wind was a huge pain in the ass for me before I knew how to deal with it, I bet that's a big reason why people struggled with the tengu in the first game
I was mad when I started up Nioh 2 because of this but now that I think about it I don't even remember what they did so it must not have been that big a deal.
earth is almost exactly the same ki effect as purity so it was good
wind halves (?) damage output which made it good for defensive usage, and would neuter you if you got afflicted by it

I've seen people using it to great effect but most of its kit bothers me in small or big ways
My favorite. Does very good ki damage and physical damage. Get the extra hits mystic art. Has very good range too. Definitely recommend.
IDK guys I tried to play Nioh but this game was so shit I quit after like 10 hours. Should I try and finish it? My main problems were the awful inventory-cluttering worthless loot you get, the fact that there are like 30 consumable items which I'd have to individually try out and the fact that the second boss (the vampire b***h) one-shots you with like half of her moveset.
Honestly the only part I liked about Nioh was when the jap guy told what time it is by looking at the cat.
You don't need to worry about the loot. Just get whichever weapon has the highest attack rating. If you find a weapon with an element infused, it's recommended to use it until it becomes underlevel. The consumables are kinda whatever. You can ignore most of them too. One thing I recommend is magic. There's some really good magic that can make your game very easy. For the vampire b***h, just backsep her combos, keep good spacing, then punish. When she goes in the air, start running. I'm pretty sure you can avoid her paralysis projectiles if you run around. I haven't played Nioh 1 in a long time.
Complaining about loot is always ridiculous. You just filter the menu to sort highest level items at the top and then get rid of anything you're not using. Don't be a hoarder and it will never bother you.
