If you don't play the game, you shouldn't post about it, that, or you literally never caught a Daedream so you don't know its gimmick.
Also it feels good to have your pal avoid danger before a big blast lands on them, kinda like...Digimon
What the frick are you morons going on about. It takes half a second to send your pal back to their sphere ball, you can make them avoid big attacks that way. And summon them in another split second.
Why are you even arguing, opening a menu wheel and telling them to stop fighting is a shittier method.

Ok, I'll be blunt, because apparently you are a dense motherfricker.
Daedream's special skill is that it can be outside it's sphere at all times and keep attacking as long as you keep it in your team, you can't actually send it back to its sphere anymore, the one and only way to stop Daedream from killing shit is to tell the little shit top stop attacking with the menu.

Catching already gives you dropped loot, so capturing + slaughtering has more gains than just killing alone.

Don't you also gain more XP for catching than you do killing? Seems catch and butcher is the way to go if you wanna minmax XP and items.

only for the first 10 times for each type of pal. after that it's the same amount of exp as killing.

seems kinda inefficient still
you have to account for pokeballs, trying not to kill, having party slot, and just for an extra drop?
even if you use it to cull excess pals from breeding
cakes take so long to cook
i think its just better to condense or sell off excess pals than to put time butchering them
5 months ago
Anonymous
Depends on what you're trying to farm. If it's something like pal fluids which are only available on water pals, you're better off catching a bunch of shitter lvl 5 water guys and killing them at home.
Culling from breeding is a given but also random so it doesn't always give the yield you want. There are things I'm not sure you can have Pals graze for other than fire organs and food.

the only case for it is High Quality Pal Oil. it's dropped from a few monster like Mammoth or Relaxsourus which is not abundance. but even so the oil and Polymer is not used all that much in anything.
Some of the designs in this game absolutely transcend anything TPC has attempted since Gen 2. For reference, ask yourself, is these pals were added in the next pokemon gen people would be calling it a return to form and the best looking gen yet.
No, it's not just the designs, the unique animations for each Pal is what really gets to me. Both Daedream and Flopie

It's not just the animations, it is everything. I was wandering around looking for shit north of the Alpha Anubis spawn point tonight and I came across a male and female Mammorest walking as a pair. Another male Mammorest approached and the male from the couple stepped forward. The two males circled each other stamping their feet before they both charged and ended up fighting to the death.
This kind of shit is all over the game. When I thought of what a pokemon game could be for all these years this is it.

People rip on Palworld because it uses a frickload of store assets while forgetting that it also has really, REALLY good fricking Pal designs and soulful animations given that it was made on a fricking shoestring budget by people who had almost zero fricking idea what they were doing. I don't give a frick if 75% of the designs are fakemon-tier, the game itself is more functional and entertaining than anything Gamefreak has put out in nearly two decades and it did it on its own merits rather than just rehashing the pokemon formula.

Always has been. Nearly every vidya from the mid-90s on has made use of stock assets. Those autists that talk about making their game entirely from scratch are deranged maniacs with no concept of efficiency, who will in all likelihood never actually release a game.
Anonymous
Yes.
The alternative to stock assets is large supplies of extra assets that exist between game developments, but these require years of making shit to repurpose.
Fromsoft does it this way, anything they make gets reused at some point later, and they ate all of the money Sony threw at Bloodborne and turned it into "cut content" that they just reused for DS3 and Elden Ring.
If you don't have years of assets built up, you use stock, unless you're a visionary genius who doesn't need to do things the right way to make a mediocre AAA shitheap.

Not a high priority issue but they can't tell me they don't have the money for it now just to make the world look a bit more cohesive. Ironically enough I would say the pals that are blatantly based on Pokemon are some of the worst designs in the game. The best ones are ones that don't have any parallels from Pokemon.
If they actually got sued by Nintendo and were forced to remove pals that were too similar to existing Pokemon, I think the game would be just fine because they clearly know how to design good original stuff.

For the most part I don't mind the obvious ones, the only one a really dislike is Lovander.

Reminds me of Sylvanas in HOTS who would unenthusiastically golf clap during the victory screen.
I made a macro for my controller with steam input to make it a single press that takes 0.2 seconds. However, it is still not enough since there is a good chance she is already charging up an attack and won't cancel it. You can always just throw a pal sphere and use the capture attempt delay to get some extra time.
they really need to make a melee weapon that doesn't drop a pal below 1 hp so that when you get a higher level you can actually go back to catch the lower level pals without having to just resort to punching.
It's dogshit for the intended purpose anyway. Random chance for the electric stun btw. The fricking spear you get at level 13 is better. Hope you like it because you won't get anything better until 34
game was pretty fun but the level 30-40+ grind is starting to wear down on me, crafting ammo and higher level spheres is so fricking tedious, is there anything to alleviate the grind?
you can increase resource harvesting in world settings
debating a new run just to see how faster it is to get a setup going
grinding resources adds nothing to the game but padded time
if there’s a crafting speed modifier that shits going up too
for ore:
find a spot that has a lot of ore spawns, set up a base there, fill it with pals who have mining lv. 2+ and transport (i use tombats), one pal who drops food while at a ranch so they dont starve, set up a chest in the middle somewhere. they will mine the ore and carry it to the chest while you're doing other shit or afking
multiple stories are horrible for the tard AI they have, one invasion made my entire base catch fire which was a blessing in disguise cause I rebuilt it in a flat place and everything runs much smoother, although there's still the occasional moronation where one pal or another just turns their brain off for whatever reason
>make base on an entirely flat surface >fast travel in >one pal is stuck on top of a logging site tree, one is stuck on the incubation chamber and one spawned outside the base and the blue line that stops base pals from crossing is two-way for some reason so they're stuck too >sigh and respawn them at the pc >they all immediately run to the feedbox
I find having no chest or any structures near the logging site is the best possible way. Also my bigger log cutting pals do a bit better than the grass chipmunks with that.
Real hell is the fricks in the breeding ranch just randomly leaving it, idling, then being unable to link back to it. Getting stuck is an easy fix but the cakes and breeding timers are so slow that wasting them is a kick in the teeth. I've spent 10 hours breeding Galeclaws and I've gotten exactly 7 eggs to show for it.
Breeding, outside of very specific combos, has nothing to do with the "Parents".
Shit's weird, each parent has a "Breeding Number"
You add both then divide by 2, the new breeding number is the pal that comes out
is there some kind of strat to do it consistently though? like say i get a boss low enough to try and catch, if i keep my pal out to distract it, its going to die real quick. but then if im solo its just gonna charge me

The better and more consistent status bonus is to point blank pals with an electric attack while mounted.
I just go around with a Rayhound and point blank pals with shock blast or whatever and I always get a near 100% chance.
They get stun lock for three seconds and it’s like a 50% boost compared to the 10% on a back shot.
I thought "finally a good melee weapon" but it deals less damage than the fricking meat cleaver.
What's everyone been putting their level-ups into? Most of mine has gone in to carry weight so far, a few into work rate, a couple into HP, and 1 into stamina. I'm not sure how the damage calculations work, but the attack and defense increments seem really small.
yeah i think its worth just flying around getting as many as you can, cuz its pretty easy to miss most of them, especially if you travel on the ground a lot
I feel your pain
feels like everything I catch has the worst possible traits. the strongest pal I have is still a random direhowl I caught at the beginning of the game with musclehead (+30% attack), plus I can ride him and he's fast as shit
yeah the only good traits ive gotten a fair few of are work slaves
Nah, there's a scaling that subtracts from the capture power the higher the level. By Level 50, the first two tiers of Pal Spheres are always repelled. Higher tiers do have worth

Stamina is the best. Attack is good mid late game. Health is kind of useless on hard mode because everything one shots anyway. There are some amulets in the end game that reduce damage so then it becomes useful though. Crafting and weight is useless
>put one in a capture chamber before relocating >he was erased
frick but thank you, that's actually hilarious and useful. Glad the devs confirmed they're actually expanding on human capturing rather than patching it out when they said it wasn't intended.
You need to upgrade your flying mount pals with the crusher, that will make them go faster, but getting a good trait for movement speed on it is probably quicker overall. Increasing your stamina also effects the mount's. Also Nitewing is shit, I would ditch one for a Vanwyrm the moment you're able.
Highly recommend Helzephyr. can be found in Gobfin swamp at night. It's medium size, fast as frick and add extra dark attack to your weapon when mounted. Also a worker with pure transportation lvl3, he do nothing else but cleanning your base. it's mad efficient
no
they always prioritize the feed box until it's full
the way I've gotten around this is to fill up all its slots besides the one I'm putting actual food in with cotton candy, which never expires
So is there any point in every making any kind of food than the regular berries? I just carry a huge stack of berries in my food slot and one berry farm is enough to sustain a whole base of pals.
the eating animation is per unit of food, so if they're eating a bunch of small shitty food instead of the big good food they have to spend more time eating
when you're using pals that eat a lot all that time really starts to add up
the eating animation is per unit of food, so if they're eating a bunch of small shitty food instead of the big good food they have to spend more time eating

Why the frick do catch rates fricking fall off so damn hard past level 30?
Every 10 levels tends to call for a stronger ball type. 1-10 is blue, 11-20 is green, 20-30 is yellow, 31-40 is red, and 41+ is purple. Also HP below 50 (not %, but 50 value) matters by huge amounts, but without the stun baton good luck lowing it without killing at lv30+.
Why wont my pals enter my house to help me craft?
I also put a pal bed near my own but thet still dont get in even with door open. What am i doing wrong?
Doors and walls confuse them. Until they fix the pathing, you're just going to have to accept that everything except your bed has to be out in an open and flat area.
>catch a Nitewing 8 levels above me at the very start of the game >spend the next 20 minutes watching it divebomb pals so fast I can't track their flying body with my camera
Maybe this game isn't so bad
at 700+ crafting I still craft faster then even handiwork lv3 pals can on their own, and they only assist by taking 2-3 seconds off of most timers at best. I'd say craft speed > Weight > HP because having an extra 500 HP buffer can go far to keep you from being OHKO'ed at times, but if you're getting hit you're either not abusing your rides hard enough or you ended up vs a horde of foes and even with best armor and shield a ton of low levels spamming air cannon at you can and will kill you. Otherwise weight matters a ton, but kingpalca's can assist by giving you an extra 100 per, but -nothing- but charms and food buffs can improve craft speed, and even then only by %'s. Your pals will never be able to excell you, but they'll work while you're off doing other things. Also I feel like it improves gathering speed as well, but that might just be me at times with the right gathering pal and not noticing then it kicking in.
Dang, feels like I fricked up by sleeping on work speed. I went to 250 stamina. To be fair, using my grappling hook to gain speed then zooming around the map on my killamari for two minutes is super fricking fun, but maybe that's my cope
>stand back slaves, let ME craft!
Actually fricking deranged, yeah you might craft slightly faster but you can get as many pals as you want to craft while you actually go and play the fricking game.
The best stats are Stam, HP, and like 4-5 levels of weight.
gee anons, I sure hope you're not wasting your time breeding, at least for combat pals, when you haven't caught Jetragon and thus don't even have access to this passive yet
>want to start upgrading pals with souls and the blender >immediately hesitate because what if I get a Pal with better passives? Maybe I should grind the perfect Pal >neither upgrade nor grind
This always fricking happens in every game. How easy is it to grind a good passive set through breeding? Should I just bite the bullet, or will it take too long?
you can refund your upgrades when a pal becomes useless and blender isn't a big upgrade so it doesn't really matter. just push with pals you like then eventually swap them out when they're not useful anymore
What's the easiest to farm food that actually fills a lot of hunger? I need to feed my mining base efficiently. I'd like to have the food source full auto in that base with minimal pals interfering, but if it's something I need to cook I'd be fine with schlepping some stacks over every now and then.
The berries continue to work for me (I'm level 20), I leave a couple of pals with irrigation (the pirate penguin and some monkey for example) and they plant and they end up accumulating food quickly with the berry fields, now I'm with the wheat and having bread and with a pal cow (I don't remember the name).
I just started playing yesterday. It's pretty insane to me that even with the bugs that the skeleton this game has is so solid. Is there a Giovanni for the Team Rocket poachers?
I really wanna see how mounts with legend, runner, nimble, and swift w/ 4* condenses compare speed wise. Should be 1.75 speed. My swift elkdeer is noticably faster on its own. I'm curious if the condense actually does anything for mount skills speedwise. I might just load up cheat engine on a test save and see for myself. Breeding is lame, and they really need to add passive skill cookies or some decently balanced mechanic to manually alter skills.
Also they really should have written motivational leader's description in a way that's not moronic. You'd think it buffs speed from reading the description, because it says it buffs speed.
I cant use flying pal on my base without them getting stuck everywhere
what are some good hauler pauls?
there are so many shit laying on the ground everywhere from wood stone ore coal foods
When I first walked into one of those damn things, I just finished killing Grintale. Battered and bruised, I made sure to not aggro him. Unfortunately, I was too late, as he became instantly aggro and proceeded to beat the shit out of me, outrunning me and driving me back into the dust from which I came.
Bros should I downgrade my Mammorest from the Boss version to the regular one? I'm pretty sure his xbox hueg size is hindering more than it's helping in fights. His AI just stands around staring into the distance while right next to the enemy sometimes, and his base defense capabilities are pretty inconsistent as well.
They usually have unique attacks, and sometimes better stat if there is a guaranteed trait.
The real meta is breeding the traits down to a regular-size though
Can you still catch the tower bosses or did the patch "fix" that?
Also. If I defeat a boss normally. Do they ever respawn? Or do I need to catch them before beating them normally?
>they have waaay too much health
I actually wish the caught versions had normal health. Because otherwise their stats and moves match the regular pals. Only that these are cooler.
If not for the HP thing I would totally be using them. But with the HP thing I might as well memory edit the game to enable godmode because it's practically cheating.
>Run backwards >Make my base at what I think will br the tutorial base (Cutscene starts there but you are placed by first statue) >Try to make a dock, no luck. Make a nice beachfront resort to test building mechanics to try and make two buildings connected by wood and 2 stories >Have fun and get my first raid >They ate stuck on top of the ruins >3rd raid spawn so many dudes pushing one level 20 guy is shoved off due to too many dudes running into each other and falls 200 feet into my base and takes fall damage >My base is literally raid proof
I'm a bit sad, but I am gonna figure out what each goal of my 2 bases will focus on and practicing my base buildijg before playing multiplayer with people
The most common 2nd base is one set up next to several Ore mining points
Just enough dudes to make food to feed everyone, then nothing but haulers and miners and a fox setting fire to shit
I'll get on that after I pack up the second base. I used it while exploring Marsh Island and I unlocked fort walls and I made a massive circular fort that I was gonna turn into a farming area to gather at ranches and stuff.
The trick is to just catch 10 of each mon that's lvl 10 or less because they're ez and it keeps scaling the bonus. If you've exhausted the weak pals in your usual biome you just need to explore new places. Head out at night or check out caves if you haven't yet.
I literally cant wait until Nintendo sues Palworld for everything you guys just paid them.
then it gets banned off Gaming platforms and the only way that you can play it, is by pirating it.
beacuse it was always low tier illegal garbage that you morons fell for.
if i had to summerize this, its the Morbius of gaming.
About to play this, can someone tell me how scaling works? Like if I wanted to focus on a particular pal and take him all the way to endgame with me could I make him really strong even if he was like a shitty starter when we met?
I think it would be fun to see Depresso's tired face while he mops the floor with a lvl 80 boss or whatever
> Like if I wanted to focus on a particular pal and take him all the way to endgame with me could I?
Absolutely.
Some of them are even suited for it.
Now, some issues of optimization might arise way down the line, if you don't want to do the breeding. But even so, something like the flamethrower fox is pretty solid for a long while.
You can upgrade their stats with pal souls you get by killing wild pals and you can also use duplicates to upgrade them even further. There's also a bunch of fruits that you can give to your Pal to teach them any skill you want.
The catch-up XP is pretty insane too, so there's no problem with using a level 1 pal that caught your eye during late-game.
Very neato. Thanks
I'm the type to obsessively pick and choose who I want in games like this. I never filled out my pokedex in any pokemon game even though I would play them so much

The turtles are actually ass for mining base pals.
Something fricks up about the way they collect ore when not being directly commanded out of the party. Basically anything else is better.
My permanent base is on the beach near the Penking boss. It’s a massive open area so there’s minimal risk of pathfinding issues, and there’s no ore/trees to distract pals that should be doing more important jobs.
It’s also got some choke points for raiders you can wall off
I was really excited to craft Chillet's saddle. but riding Chillet kind of sucks.
It's not any faster than my regular running and I can't roll when on it so it's kind of terrible to ride it in battle.
And outside of battle I can't climb or glide with it. So I really have no idea why I should ride it ever. I am disappointed.
controlling the skill usage as well as its exact positioning and angle its huge and a worthwhile tradeoff.
carefully placed icicle cutters while riding him was my go-to raid deleter until I made a mossanda saddle.
I went into the game trying not to hype myself up for flying because I knew it would be jank and shit. I really really hope they work on that with better physics now that they have infinite money to devote to this game. Flying a mount in Ark is extremely fricking fun with some of them that can dive and especially that gliding drake. They need to copy that
I don't mind it attacking, no different from any other pal, but I do mind them standing in front of the camera and standing where I'm trying to build something with no easy way to withdraw them
How viable is just stuffing a shitmon with non-detrimental traits full of souls and essence?

is there a way to toggle Off the harness upgrade? I thought he would just be near you without attacking others, sorta like Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow. Would be cool if you could pick what he would do once the harness was crafted without having to command him to stop attacking, like set it up so he only attacks when told to, or have him only pick up stuff, or attack once X% of health has dropped from the player, like the gambit system from FF12.
>Build a huge shack in a new location to move all my stuff to >Build with Wood >Just finish up moving everything over >Raided by wild pals >They're fire based pals >Virtually destroys EVERYTHING except the sleeping shack with the main loot chests >Huge production shack is burned down >Small Main platform for the Pal Box burns >Lose over 1000 cooked berries >Now need to rebuild everything
Frick.
At least I had time to rebuild with Stone.
i genuinely don't know how this can happen unless you afk'd the whole time
my experience with raids is that if I run up and have my pal use an aoe move they all die, or I can just do nothing and my pals working will kill them anyway
frankly they're disappointingly easy, I've felt no real need to build defenses or turrets
What do you mean, "Too bad?" Literally all I have to do is keep hurling my balls at her until she submits and becomes mine. Rules of nature, motherfricker.
>playing on friends servers a world away on top of my already shit ping so I have to learn to start thinking half a second ahead to avoid killing pals
we moved to a new server that was slightly better for me though
That's why I can't stand people who reply with a separate post to every individual post they find interesting. Just reply to them all in one post. Do you think we can't tell it's all you?
i butchered this thing minutes after crafting its harness
I just put mine away.
on default keybinds, press 4 and command your pals to stop attacking once your enemy is low so you can spam balls.
>command your pals to stop attacking once your enemy is low so you can spam balls.
bitchmade pussy detected
Just range yourself and its fine
Anon, typing this doesn't make you less of a Black person homosexual
It's faster to just press E and return them to their ball.
I do this so they avoid attacks.
moron
No I think you're the moron for fiddling with a menu when a single command solves all your problems.
Idiot moron
What the frick are you morons going on about. It takes half a second to send your pal back to their sphere ball, you can make them avoid big attacks that way. And summon them in another split second.
Why are you even arguing, opening a menu wheel and telling them to stop fighting is a shittier method.
>>Also it feels good to have your pal avoid danger before a big blast lands on them
homosexual, why include me when I was agreeing with you?
What's Daedream's ability, anon?
He hasn't gotten that far.
>It takes half a second to send your pal back to their sphere ball, you can make them avoid big attacks that way
feels cheesy though
It's the closest thing the game has to indepth combat mechanics.
I can't wait to see it abused in high end PvP and knowing what moronic name they come up for it.
I wasn't responding to the daedream ability, I was responding to the guy who said that making your pal go passive with the menu wheel is a waste of time.
And the person you first replied to was talking about how to deal with the ability.
>I wasn't responding to the daedream ability
>if I ignore the entire point of the conversation and the reason everyone is calling me a moron, I'm not a moron!
Don't worry anon you are very clearly correct.
Also it feels good to have your pal avoid danger before a big blast lands on them, kinda like...Digimon
If you don't play the game, you shouldn't post about it, that, or you literally never caught a Daedream so you don't know its gimmick.
You didn't have to craft that collar. You done did it to yourself
Jokes on you, I don't use Daedream.
If you craft their harness you can't make them stay in the ball
what a brat. I love her bros.
Need correction
>Hi anon! I have a present for you because I love you!

Can she actually do that?
I don't want a ore mine base
Where can i capture her?
Nice
>literal daughter wife
What egg hatched her? I haven't found her out in the wild and I don't even know what type she is.
Electric.
Damn TDM brats!
Labor correction is needed...
Rape an imprint of your wiener into their featureless crotches, it's the only cure
Keep seeing TDM and NN around.
What the frick do these mean?
TDM is mascot characters with big heads and small bodies
so just chibi? or is there some other distinction
TDM = Team Deathmatch
NN = No Nut
I just caught a flopsie so I've been using this combo. Adding Dazzi as soon as I get the collar.
>find dazzi in a cage at level 15
>you can't unlock the collar before level 22
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
just use your hands for now
heh
I feel stupid for not noticing these were the same thing just day night like depresso and cattya.
Put 30 hours into palworld
I've seen the left one be eaten by 3 Direhowls twice.
>you wanted to build there? too bad!
Why did he do it?
THIS fricks me off
Why have BLUEPRINTS be affected by pals walking around, it's a nuisance
Pals look too frickable
Why are people complaining about this? just send her back to your pal sphere when they're at low health.
You clearly haven't crafted the item for it if you don't understand.
yeah because I got Dazzi first and crafted hers instead, my bad. You're right, I forgot Daedream has a necklace too.
carry on lads.
I did both, because I didn't learn my lesson the first time. They really need a quick way to disable their attacks while at your shoulder.
>butcher some captured poacher
>get ammo
what did they mean by this
It was an american, we are made of guns and ammo
Is there anything you can get from butchering that you don't for just killing them in the wild?
Catching already gives you dropped loot, so capturing + slaughtering has more gains than just killing alone.
Don't you also gain more XP for catching than you do killing? Seems catch and butcher is the way to go if you wanna minmax XP and items.
only for the first 10 times for each type of pal. after that it's the same amount of exp as killing.
seems kinda inefficient still
you have to account for pokeballs, trying not to kill, having party slot, and just for an extra drop?
even if you use it to cull excess pals from breeding
cakes take so long to cook
i think its just better to condense or sell off excess pals than to put time butchering them
Depends on what you're trying to farm.
There's an area with assloads of gobfins. When you're strong enough you'll easily wreck their shit
I just finished the game and can confirm butchering is not efficient.
the only case for it is High Quality Pal Oil. it's dropped from a few monster like Mammoth or Relaxsourus which is not abundance. but even so the oil and Polymer is not used all that much in anything.
Retribution. Satisfaction.
You can, on PC it's hold 4 and set your Pals to passive
You know that you can tell them not to attack, right?
Exactly, works on my machine. Kindly tell her to stop being so jealous and she won't attack anymore.
Both Daedream and Flopie
float and have similar builds, but their working animations are different. If this were gamefreak you know they'd take the lazy way out and copy/paste shit, I was really surprised by Palworld.
Largest media franchise in the world, embarrassing.
Well coordinated and heavily practiced Pokemon Company beaten by a ragtag group of 7/11 working amateurs run by a profit focused young jap CEO and a Dazzi with 140 ping
owari da..
Its a direct rip of Ark, just significantly more casual.
yep there is some kind of attention to detail that somewhat charming for a supposed slop shovelware
>Uses store assets for the shit no one gives a flying half-dick about.
>Spend more time on everything people want.
>???
>PROFIT
Was it really that fricking easy?
Yes.
Yes it actually was.
Customers tell you what they want, you focus on that. Occasionally customers don't know what they want, but they're usually at least in the balkpark.
Customers have been screaming long, detailed lists of what they want at Gamefreak for so long that someone else answered.
Always has been. Nearly every vidya from the mid-90s on has made use of stock assets. Those autists that talk about making their game entirely from scratch are deranged maniacs with no concept of efficiency, who will in all likelihood never actually release a game.
NTA but I would like to see some texture updates by release regardless. Not a high priority issue but they can't tell me they don't have the money for it now just to make the world look a bit more cohesive. And really it's just the trees and some foliage I have issue with, especially the trees, although the guns getting touched up would also be nice.
>rather than just rehashing the pokemon formula.
True it didn't just rehash the pokemon formula. It rehashed the Ark formula and fortnite formula too
>and fortnite formula too
what exactly did it rip off from fortnite? The glider?
The building is admittedly very Fortnite. In its defense, it's also clearly temporary, in comparison to the original trailer's building style.
huh? how is it like fortnite? Do you think Valheim also ripped of fortnite too? Cause the building is that is more similar to fortnite than palworlds is
homie the fakemons shit on the real ones like nobody’s business
Ironically enough I would say the pals that are blatantly based on Pokemon are some of the worst designs in the game. The best ones are ones that don't have any parallels from Pokemon.
If they actually got sued by Nintendo and were forced to remove pals that were too similar to existing Pokemon, I think the game would be just fine because they clearly know how to design good original stuff.
For the most part I don't mind the obvious ones, the only one a really dislike is Lovander.
The majority of them are better than the original versions though. Shit fakemons in general are superior because they look more like Pokemon than the current examples
yeah too bad about those store assets though. its like having an art museum set in a literal garbage dump
Yeah that's the good shit and I need more of it
Like if they just spent all their time and money adding more unique animations and interactions between Pals in the wild, that would be money and time well spent.
It's funny when stray attacks like these hit other pals and causes even more chaos.
I saw a mammoth fight.
A Depresso walked up, looked at it, then sprinted in between them and immediately got flattened.
I know it was a coincidence, but still.

It took Gamefreak to release the second dlc for S/V to update/fix animations.
I'm surprised so few people even care to point out that every pal has a unique animation for every action be it battle, work, sleep, petting or any kind of other activity they are capable of. It's like nobody even fricking cares to pay attention besides a few fricking autists on Ganker.
It's honestly great. I love how much personality they put into some of these.
Depresso is helping. I promise!
Reminds me of Sylvanas in HOTS who would unenthusiastically golf clap during the victory screen.
I use a controller, it takes a split second longer than keyboard but enough time for Daedream to murder the Pal.
Skill issue.
I made a macro for my controller with steam input to make it a single press that takes 0.2 seconds. However, it is still not enough since there is a good chance she is already charging up an attack and won't cancel it. You can always just throw a pal sphere and use the capture attempt delay to get some extra time.
Or I could just not use the little shit, there's so many other pals to use.
I mean it's a handy ability that gives it some pretty unparalleled early utility and power.
>also blocks build placement
what were the devs thinking
>mossanda actually hovers when you jump and LARPs as a helicopter
why its called palworld if its just an archipelago?
*Archipaligo

>>>/vp>
That shit is annoying. Also its annoying getting a pal to 1hp without losing a ton of armor durability.
>oh you wanted to build something? too bad!
FTFY
they really need to make a melee weapon that doesn't drop a pal below 1 hp so that when you get a higher level you can actually go back to catch the lower level pals without having to just resort to punching.
I mean you don't even need to hurt them, just throw the ball.
They did. It's in the game.
I just run them over with my fricking deer.
bro your mining pick
anon...
im kind of butthurt that I crafted this and it deals a tiny amount of damage. I thought it was the next step in melee weapons
There's a literal sword but it's way into the late game
It's dogshit for the intended purpose anyway. Random chance for the electric stun btw. The fricking spear you get at level 13 is better. Hope you like it because you won't get anything better until 34
the queen bee can drop her spear too
Is it just a reskin of the spear? I might go grab it if it better than the refined metal spear
it's better than the regular metal spear I had but yours probably already outclasses it
Beeguardes ahouls give you atk boost if you use this.
best part is that it's free to repair
That seems like a bug to me.
you talking shit about Elizabee's indomitable spirit?
CARLOS
Press 4 choose don't attack.
It's not that hard.
Them getting in the way of building is the real fricking annoying problem.
game was pretty fun but the level 30-40+ grind is starting to wear down on me, crafting ammo and higher level spheres is so fricking tedious, is there anything to alleviate the grind?
Raid camps, you're bound to alteast get Gigaspheres and 5x ammo per kill.
Get pals that are actually effective at making those materials for you, also butcher any pals with the slacker passive
you can increase resource harvesting in world settings
debating a new run just to see how faster it is to get a setup going
grinding resources adds nothing to the game but padded time
if there’s a crafting speed modifier that shits going up too
for ore:
find a spot that has a lot of ore spawns, set up a base there, fill it with pals who have mining lv. 2+ and transport (i use tombats), one pal who drops food while at a ranch so they dont starve, set up a chest in the middle somewhere. they will mine the ore and carry it to the chest while you're doing other shit or afking
There's a spot on a mountaintop that has both coal and ore
>ammo
You could craft assloads of nails and sell them to the merchant and buy ammo from the same guy. This method doesn't require refined ingots too
>none of these frickers have mentioned the dupe glitch
You can literally dupe stuff and get like 9999 iron ingots or anything else in like 5 minutes.
Flying Mount and hatch eggs like no tomorrow while looking for catching power
Also catching tower bosses gives a lot of exp but it's also "cheating"
Incubate eggs, it's a massive exp gain.
>enter base
>one pal is stuck under the stairs
>two pals are standing on the lucario statue
>one pal is on the roof
>they're all starving to death
multiple stories are horrible for the tard AI they have, one invasion made my entire base catch fire which was a blessing in disguise cause I rebuilt it in a flat place and everything runs much smoother, although there's still the occasional moronation where one pal or another just turns their brain off for whatever reason
>make base on an entirely flat surface
>fast travel in
>one pal is stuck on top of a logging site tree, one is stuck on the incubation chamber and one spawned outside the base and the blue line that stops base pals from crossing is two-way for some reason so they're stuck too
>sigh and respawn them at the pc
>they all immediately run to the feedbox
>incubation chamber
I meant the condenser, they do spawn on the incubators but at least that's small enough to step off of
I find having no chest or any structures near the logging site is the best possible way. Also my bigger log cutting pals do a bit better than the grass chipmunks with that.
glorified moron babysitting sim
>these are my special pals
Real hell is the fricks in the breeding ranch just randomly leaving it, idling, then being unable to link back to it. Getting stuck is an easy fix but the cakes and breeding timers are so slow that wasting them is a kick in the teeth. I've spent 10 hours breeding Galeclaws and I've gotten exactly 7 eggs to show for it.

GOBFIN GENOCIDE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE

>Getting gangraped by Gobfins

>Hear beeping beside me
When you're level 30+ you can farm them for pal fluids
TOTAL GOBFIN DEATH
>Bought Palworld to try it out
>It is mediocre
At least the devs are giga based, so that alone makes my purchase feel justified.
Daedream was my favourite but when I got it the collar I stopped using it because it would kill everything I was trying to catch while permasummoned.
>try to rush to the biome where dazzi spawns
>extreme heat/cold desert
>dazzi's are also lvl 30+
I bought a black market dazzi for 7k gold.
i found a lvl 1 dazi from the bandit camps
i just need a male dazi so i can breed them
I found a dazzi in a cage, check the syndicate camps
I got it by hatching an electric egg in the first area
>tfw got both a male and female dazzi from my first two electric eggs
the gaki levels are off the charts
Check camps and eggs for rarer or higher level guys
Consider.
footjob erotic
>off model

They do have toes it's just not individually modelled thoughever.
>good dream trap is just floating through space worshipping Daedream's feet until I die
Not a bad way to go tbh.

I'll correct you!
>same annoying animal frickers comments and memes every single time
this game's fanbase will be cancer just like Pokemon's
>breed dazzi with glizzbolt
>Large fire egg
>It's giant flaming lion
Breeding, outside of very specific combos, has nothing to do with the "Parents".
Shit's weird, each parent has a "Breeding Number"
You add both then divide by 2, the new breeding number is the pal that comes out
I love her and her 20 sisters I caught like you wouldn't believe
>game canonically has monsterfricking
>spend 10 minutes fighting warsect
>get him low
>use 23 giga spheres
>finally catch him
>masochist +15% defense -15% attack
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
i think better tiers of pokeballs are worthless
being forced to farm those green eevee statues to improve your capture rates is kinda shit and i hope they fix it
I'm at like level 7 and blue spheres are outright useless against level 30s. They just bounce off even at very low HP
capture rates dont scale off your level
i was lvl 24 trying to cap lvl 30's and it still bounces a lot with yellow pokeballs
the statue power level, not the player level
capture rates is only tied to
>Monster HP
>Your Statue of Power level
>Type of Sphere used
your character level doesnt matter
Forgot status effects
if you hit the monster at the back with a pokeball
you get like a flat 10% bonus on capture rate
is there some kind of strat to do it consistently though? like say i get a boss low enough to try and catch, if i keep my pal out to distract it, its going to die real quick. but then if im solo its just gonna charge me
Only time I could do that was with lifmunks as they tend to run away
ive had that ice cat pokemon
and ive seen it freeze, even those boss arena monsters for like 10-ish seconds or maybe less
theres also lightning/thunder pals but i think the shocked effect only lasts for 3 seconds
IME freeze is harder to get on something but it lasts long when it does, and electric is easy to get off but doesn't last for too long.
Can be difficult to get behind Pals in combat.
Is that what I noticed when the palsphere had a fricking hitstop effect? Thought it was head shots but wasn't able to replicate it.
It's hitting their back when not in combat with them.
I meant statue of power level 7
there's a stun baton
It's useless.
I thought "finally a good melee weapon" but it deals less damage than the fricking meat cleaver.
Health > Weight > Stamina
The rest just sucks.
yeah i think its worth just flying around getting as many as you can, cuz its pretty easy to miss most of them, especially if you travel on the ground a lot
yeah the only good traits ive gotten a fair few of are work slaves
Eh, it encourages exploration.
if they give an item to ping or detect the lucky statues then maybe ill consider it
outside of exploring for the sake of finding new pokemons, trying to farm those lucky statues isnt really that rewarding
Fair
Go out at night, they glow and can be seen from far away, I think is fun and makes nighttime useful.
Nah, there's a scaling that subtracts from the capture power the higher the level. By Level 50, the first two tiers of Pal Spheres are always repelled. Higher tiers do have worth
I feel your pain
feels like everything I catch has the worst possible traits. the strongest pal I have is still a random direhowl I caught at the beginning of the game with musclehead (+30% attack), plus I can ride him and he's fast as shit
>Tie me to a rocket. Point me at Tel-Aviv. I'm ready.
Condense that pal and it'll survive the impact with 30% HP iirc
How many stars?
>Have we started the fire?
Inshallah.
I took this guy to 50
I got a lucky version of him with a big ass fire aoe move right at the start so I'll be doing the same

>do the pal fusion thing
>Find 4 direwolves for my wolf mount
>Significant boost in speed and attack and health

Fricking hell that's a tall order. But it's almost worth it.
Is being furry becoming mainstream? More and more people want to frick cartoon animals.
>mainstream
Only on twitter because that's where all the furry artists go to show off their stuff to the masses and attract customers, so that's where the furry consumers congregate. Closest deliberate furry thing that's gotten mainstream was the Ankha meme. Other than that, furgays are pretty tame on their own compared to the freaks of today.
>suddenly
Like 10 years ago dude were have you been?
normies used to act repulsed by anything that was even remotely furry, now it seems they're shifting into the "ironic" phase
Dude one of the "game of the year" literally got zoophilia in it. Media are filled with deranged people who can't separate private life from public one. You should expect way more fetishized content from now on
What's everyone been putting their level-ups into? Most of mine has gone in to carry weight so far, a few into work rate, a couple into HP, and 1 into stamina. I'm not sure how the damage calculations work, but the attack and defense increments seem really small.
Stamina is the best. Attack is good mid late game. Health is kind of useless on hard mode because everything one shots anyway. There are some amulets in the end game that reduce damage so then it becomes useful though. Crafting and weight is useless
>weight is useless
wrong
>weight is useless
how?
Grappling gun + item chests
That was patched
no it wasnt
I put 11 points in stamina and everything else into attack.
Any crazy people in here caught any cool human npcs yet? Do all of them leap punch and only do handiwork are do any have any funny quirks?
all humans act the same, the isekai cop is impossible to capture and using the glitch to capture bosses they just act like the pokemon they are riding
If you catch human merchants you can access their stores and buy and sell stuff whenever you want.
>put one in a capture chamber before relocating
>he was erased
frick but thank you, that's actually hilarious and useful. Glad the devs confirmed they're actually expanding on human capturing rather than patching it out when they said it wasn't intended.
I tried capturing the black market dude, but he pulled out a mini gun and sent me blasting off agaaaaaain..... *
I hope they make not-shinies
and no not Lucky either, bigger models actually frick up a lot of things.
the hardest worker in palworld:

reward her by letting the entire base breed with her
One way to castrate your entire base
>Castrared
Tempered.
If you are weak enough to get your dick burnt by those magma milkers you are not worthy to be my pal.
Can't relax for a second around these devious creatures
Are any of the flying pals actually fast or do I need to breed for speed? This nitewing I've been using is slow as shit.
I've only tried Vanwyrm so far and I felt like it was way faster than Nitewing
but I'm also drunk so I don't know
nitewing is babys first flyer, gotta do a lot of leveling before you get a decent one
Highly recommend Helzephyr. can be found in Gobfin swamp at night. It's medium size, fast as frick and add extra dark attack to your weapon when mounted. Also a worker with pure transportation lvl3, he do nothing else but cleanning your base. it's mad efficient
Does Swift boost the speed of mounts? Also, what level should I and my pals be to fight the first boss?
level 1
Zoe ain't that bad, I do recommend bringing a crossbow tho.
>Steamy sopping wet pussy
That's the good shit right there.
I'm just hoping someone makes a gijinka mod eventually
Is it true the mod server isn't allowing 'bestiality' mods and set up arbitrary rules on what pals are allowed to be lewded. What a load of shit
so will my little homosexuals put the milk and shit into the cooler automatically if i put some in there to start with?
no
they always prioritize the feed box until it's full
the way I've gotten around this is to fill up all its slots besides the one I'm putting actual food in with cotton candy, which never expires
ahh i see. so if the box is full will they seek out the next stack they can find or will just throw it anywhere?
The priority is feedbox -> fridge -> closest box with free slots or an existing stack
No. They'll prioritize the feedbox unless the slots are all full.
Is there an easy way to move around gazillion pounds of stuff like 100000 ores?
Grapple hook lets you move while encumbered to get to fast travel nodes or chests
grapple gun. then swap its slot with another tool/weapon, then swap it back. it will reset its cooldown
good to know thanks
So is there any point in every making any kind of food than the regular berries? I just carry a huge stack of berries in my food slot and one berry farm is enough to sustain a whole base of pals.
the eating animation is per unit of food, so if they're eating a bunch of small shitty food instead of the big good food they have to spend more time eating
when you're using pals that eat a lot all that time really starts to add up
Some foods give bonuses as well
When you go far enough you get cream pasta and pizza. Both give like 100+ satiety while recovering lots of sanity
They also don't take forever to cook like cakes too
Why the frick do catch rates fricking fall off so damn hard past level 30?
because you're supposed to be using the better balls at that point
At that point hypers start to struggle and ultras are a lot more expensive to make
Every 10 levels tends to call for a stronger ball type. 1-10 is blue, 11-20 is green, 20-30 is yellow, 31-40 is red, and 41+ is purple. Also HP below 50 (not %, but 50 value) matters by huge amounts, but without the stun baton good luck lowing it without killing at lv30+.
You’re supposed to upgrade your palball industrial complex
is there a production setting you can change in the world settings? sitting in the base is getting old
Why wont my pals enter my house to help me craft?
I also put a pal bed near my own but thet still dont get in even with door open. What am i doing wrong?
Doors and walls confuse them. Until they fix the pathing, you're just going to have to accept that everything except your bed has to be out in an open and flat area.
Well shit.
Reminder: it's okay when she does it
GIWTWM
No it is not.
>oh you want to build here? Too bad!
>catch a Nitewing 8 levels above me at the very start of the game
>spend the next 20 minutes watching it divebomb pals so fast I can't track their flying body with my camera
Maybe this game isn't so bad
>baking a cake takes so fricking long
>guess ill suck it up and help
>TSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
>have 900 crafting speed
>Still takes like a solid 30 seconds for a single cake
Breeding legit takes so much god damn set up.
oh shit did i frick up not getting any crafting speed? i just assumed my pals would be handling it all late game
at 700+ crafting I still craft faster then even handiwork lv3 pals can on their own, and they only assist by taking 2-3 seconds off of most timers at best. Also I feel like it improves gathering speed as well, but that might just be me at times with the right gathering pal and not noticing then it kicking in.
that one passive should give craft speed, stacks for each party pal that has it. type says movespeed though.
very interesting. theres no respeccing though is there?
There's a respec potion but it's broken. It also resets your lifmunk effigies.
The best stats are Stam, HP, and like 4-5 levels of weight.
gee anons, I sure hope you're not wasting your time breeding, at least for combat pals, when you haven't caught Jetragon and thus don't even have access to this passive yet
>bro just wait until you capture the lv50 boss to start breeding
kys brainless loser
look at all that hostility
this dude has wasted hours of his time to get +10% attack on lamball and he just can't cope
anyone have a download link
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1623730/Palworld/
Doesn't it only attack when you have a ranged weapon out?
When are they going to add sex?
>want to start upgrading pals with souls and the blender
>immediately hesitate because what if I get a Pal with better passives? Maybe I should grind the perfect Pal
>neither upgrade nor grind
This always fricking happens in every game. How easy is it to grind a good passive set through breeding? Should I just bite the bullet, or will it take too long?
you can refund your upgrades when a pal becomes useless and blender isn't a big upgrade so it doesn't really matter. just push with pals you like then eventually swap them out when they're not useful anymore
damn anubis does go pretty hard at crafting
I want Flopie sex
I NEED Flopie sex
Flopie face sitting on me....licking Flopie's toe beans
Flopie nuzzling my musky balls...
What's the easiest to farm food that actually fills a lot of hunger? I need to feed my mining base efficiently. I'd like to have the food source full auto in that base with minimal pals interfering, but if it's something I need to cook I'd be fine with schlepping some stacks over every now and then.
Salad fills up like 84 hunger and both ingredients are farmable (lettuce+tomato)
Lettuce unlocks late though
The berries continue to work for me (I'm level 20), I leave a couple of pals with irrigation (the pirate penguin and some monkey for example) and they plant and they end up accumulating food quickly with the berry fields, now I'm with the wheat and having bread and with a pal cow (I don't remember the name).
Something that surprised me about this game is the difficulty, I have died stupidly facing the boss, even the simple ones
I went to the first boss after the tutorial quests told me so and got my ass whooped. Only beat it when me and my Pals were around Level 20
Same. My pals weren't gonna get anywhere in ten mins. Had to catch a rushoar and train it up to 20 to get that sweet type effectiveness.
I just started playing yesterday. It's pretty insane to me that even with the bugs that the skeleton this game has is so solid. Is there a Giovanni for the Team Rocket poachers?
The Syndicate boss is the first one you fight anon
That's it? God that sorta blows ngl.
She's actually the daughter of the boss
Giovanni has a daughter???
No, he has a son.
You'd think it buffs speed from reading the description, because it says it buffs speed.
look what i got in an egg.....ITS OVER FOR THESE Black folk!!!!!
he cute
That thumbnail looks like a real photograph of a plushie or am I just schizo
PROOOOOOOOH
You forgot the umlats
PRÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖH
Any cute ice types to look forward to? Chillet is my wife
yes
how to make captured wandering merchants cycle their stock?
I cant use flying pal on my base without them getting stuck everywhere
what are some good hauler pauls?
there are so many shit laying on the ground everywhere from wood stone ore coal foods
Put chests right next to the ores or inside your ranch. Materials can be accessed anywhere for crafting
Didn't realize these guys came in herds.
When I first walked into one of those damn things, I just finished killing Grintale. Battered and bruised, I made sure to not aggro him. Unfortunately, I was too late, as he became instantly aggro and proceeded to beat the shit out of me, outrunning me and driving me back into the dust from which I came.
I really need to find this place. I need to farm so much oil for a legendary gun.
The gobfin’s turf is a good place for it as a stopgap
i wish this game had visible wounds so i can blow their heads smooth off
Mods soon
god i hope so
>gets locked behind a pay wall or hotfix
>vietcong facing off against US marines, colorized
>WHY IS THAT ROCK SPEAKING KOREAN?
i wish there was more edgy boys t b h. i want a big scary looking pal
I got rid of all the boss version of any big pal
bigger pal have nightmare pathing into anything
Are boss pals generally better than their regular counterparts or are they literally just bigger?
They usually have unique attacks, and sometimes better stat if there is a guaranteed trait.
The real meta is breeding the traits down to a regular-size though
Can you still catch the tower bosses or did the patch "fix" that?
Also. If I defeat a boss normally. Do they ever respawn? Or do I need to catch them before beating them normally?
they respawn all the time
Yes anon, you can still capture the bosses
Most bosses respawn after an hour
i dont recommend using them outside of your base though. they have waaay too much health
>they have waaay too much health
I actually wish the caught versions had normal health. Because otherwise their stats and moves match the regular pals. Only that these are cooler.
If not for the HP thing I would totally be using them. But with the HP thing I might as well memory edit the game to enable godmode because it's practically cheating.
Oh well.
Based quads. It's pretty moronic, the first boss at level 20 has like 60k hp, it trivializes the entire game.
can you transfer saves from the cracked version to the steam version?
>Run backwards
>Make my base at what I think will br the tutorial base (Cutscene starts there but you are placed by first statue)
>Try to make a dock, no luck. Make a nice beachfront resort to test building mechanics to try and make two buildings connected by wood and 2 stories
>Have fun and get my first raid
>They ate stuck on top of the ruins
>3rd raid spawn so many dudes pushing one level 20 guy is shoved off due to too many dudes running into each other and falls 200 feet into my base and takes fall damage
>My base is literally raid proof
I'm a bit sad, but I am gonna figure out what each goal of my 2 bases will focus on and practicing my base buildijg before playing multiplayer with people
The most common 2nd base is one set up next to several Ore mining points
Just enough dudes to make food to feed everyone, then nothing but haulers and miners and a fox setting fire to shit
I'll get on that after I pack up the second base. I used it while exploring Marsh Island and I unlocked fort walls and I made a massive circular fort that I was gonna turn into a farming area to gather at ranches and stuff.
No fox. He's slow as frick. I'm going to catch a fire Gyarados for fast ingots.
but they dont do anything unless youre at the base? so why not just tele the mats to your main base and have them do it there
why doesnt my cleaver work anymore? im just petting even with the cleaver out
it's going to be a sad day for us PLATEAUCHADS when they give jumping/climbing to raiders
>let big bad grizzbolt frick my prized dazzi
>OH BOY THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC
>common egg
>........
>chikipi
i dunno what they did in the update but the game its crashing on loading sometimes, didnt crash at all before the patch
How do i stop my electric mons from charging the generator. it doesn't have to be at constant 100% pls calm down
feel like ive hit a bump and xp has dropped off a lot in my late 20s. maybe i just havent been catching as much though
STOP LUSTING AFTER MONSTERS
YOUR LOAD IS DESTINED TO BE INSIDE ANOTHER HUMAN FEMALE TO PRODUCE OFFSPRING WHO CAN FIGHT IN WARS
FRICK
Very neato. Thanks
I'm the type to obsessively pick and choose who I want in games like this. I never filled out my pokedex in any pokemon game even though I would play them so much
Don't be afraid to catch every and every Pal, the game even encourages this by catching 10 of the same Pal XP bonuses
I remember hatching my vanwyrm (people weren’t lying when they said to replace nitewing asap, because he’s slow butthole that needs to do some fricking cardio) then collecting everything that had been crafted, and he got to 12 just from hanging around the base
This is my lamball
I will murder everything within a 10 mile radius for her.
>took 20 something spheres to catch
>doesnt do anything except eat and walk
>still worth
Can't you put him on a sandbag?
Never used the bell, sandbags, or fixed defensive structures. Seems useless to dedicate 1/15th of your base to doing nothing when they probably do more damage with their base attacks
nah i cant even pick him up, and if i have him out as my pal he doesnt even use his gun, just jumps at the enemy and punches them kek
Sex with daedream
where did you guys build your base? Im a little afraid of investing too much in a bad base location
The map is RNG resources, so you have to pick a spot that has trees, ores
just pick one of the big yellow circles
yellow circles?
the map is covered with these
What a shitty design.
pretty much. some of them are npc camps, but the majority of them are just empty
Probably spots to build bases
There fricking expo markers. Any RTS has them.
they are obvious spots to build bases consider have of them have ore spawn on them.
yeah and we dont need designated BASE BUILDING SPOTS you fricking moron
You kind of fricking do anon? Of course the game designers need to make sure the topography of the game aligns with being able to fricking build.
dont move the goal posts now moron. you argued for big circles on the map for LE EPIC BASE SPOTS. have you ever played ark? rust? conan exiles? it is not necessary you fricking muppet
First base I built near the spawn in a really awful place that I’m too lazy to move. I’ve turned it into full food production for the other two.
Second base is a little west of the small settlement. There’s a flat area with like 6 ore things on it that I’m using as my primary base now.
Third base is some random ass mountain near the Vaelet boss that has coal and ore. I have like 10 turtles here.
The turtles are actually ass for mining base pals.
Something fricks up about the way they collect ore when not being directly commanded out of the party. Basically anything else is better.
They're probably the first mining 3 pal you'll get unfortunately
Next would be those fire/ice dinos that actually attack like tombats
The fire/ice lizards are so big they keep getting stuck for me
find a spot with 5+ ores all together
My permanent base is on the beach near the Penking boss. It’s a massive open area so there’s minimal risk of pathfinding issues, and there’s no ore/trees to distract pals that should be doing more important jobs.
It’s also got some choke points for raiders you can wall off
lol
You are saying what you son of basterd b***h?!
They need to copy that
Gotta get that swift trait bro
Any Kingpaca enjoyers itt?
I have him in my party but he rarely gets used.
I used it a bit after I caught it, it wound up being my go-to filler if someone died for a bit after that and did fine in that role.
That's a huge brat
I don't mind it attacking, no different from any other pal, but I do mind them standing in front of the camera and standing where I'm trying to build something with no easy way to withdraw them
This big boi has mining 4 too
>wall gap
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA FAIL!!!!
You pvp Black folk are going to get cucked soon so glhf
Pvp sounds so bad in this game unless they significantly rework both combat and how you gain power by then.
I have no interest in Ark/Rust pvp autism so I'll stay in single player anyway
This FAT frick just won't go away from my base
>Not building on the cliffside above him.
homies need to lrn2build.
How viable is just stuffing a shitmon with non-detrimental traits full of souls and essence?
Cuz I love Flopie and wanna keep it, but it's kinda lagging now.
>devs ask themselves what would sell to Americans
>"let's add guns to it!"
>sells well
I wish more games these days would pander to Americans from the 80s and 90s...
>Spent 2 hours trying to make a stairs onto a cliff for a house for my mons
>Still not sure if the morons can go up and down from there
God I hate the pathing so much.
I've found having two sets of stairs next to eachother helps.

>Luckily I already have them in my Palbox

Bringing the Egyptians back into slavery, one cake at a time.
>name one of my pals
>find a much stronger version of the same pal
>sell my old pal and give the new pal the old pal's name
i've read a bunch of manga with this plot point already so just be careful cuz if that old pal ever comes back you're dead
It's been so long. I forgot where the source of this image was from. The reverse image searches don't even know now.
>The reverse image searches don't even know now.
it took me less than a minute to find it you lying bloody bastard b***h!
I don't believe you. Sauce Nao, Trace and IQDB gives me nothing. Yandex just links me to the reaction image version used in different threads. Tineye just gives me Emergence.
Unless you have a FunnyJunk account and could click the link. In that case, lol
i didn't have to click the link since the name of the manga was right next to it moron
Lol
i accept your concession
The link details ate not viewable unless you have account
Once again, lol
i don't have an account you moron
once again the name of the manga was written down next to the link moron
It's from tayutayu
grats on finding it i knew you had it in you

How are some people equipping multiple shields? Like on Head/Accessory.
Epic.
>Get a Tocotoco
>get egg launcher upgrade
>Laugh my ass off as I blast everything to an explosive death by smacking its ass, shooting eggs out of it
Game unironically has soul. It's been over a decade since I had seen something like this.
What was the game from over a decade ago that had soul? I wanna know if it's something I've played.
Make that two decades ago. Armed and Dangerous. I'm growing old.
It was shit, you were a kid in that time i guess.
No, this was made by the same people that made Giants: Citizen Kabuto and MDK. They made great games, then they vanished.
If those came out today youd called it reddit, rick and morty and mcu ripoffs
Yeah, but they didn't, so I call them kino.
>if things were different then they would be different
Yeah, no shit. Got any more profound wisdom for the class?
To defeat the Cyberdemon, shoot at it until it dies.
>torches seem like a good idea
>turns out they need fire pals to light them
>fricked pathfinding means they are focused on lighting torches over actual work
I hope you homosexuals don't make this mistake. Just use campfires or the heater to light up your place. It's late but once you get electricity, you can use powered lamps instead without it fricking over your pals ai
That's why the Powered Variants are super useful.
They're also super bright too, compared to the Torches.
???
They embedded a google doc in the patch notes?
kek, yeah
SOVL
should i just fly to all the towers to catch the bosses before it gets patched?
No because the patch will remove the bosses from your inventory.
i dont want to kill or be mean to pals.
is there a way to toggle Off the harness upgrade? I thought he would just be near you without attacking others, sorta like Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow. Would be cool if you could pick what he would do once the harness was crafted without having to command him to stop attacking, like set it up so he only attacks when told to, or have him only pick up stuff, or attack once X% of health has dropped from the player, like the gambit system from FF12.
I THINK you can drop key items. Don't quote me on that though.
>Build a huge shack in a new location to move all my stuff to
>Build with Wood
>Just finish up moving everything over
>Raided by wild pals
>They're fire based pals
>Virtually destroys EVERYTHING except the sleeping shack with the main loot chests
>Huge production shack is burned down
>Small Main platform for the Pal Box burns
>Lose over 1000 cooked berries
>Now need to rebuild everything
Frick.
At least I had time to rebuild with Stone.
This is why the most wood I use is to make my comfy fart-shack with nothing but my bed in it.
>pic
DOES Lamball get a tech upgrade to use weapons?
i genuinely don't know how this can happen unless you afk'd the whole time
my experience with raids is that if I run up and have my pal use an aoe move they all die, or I can just do nothing and my pals working will kill them anyway
frankly they're disappointingly easy, I've felt no real need to build defenses or turrets
They were level 30+ and I don't have a good gun. Just an uncommon Crossbow. One attack got loose in the middle of the area and it baked everything.
>oh you want me to build items?
>think ill just mine stone/do some logging for all eternity
please tell me there at least one mother fricker with only handicraft and nothing else
humans
Can I play this game with the PS5 controller on my PC? I like playing games on my tv while laying on bed. I bought it but still have to try it out.
Yes

>they all have pacifist
>wtf
>realize my chillet has pacifist
t-those cakes......baked for nothing....
>>oh you wanted to catch that pal anon? too bad!
What do you mean, "Too bad?" Literally all I have to do is keep hurling my balls at her until she submits and becomes mine. Rules of nature, motherfricker.
>playing on friends servers a world away on top of my already shit ping so I have to learn to start thinking half a second ahead to avoid killing pals
we moved to a new server that was slightly better for me though
>reach bottom of the thread
>last half a dozen posts are my own
oh no
That's why I can't stand people who reply with a separate post to every individual post they find interesting. Just reply to them all in one post. Do you think we can't tell it's all you?
I only reply to them as I come across them.
Do F partner skills scale with the pal's attack stat? Like the guns and jolthog's explosion or Pengullet's allahu akbar rocket etc?
Can you drop a base cooler next to a fridge to power it without a pal?
>thread is dying
I liked this thread. It was a good thread. Goodbye thread.
Time to go to the number threads.
