I don't even remember the plot here except it was some dwarfs voting for the end of the world frickery.
This comic is probably way better if you read it at once. Too bad none of us will live to see it.
Note also the actually different perspective in panel 4. I bet it took all of Rich's artistic ability to rise to the challenge of moving the camera 90 degrees.
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to see something visually interesting that wasn't immediately spelled out. Wouldn't mind seeing the characters interact nonlinearly with themselves in past/future panels. It's been done but it's fun, and the comic really needs to bring up that fun:exposition ratio
So were the other Gates susceptible to this too? Would purple dimensional threads just pop out of existence around Azure City's castle or in the living quarters of Girard's family?
Girard maybe, Azure City I would say unlikely. The gate was in the very public throne room, I don't see how they could have kept the threads secret. (Barring retcons of course.)
She says it was while they were building the gates. Presumably once they were in place the gates held the threads at bay, but they're returning now that the gates have been weakened.

Recall that the Azure City gate was by far the smallest of the bunch. If it happened it likely would have been practically imperceptible.
Still a retcon though, this seems like a very important detail that was never mentioned up until now.

Nice to see /tg/ still can't read.
They appeared during construction of the gates, not whenever. 3rd panel.
Nice to see we haven't run out of stuck up people who are not as smart as they think they are.
Serini reacted to the threads as a routine thing. If the appearances stopped after gate completion, she wouldn't have seen them for decades. The fact that she didn't freak implies it's a fairly common occurrence.
The entire page.
>don't they have a ten foot pole or retainer they could use?
They're unsure if it's dangerous to the toucher or reality itself. The pole mitigates risk for the former but not the latter.
No one else is saying it, so I will. I think its cool that the panels themselves are messing up when close to an unraveling of creation. That's clever.
WORDS WORDS WORDS
do you remember when this was a lighthearted comedy magazine?
I've been reading this comic since middle school, and it's always been pretty damn wordy. How are you along for the ride but not used to it yet?
How many years have you been words words words posting for?
I'd hate to see you guys read a real comic book. You might actually shoot yourselves.
Capeshit isn’t worth reading.
Someone post that Hunter X Hunter page
It wasn't funny, by I do remember. The only thing this comic has ever been good for are the edits. Which of course makes Burlew seethe.
Yeah, Thogs are banned on the GitP forums, supposedly because they completely misunderstood copyright law.
Good Thog
The real reason is that they make Rich butthurt.
This page was released in 2006
Shut up
CUM ON FEEL THE NOIZE
SHIT COMICS, ROCK THE SÓYS
YOU GET WORDS WORDS WORDS
(WORDS WORDS WORDS)
So you say my comic's got no art
It makes me money
And I don't know why
It also spawned one of the most elaborately cut Thogs until the Bruce Wayne one.
I usually like any of them where a really long and boring spiel is summed up in like 2 words.
>caw caw
I don't even remember the plot here except it was some dwarfs voting for the end of the world frickery.

There are two amazing Thogs of this one
And it would probably help if I remembered to add the file
At least some comics are self-aware when they have too much text. OOTS? Not one bit.
>OOTS? Not one bit
You're replying to the one page of oots that does, in fact, demonstrate awareness of being wordy.
I recently re-read the entire comic over 3 days. I cried again at Durkon beating the vampire. Its incredibly well written.
Hot damn, I've seen manga with less text than this. Tl;dr.
not being able to taste ice cream is kinda sad
it was a callback to prequel book with xykon
he was pissed about not tasting coffee through
yeah that was pretty funny
Having the threads break through the borders and warp the panel layout is probably the most interesting thing that happened in this comic all year.
Note also the actually different perspective in panel 4. I bet it took all of Rich's artistic ability to rise to the challenge of moving the camera 90 degrees.

Unsounded did it first, better, and with actual art.
LETTING THE THREADS GO BY
LET THE WORDS HOLD ME HOLD
LETTING THE THREADS GO BY
LET THE WORDS HOLD ME HOLD
ONCE IN A LIFETIME(this shit updates)
>not even thog cares any more
It truly is over.

Cool, now cite the actual strip homosexual because I probably last read it years ago.
>the universe is made of colorful sticks
Subtle.
What so clever?
uhg!!
when it's gonna end?!
how much can you stretch a comic?
unbelievable
pretty good
Love that little reference to the prequel comics they snuck in there.
upscale
(should have let the bard pet the soul-devouring entity)
you know, for science
Oh, come on, don't they have a ten foot pole or retainer they could use?

talky comic talk too much
got a genuine laugh out of me. timing really is everything
>the d ick

Anon, that was mentioned in the sixth post.
You would know this if you actually read the thread.
