As soon as I saw that she had guidance and was the only companion that you could ask for your standing with her I recognized the blatant dev favoritism and left her dead on the beach.
That was me being fairly extensive. I did pretty much everything in chapter 1 and 2. It was only when I got to chapter 3 when I didn't do everything but I did like 70% of the stuff in chapter 3. I was getting bored at that point so just wanted to finish the story. You could probably do it in like 50 hours if you just want main story and the major side quests like companion quests.
I'm at the beginning of act 2 and still feel like I don't understand the gameplay of this game even though I played Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic last year.

Dos2 original release arx is empty, it had good framerate unlike bg3 act 3, and whats there is complete but theres giant empty spots you can imagine encounters to be slotted in. In my opinion yes dos2 on release was a complete game. Nameless isles the 3rd act because dos2 had 4 acts gets roped into this too but nameless isles is just boring but its complete and full of content that isn’t buggy unlike bg3 act 3.
The de edition of dos2 literally slotted in content to arx and now that feels complete too so thats the hope in a year for the bg3 de i guess

That was me being fairly extensive. I did pretty much everything in chapter 1 and 2. It was only when I got to chapter 3 when I didn't do everything but I did like 70% of the stuff in chapter 3. I was getting bored at that point so just wanted to finish the story. You could probably do it in like 50 hours if you just want main story and the major side quests like companion quests.

A third of the game is blatantly unfinished is a flaw regardless how you feel about bg3. I been called a larain shill for years at this point and even I can’t overlook that
Was divinity more complete at launch day?
When people state its a larain classic that the ending is unfinished there only talking about dos2. these fricks never played divine, beyond, dos1, divinty 2, or dragon commander which are all pretty complete games hell beyond divinty the final 2 acts are actually the highlight of the game. The complete inverse.
Dos2 original release arx is empty, it had good framerate unlike bg3 act 3, and whats there is complete but theres giant empty spots you can imagine encounters to be slotted in. In my opinion yes dos2 on release was a complete game. Nameless isles the 3rd act because dos2 had 4 acts gets roped into this too but nameless isles is just boring but its complete and full of content that isn’t buggy unlike bg3 act 3.
The de edition of dos2 literally slotted in content to arx and now that feels complete too so thats the hope in a year for the bg3 de i guess
On top of a third of the game being unfinished the true fricking adventure is not even in the game. Its only an elaborate hook to get the party together. The game ends right when it should be starting.
