      >2D bad!
      >I only watch 3D movies like Shrek because it's for grown-ups, not like those silly 2D disney movies for kids
Unironically go have a nice day right now.

DX's artstyle is pretty good, but I'll never defend that piece of shit game

Frick the new slow ass clunky gameplay
Frick the new casualized dungeons. Purity forest isn't even a pleb filter anymore
And FRICK the removal of friend areas

Why not remake fricking sky instead? I'd be ok with some stupid ass changes to that game as long as they gave me the ability to change leaders mid dungeon just like how you could in rescue team

    Pelipper island remake looks kino

The bottom one could look good too if they reverted to old colors. The soft-brushed blue looks shit.

You picked a terrible game to use as an example. DX looks great. Only issue is that 3d models look stiffer without more animations.

Frick the shitty LE SOUL maymay for a second, and address the real unforgivable crime this game did; removing the walk in friend areas

the remake of final fantasy 4 for DS
    >3D visuals that keep the character designs you see in the menus but have more detail than the actual pixel men of the original. look great instead of just emulator filters like all the 2D remakes this game got
    >made the combat much more in-depth and challenging, full of elements that act as pranks for people used to the very easy original - but doesn't go full bullshit with it by giving you lots of ways to break the system if you're smart
    >story is heavily fleshed out, both with a better translation and more scenes (without it getting overbearing) but a feature where every party member has an internal monologue about every story event you can check just by pulling up the menu to flesh out characters who don't say much in the actual storyline
    >you still lose most party members but you can get their unique abilities as upgrades for the permanent party members
    >excellent remixes of great songs
