With everything else literally being wiped out around them? Hell no.
Also, just look at Chernobyl / Pripyat. Less than 40 years later, and the town's crumbling into pieces and being taken over by the nature.
of course not.
but this is likely just Bethesda flexing their engines new photogrammetry gimmick. they just couldn't be bothered to, or were unable to have more than one asset in the world at a time.
the fix would take like 5 minutes tops >tilt it slightly >move half the model undeground
done but them not doing it shows you how little bethesda cares about shit
you could apply those fixes to half the game to make is half decent if you tried but they didnt try, why bother bethesdadrones buy this shit anyway and paid mods will fix it
You show enough so that's recognizable, dummy. Maybe 1/3. Look at the scene in planet of the apes, it needs to be enough that you can scream "YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP!"
>the scene in planet of the apes
Well, the battered top half of the Statue of Liberty has a distinct silhouette that is impossible to mistake for anything else. If it was just the foot and part of her stola with everything else torn off - not so easy anymore. A properly weathered Empire State Building would look like a grey turd.
it's incredible how uninspired and cheap it is. it's like realizing you have a project due in 3 hours so you just slap the most half assed shit together to at least get some credit.
Quite possibly the laziest part of Starfield. If they weren't gonna do Earth justice (and really, how could they) they should've just had some cataclysmic event split it into pieces or something. At least then you'd potentially have some cool spectacle to gaze at and would never be able to visit the remains.
Never relax around them
this is what americans worship
And you worship Muslims

>somewhat damaged empire state building
>entire rest of the city completely turned to dust
Saars...
Don't forget the evenly spaced grid of boulders
why not just make it the top of the tower sticking out of the sand?
this just looks stupid
You expect that kind of forethought from a team of homosexuals Indians and Chinese working on this game?
of course not.

Showing the whole thing makes it instantly recognizable. Would people be able to tell what this is from just the tip?
You're going to that section of earth for a reason. Anyone landing there or anywhere on earth for that matter already knows what they're looking for.
yes, its one of the most recognizable American buildings that wasn't destroyed by planes.

It's just an Easter egg.
What Sony game flopped that we now have anti-Bethesda threads flooding the board again?
