you have to specifically enable level scaling in the options for it to even happen, moron. it wasn't in the vanilla game and was added as an option because people wanted it.

if you compare first game combat, it is a good improvement, but is still lacking

Soon doesn't exist in CDPR's vocabulary. They might release a project the next week or they might announce a 6 month delay. They literally can't release ANYTHING on a timely manner.
That wouldn't be a negative but rather a thing to praise if with delays came quality but in all aspects other than presentation, each Witcher game was worse than the previous one and then there was CP2077.

The wild hunt was built up nicely and subtly in the first two games. Too bad the polacks lost their touch by 3 and just wanted to make an open world

In 2 you could get around their shitty hack and slash system with mage build. Magic in 3 was utterly worthless
Yeah but I'm more of a swordplay guy and random animations that would push you right into enemy attack were abysmal.
I plan on going full magic on my evil playthrough though. The problem is I like the idea of potion playthrough and with how the upgrade system is built you have to commit your playthrough to a single build to be effective so it's either potions or magick and I fear potions build might be too weak and unfun
