess his powerful secondaries make up for his somewhat weaker primaries, at least compared to the driller and gunner. Like, maybe that's their thinking, design wise.

Just played this with my bros last night. Learning the whole game was fun and all but the funny thing was how they were spending time mining minerals, but I decided to be funny and mine the rocks around the minerals as a Driller, only to learn and teach them that if the minerals no longer have any rock support, the entire structure will fail and the vein auto-mines itself.

I play gunner and driller pretty evenly and scout and engi pretty evenly. Diamond and gold ranks respectively. I just feel so much more impactful playing as driller or gunner that I gravitate to those slots even tough engi and scout are very fun to play

how good is the crossbow for scout? Used it once and damage sucked and I couldn't figure out how the electric special bolts worked
It's good once you figure it out. Triple bolts, bodkin heads. I've heard the electric arc ones are good, but I haven't experimented with them yet. I use triple bolts with pheromones.
they buffed electro bolts a lot, put 2 on the same praetorian and it melts
shoot 2 elctric bolts and there will be a arc between them.
