fan of the first game here, i like 2 but i wish the running speed was about twice as fast as it actually is because it feels like 90% if my playtime was just walking around trying to get places
a thriller horror action game shouldn’t give me flashbacks to fricking pathologic of all things
that said, i fricking love the story and the last 5 or so hours of gameplay are fricking amazing, easily the best end-segment to a game i can remember

I wish Remedy had asked this question to themselves so they would have realized that developing this game for multiple years would only cause financial trouble and for the game to flop.

For people like me who have been with Remedy since the beginning, know the ins and outs of their games and artistic drives and sensibilities, know what post-modern literature is and how they make use of it in video games, as well as how they play with different mediums - like tv, films, music, etc., and utilize them with video games to improve their presentation and to heighten it, and you know what? For a person who has waited for the sequel for years now, was hyped for it since the Control DLC confirmed it, and also played it for the first time last month, I loved it and it was the best sequel I could have gotten for Alan Wake, and that much more. It's a brilliant game you media illiterate dumb dumbs will never get and I don't mind as I do not care, and I also cannot wait for the DLC to arrive and to see how they'll follow up the ending from The Final Draft. The gameplay complaints are also silly, Remedy's direction and detail present in the in-game locations beats your favorite game, and so does their joy and love for the medium.
