I've played it, and... It's alright.
Has some flaws that are annoying, but i did enjoy it.
The soundtrack, girls and main villain were the best part, but i really wished the story was better (and that we could play as Torque and Spade... Or even as Serpentine).
I hope that the sequel doesn't frick up, but considering that the dev decided to commit transition, i fear a monkey paw or a 50/50 coin flip... Or that the game is going to be delayed once again.
>saying that the girls were the best part of the game
See this is why i avoid games like this. It's obviously some fetish thing for weirdos who jerk off constantly.
I never got past the first level. I kept feeling like I should just play a game that's even more like Sonic, even though whatever the frick was the one that wasn't Lilac could roll n' shit. Plus the camera felt too zoomed in or some shit.
Nice original take on the 2D Sonic gameplay.
The story's author had too much anime on the brain.
It's taken so long for a sequel, I've lost interest in the franchise.
Bad.
People advertized it as being 'basically sonic' but its closer to rocket knight on the MC, who is also the only balanced character. The cat has Zero style combos in a game where the other characters 1 or 3 shot everything, and for the mc, do so while retaining momemtum. Its an insane imbalance. The fact enemies mostly don't get 1 shot (like in Sonic) really drags down the pacing.
That said the dog girl (who 1 shots most things) is fun.
Also its pathetic they said they'd add some dude with a gun to the playable cast like 6 years ago only to just give up because adding 1 fuciking character is 'too hard'
Levels are too fricking long, great music, and cringy voice acting. It's a pretty decent indie sonic clone.
Lilac is unfortunately the only fun character to play as, Tiger b***h is slow and combat is kind pointless outside of bosses and the Milia is too fricking slow.
Sequel never because dev trooned out
it's meant to be coming out two months from now, but I suppose that there's a 41% chance it won't happen
>mfw
Only honorable sonic clones cause its an actual thought up new idea instead of reusing sprites from other games.
Devs are moronic though.
skip the story it's cringe
The girls are the best part
I WANT MY FULL TORQUE MODE, DAMMIT!
Why can’t I play it using a controller?

I think the girls are extremely cute, I enjoyed the CRINGE story mode, and the music. The level design and combat is fun.
It's a "DeviantArt" sort of moe.
moronic devs
Good game
Maybe even the best from 2014.
Can't really remember what else came out that year besides Ground Zeroes and this.

Decent game. Looks bad post-Sonic Mania. Kickstarter shitshow with unfulfilled stuff.
Second game might not come out as dev is trying to be a Vtuber. Only thing interesting is Shang Mu Architect i.e. fanmade level editor.
I was aware of the dev transitioning, but not of the v-tuber thingy.
Also, never knew that they made a fangame. But who's that character in the pic?
Stife's OC before he got permission to use Carol who's been given the name "Carrie". She's been added to the level editor.
Oh, very cool. I like how she has a double jump instead of a motocycle.
And even more cooler that there's playable Spade as well.
Yep, perfect play to make live action fanfiction. Perhaps the game (because you need more than one game to be a franchise) will live on like that.
RIP /FPG
Okay gameplay held back by shit story, held back even further by the cringe worthy voice acting.

Kind of loathe the character designs, though Gashi makes them at least look ok.
