What was promised in the initial game that isn't in at this point? They've far surpassed the initial promise by now, and not a single drop of additional monetization.
anon complete online functionalities have been in the game for almost half a decade now
But they're not very vocal in giving information so its understandable that you didnt know
I don't like this guy, doubly so because he's an anglo and all the youtube angloids scrambled to cover his deceitful lying ass, but at least he stands by his game and keeps updating it free of charge, that I can respect.
Is the core of the game still ">mine >sell >fly to new planet" or have they changed this? Because they can keep adding systems for all it matters, but it doesn't change how absolutely mindnumbing and boring this game can get. I just want to go shoot shit and fly around, not run around for precious metals or babysit a settlement.
It's a lifestyle game. You're meant to go to work and make money, then come home and relax with a beer and check out a couple planets before hubby makes dindin.
This game’s cultists will deny it, bt The main gameplay loops is still boring as shit. All the bells and whistles they’ve added have done little to change that.
>The main gameplay loops is still boring as shit. All the bells and whistles they’ve added have done little to change that.
this. the actual core of the game is so simple you can play for hundreds of hours in your head, i played nms for probably 20 hours before i quit and now i can just think about nms and play it whenever i want, just think about the loop and keep looping with slight variations.
Nobody is saying that you disingenuous moron. How do you show remorse and atone for your actions after lying if not by continuing to make good on what you initially said?
Looks cool but I keep feeling it's a drag to work my way up. I'd love to have my own capital ship but my original play through character still has some D tier dinky ship. Feels like a gatcha, there is a uphill slog to grind through but that grind doesn't seem worth it or fun.
If one of these days they fix the planet generation, and a few other basic improvements like auto-piloting from one planet to another, or meaningful economy and rewards, at least flying from planet to planet could be interesting.
The core loop is still too repetitive for the kind of variety the game has to offer.
If the repetitiveness was tied to proper procedural generation that made sense the game would be something else.
As it is now there is fun to have with it but doesn't last very long for most people.
Woohoo another pointless update that only adds more grind and busywork. Wake me up when the game has actual combat against actual enemies that pose an actual threat. When there's npcs that I don't want to kick in the face cause they look like some reddit tier abomination. When making a base on a planet actually serves a purpose and not just purely for shallow farming mechanics. This game could be something, but the devs keep releasing meaningless updates that add nothing but more micromanagment and pointless features. Fix the problems with the core game play loop first, then start adding things.
Pic unrelated but start going to the gym you slobs
Still no true coop. This could have been the only saving grace for the game and they still haven't implemented trading or coop-based progression.
An animal-crossing wannabe game just released on Steam not only has seamless co-op features and progression, but it also has LAN co-op in addition to proper online co-op. What a fricking joke.
why are there so many disconnected sub-systems in this game?
Each update added something new that exists within its own bubble. And why is base building so important in a game where you're constantly zipping from star system to star system hundreds of times? Wouldn't it have been better to make the ship your base instead of building shit on a planet you visited 500 jumps ago?
still waiting for Starfield
no meanwhile your mom be kneeling for my big wiener
Meanwhile your mum will be kneeling for my tiny peenus weenus
This dude has really long forearms and by rolling up the sleeves he just accentuates them even more
would look good on him if he ever lifted more than a sheet of paper
I'm waiting for Daddy Todd's superior game
AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>free updates adding a tenth of what people bought the game for
Awesome! The game is fixed!

Can you do anything you could possibly imagine? Because that is what was promised.
That's the line sony made them spout yeah. But every other specific feature that was promised is in the game at this point.
Factions and world state changing space battles?
I know for a fact factions are in game. World changing, I'm not so sure. I believe fleet battles exist?
I dont believe that world state changing battles were ever actually promised.
They were.
When?
Easy Allies interview.
Factions exist but hardly matter. Space battles happen but they have little to no impact on anything
>muh sony
Hello games is also at fault
>but my heckin youtuber!!!
Kys
Cant even find a planet with a river, let alone what they showed in the reveal trailer
I believe online play isn't, they promised something like on destiny 2 where you are on a planet and you would randomly see people mining and stuff.

There is still no major frigate to frigate combat in which you can participate in

sounds like you want to play anthem
so go shoot shit and fly around? what is stopping you from doing this?
He just wants to parrot everything he sees on v

I like to imagine you're basically the equivalent of the mind blown gif if you do this.
Its the same. All the updates have added neat things on the side like catching animals, cooking, and other things.
Still a boring game. They add a bunch of features and that's great but they're all as shallow as a puddle.
Every update to this game is like polishing a turd. Went from a pure shit game to a mediocre one, congrats I guess.
No, because the game is still shit.
Oh boy! More procedurally generated busy work dressed up as a game!
Nu Male’s Sky
>it's alright to lie if you fix your mistakes afterwards
Nobody is saying that you disingenuous moron. How do you show remorse and atone for your actions after lying if not by continuing to make good on what you initially said?
Refunds, perhaps?
They already did that for anyone who wanted one.
They should have gave mandatory refunds to everyone.
Your parents never fixed their mistake and lie to this day about it.
He's so cute, does he have a girlfriend?
>buy game
>finally playable 6 years later
>uhm are you kneeling yet?
what is with that guys voice
sounds like a forsenTTS
Holy Moley! A No Man's Sky update on my Birthday? Thanks, Sean. Didn't ask for it and I don't play you game, but thanks anyway.
I played it for a few hours and it was an empty, soulless mess. Nothing to fricking do and no incentive to explore
they took a turd and spray painted it gold, the gameplay is still
>zap terrain
>suck up orbs
>repeat
>FREE UPDATE
no such thing, everyone already paid for the work they are still doing.
Still waiting for economy changes and space mining changes.
Still no apology. No sale. No forgiveness.
>/ourguy/ yahtz shat on it again
it's over Sean

Why the announcer sounds like she's reading the script for a tard audience?
October 27th
(You) me when real time planet orbits and rotations from the E3 trailer are added back in
Thats never gonna happen in this game's engine, there's no simulated gravity

Do the station cores have a purpose yet?

What game?
Dinkum.
Bad game that has only gotten progressively worse with each update.

why?
