To be fair the 3D Zeldas do typically end up changing quite a bit from game to game, OoT and TP are pretty similar but MM and WW are very different from both and SS had its shit waggle autism. I'm hoping that after BotW2 they shake the formula up again because it's my least favorite of the 3D games.
The wii remote autism doesn't affect how the game is. It's still a normal zelda game.

MM was all about the sidequests, that was the meat of the game and no other Zelda game ever did them so well. The temples were pretty good but what everyone remembers is Clocktown.
Ikana valley was underdeveloped tbh, but stone tower was the coolest temple. The only bad temple was the mountain one.
MM also has arguably the best soundtrack and atmosphere in the series. no idea why nintendo are so scared to make zelda a bit weirder again.

The items got so much shittier after Brawl. What was the most overpowered item in Brawl? The smart bomb? Poke balls? Now in Ultimate you have the gust bellows that literally KO people at 0% from across the screen for free. Even casually ultimate is shit
