There was also some weird part with the characters going into a bizarre parallel world that turned all the protags into the child versions of themselves you see in the flashbacks for the whole chapter.

Blades get outlandish designs because they're manifesting outfits from their subconscious. Pyra and Mythra partially look the way they do because they're each half of Pneuma (and so Pneuma's outfit looks a bit like a fusion of Pyra and Mythra's)
By comparison, Morag, Human Nia and Lora are dressed in a fairly practical and appropriate manner for their station and activities.
Even in XB1, Sharla's default outfit is fairly skimpy because she operates primarily outdoors and is a sniper medic.
For Alexandra to show more skin, it should at least make sense in this world where even Blades seem vulnerable to permanent death by weapon and she's an up-front fighter with a large sword. Showing tummy unnecessarily is sexy but looks stupid and fricks up the flow of the design.
If you wanted to add some sex appeal, you can just add that thigh gap to turn the leggings into thigh-highs.
Then, you could peel back some of the layers near her chest on her left and right to show a little more side-tiddy.

Have you been getting your core chips? They’re basically your weapons
yeah i used them, mostly i look at which autoattack is highest
get attack boosting aux cores like affinity attack up or indoor/outdoor attack up and work on the affinity charts of your blades
also, the auto attack stat of a blade affects ALL of their damage so make sure to always have good core chips equipped
forgot to mention this but fusion combos are extremely important and I wish the game stressed how helpful they are more
a simple break x level 1 blade combo will already give you a party wide 50% damage increase for the duration of that break
Use your specials while the enemy is broken/toppled/launched to start a fusion combo which gives you a big burst of damage and an exp boost if the combo kills the enemy.
Overkilling enemies during chain attacks will also give you a good deal of extra exp
So considering the few screenshot leak (journalist fricking up), how do you feel about having to kill Melia and possibly Nia ?

XB2 is a lot jankier in its UI and UX, even compared to OG XB1 on the wii.
But I still think XB2's highs make up for its lows. That's a personal opinion but it's the one I hold

Gameplay is pretty different. It's a lot more fast paced. You get access to 3 different sets of 3 arts (for 9 in total) which recharge based on auto-attacks rather than time.
The main difference is that the importance of individual arts is decreased, but there are 2-3 other systems built on top of arts that deal more damage.
Using and landing Arts will fill up a meter for something called a Blade Special.
Landing a Blade Special will start something known as a Blade Combo.
Completing a full Blade Combo will place an Elemental Orb on the enemy.
Elemental Orbs can be broken during Chain Attacks to increase damage 100s of percent over and over.
The idea is that while the effects of individual arts isn't super important, they're the building block all the other systems are based on

What I want is for Pyra's design to reflect any growth or change in her personality, especially if a significant amount of time has passed since the end of 2. I'd like something sort of like a more casual version of Pneuma's outfit. In the same way that Rex's outfit should have changed over time, I expect Pyra and Mythra's to as well. I could care less about whether they're more concealed as much as I care about whether the outfits match their personal growth
