That's pretty substantial for soulsborne game standards. Most of them you can complete in about 8/10 hours at a leisurely pace.

You get the best weapon in the game which is always available from the start and then shitstomp everything effortlessly in a couple hours because these games are always too easy.

not even a 6th, because apart from the Legacy dungeons and their surroundings there's the huge field in between and the underground Legacies plus little dungeons. So it's more like a 12th?

I certainly don't want them to spoil too much and I'm not for the daily news updates approach either but it releases in January and I'm surprised they didn't show us that closed gameplay showing back at Gamescom.

Not worried about the quality of the game in the slightest and I guarantee you its not getting delayed. If anything I bet you this is Bamco at work here. Sekiro was shown at both Gamescom and TGS but that was Activision handling the publishing. Bamco, not From, is in charge of the marketing and for whatever reason they're choosing to do it this way. Honestly thats fine but they should at least let us know when they'll show it.

I couldn't disagree more and I'm not sure if you really liked their games to begin with. I've greatly enjoyed all the games they've made since DeS and everything I've seen of ER looks great.
